"Percy," the words escape my mouth as I open my eyes to survive another day of school.

I shrug and get out of my comfortable bed, yawning. Why was school made? I make my way way to the shower and relax as the warm water pours on my body. Without wasting anymore time I got out and wrapped my towel around my body.

"What should I wear?" I ask myself as I look through my closet.

Finally I just went with some denim shorts and a black tight t-shirt. I take my bag and phone, as I make my way downstairs. The smell of pancakes reach my nose and I sniff it like a dog.

"Finally a proper breakfast," I said sitting down on one of the chairs.

Dad is reading the newspaper and my brothers are already eating the pancakes. It's been a long time since I have seen my family. Since mom started going to work, we all haven't had a single meal together without distractions. Not even on weekends.

I get snapped out of my thoughts as mom places a plate of pancakes in front of me. I look at my mom. Her pale face like she is very tired, but she managed to smile. I smiled back.

"How's school going on Annabeth?" my dad asked folding the paper.

"Good," I said continuing to eat my last pancake.

"Any boyfriends?" dad asked smirking.

I freeze holding the last piece of pancake close to my mouth. My brothers stop playing on the phone. Mom pokes her head out from the kitchen. It's so awkward. Everybody's eyes are fixed on me.

"Yes," I said in a small voice.

My mother hurriedly comes and sits beside me. A big smile is plastered on her face.

"Who is he?"

"What are his hobbies?"

"Does he seriously love you?" 

"Does he have a PS4?" 

My family fires questions on me like bullets firing from a gun.

"STOP!" I said standing up.

They all become quiet and continue to stare at me.

"I'll tell you on one condition. We will have dinner together, tonight. Without phones," I said proudly, as I pick up my bag and slip my phone in the short's pocket.

"Agreed," all of them said in unison.

"Have a good day!" mom said as I walked out of the house. 

I was so glad. Finally, we all will sit and have a proper dinner. I see Percy sitting on the bike as he adjusts his hair in the rear view mirror.

"You look happy Wise Girl?" Percy said noticing my smile.

"I'm going to tell mom and dad about us tonight," I said hopping behind him on the back.

"Are you sure?"Percy said starting the bike.

"Yes. By the way when are you telling your mom?" I asked as we drove off.

*At school*

"Already told," Percy said smirking. 

"Smartie," I said nudging him with my elbow.

"Guys this is awesome!" Thalia said running towards us, holding her phone in her hand.

"What's up Thals?" Percy asked confused.

"The Kiss and Paint thing? Our's is on fire guys!" Thalia said showing us her phone screen.

Indeed it was on fire. In less than 24 hours, we had already got 1 million views!

"Congrats to all," I heard a voice come from behind Thalia.

Actually many voices. I poked my head to see who was behind and there was the rest of the squad.

"This is so lit! Group hug!" Piper announces as we all pulled into a group hug.

"We should hurry to our classes. See ya in lunch guys!" Calypso said rushing.

*Art Class*

"Faster Annie," Calypso said pulling me as we entered the art room.

I was breathing heavily. I didn't have the slightest idea that Calypso is such a fast runner. Because I thought she was a girly girl, obsessed with makeup and clothes. But she was beauty with brains. And Energy.

"We will try to finish it today," Calypso said as we looked at the canvas in my hand.

I nodded and me and Calypso said to work. My brush started working as Calypso directed me. Yes, I was working on the picture of me and Percy. 

After half an hour, the bell rang indicating the end of the period.

"We would do it in next class," Calypso said looking pleased.

The painting was almost done and I was very happy.

*English class*

Present perfect tense, Hazel's talks etc..

*Geography*

Natural vegetation etc..

*Lunch*

Random talks etc...

*Maths class*

I walk with Percy to the class. I was quite nervous to face Luke and his stare's. Like come on! Who wouldn't be nervous to face his/her ex?!

The class starts and I scribbled down in my notepad, ignoring the looks from Luke. Well, trying to. Just then there is a knock on the door. A boy with brown hair stands on the door. I guess his name was Connor Stoll.

"Sorry to disturb you ma'am. But Mr. Brown wants to see Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase," Connor tells.

*Theatre*

Me and Percy pack our bags and get out of the class. Connor doesn't speak anything on the way. He leads the way and soon we reach the theatre door. The cold air of the air conditioner strikes my face. We make our way inside and saw Mr. Brown pace around in anger.

"What's up Mr.Brown?" Percy asked casually.

"Have you done it?" Mr.Brown asked hoping for a positive answer.

Me and Percy looked at each other in confusion.

"What did we have to do?" I asked confused.

"That's what I expected!" Mr.Brown said facepalming.

"I think it's my cue to leave," Connor said going out.

"Please tell me you have learnt the lines for the play!" Mr.Brown said pleadingly.

Me and Percy look at each other, our eyes wide open. We forgot about the Romeo and Juliet play!

"We will do it now," I said searching the crumpled paper which had my lines on it.

The rest of the classes, me and Percy skipped it, learning the script and practicing.

"Give me my Romeo, and, when I shall die,

Take him and cut him out in little stars,

And he will make the face of heaven so fine

That all the world will be in love with night,

And pay no worship to the garish sun. "

"Okay you both. Good job. It's dispersal. See you tomorrow," Mr.Brown said dismissing us.

Me and Percy heave a sigh of relief and walked out, our bags hanging on one shoulder.

*Dispersal*

"What happened?" Jason asked looking at the pale faces of mine and Percy's.

"Please come to see the play on Saturday," Percy said and without any other word, we left the school.

"Learn your lines thoroughly Seaweed Brain," I said walking towards my house.

"Good luck for tonight," Percy shouted.

"Thanks," I shouted back.

*Dinner Time* 

"Tell Annabeth!" my mom said excitedly sitting beside.

I sigh as I put some rice on my plate. It was time to reveal the truth.

"You know him," I said giving them a hint.

"Annabeth reveal," dad said in a stern voice.

"Percy," I said quickly closing my eyes.

There was silence and I opened my eyes. Everybody was looking at me. Everybody's mouth was wide agape.

"You mean Percy Jackson? Sally's son?" mom said smiling and I was glad that she didn't scream.

I nodded. Slowly, everybody's expression softened.

"You made the right choice my daughter," dad said smiling.

"Cheers to Annabeth and Percy," Mom said lifting her wine glass.

Dad picked up his glass and me and my brother's picked up our glasses filled with water. We clinked our glasses and drank.

Oh I absolutely forgot to tell you that Percy's swimming competition is postponed to the coming monday because of some reparation in the pool.

I smiled to myself as I lay on the bed. The dinner went so good.'

Slowly, my eyes closed and I fell asleep.
