"Can I go to school today?"I asked my mom as soon as I woke up.

"Sure.You are getting better,"mom said as she gave me the warm milk.

I quickly drank the warm milk and got out of the bed.

I walked in the bathroom and took a shower.

A really good one which was so refreshing.

After having a good and relaxing shower I slipped into a pair of ripped jeans and a black crop top.

I put mine and Hazel's notebooks in my bag and rushed downstairs.

I grabbed an apple and got out of the house.

I was looking forward to see Luke's welcoming smile but instead there was no one.

Neither Percy nor Luke.

Just then I heard a familiar voice.

"Hey girl need a ride?"the voice asked.

"You're a lifesaver Hazy,"I said as I slid beside Hazel in the passenger seat.

"I'm always there for you,"Hazel said as she started the car and we drove off.

"Where are your boys?"Hazel asked her eyes still fixed on the road.

I rolled my eyes.

"Luke must have thought that I won't be coming today,"I said as I unlocked the phone and swiped the screen up and down.

"What about Percy?'Hazel asked as if she knew nothing.

I didn't answer.

"Still not made up with him?"Hazel asked as if she had read my thoughts.

I nodded.

The car pulled in our school parking.

Hazel placed her hand on my shoulder.

"Don't worry.Percy just cares for you so he told you to make a right decision.He will cool down.I bet you will be able to make up with him.If you need a ride back home let me know."

I hugged Hazel tightly and she didn't take much time to hug me back.

We walked together inside the school.

Everybody was surprised and happy to see me.

Percy was standing there quiety,his unusual self.Luke was nowhere to be seen.I had the urge to ask somebody but I held it back.

"You fine Annie?"Piper asked interrupting my thoughts.

"Yeah absolutely,"I said as I gained back my consciousness.

"We need to go to class,"Piper continued.

"Come on,"I said as I walked with her to the class.

Hazel's talks,no signs of Luke still...

*Break time*

I walked in the canteen with Hazel, gripping tightly my owl necklace.

"Annie," Hazel said as we picked up our food tray.

"Yeah?"I asked barely serious.

"Are you thinking about Percy?"she asked out of the blue.

I looked at her with my eyes wide open.

"No. Why?"

"Because he's not on the table till now,"Hazel said as she drank the juice.

I glanced around the table.

Percy and Luke both were not there.

Zeus knows what they both are upto.

Suddenly, in midst of all the laughter and howling, the canteen door opened with a thud!

"Here comes the boy,"Leo said laughing, trying to create a fun environment but according to Percy's expression he was not in the mood to have fun.

He had sweat beads all over his forehead and the look in his eyes was like he was.... searching for someone.

"Here you are,"Percy said coming to our table.

I thought he was saying it to Thalia who was sitting beside me and also because she was his best friend.

But instead, he grabbed me by my wrist, his strong hands holding it tightly, as we ran out of the canteen with my other friends following us.

I could feel eyes following us as every step we made.

Finally Percy halted behind a bush and in front was a very small garden.

"Where the--"I started but Percy put his finger on my lips.

His fingers on my lips.. well this was not the time to think about it.

The rest of the group came and sat behind us.

"Where are we Perce?"Jason whispered from somewhere behind us.

"Just wait and watch,"Percy said as he leaded us out of the bush slowly without making a sound.

It felt like we were detectives.

Cool.

We came closer to two figures.

I came closer and got a clear vision.

Blonde hair and black hair.

I recognized the two people.

Luke and Drew.

They were kissing.Like too much deeply.

We all stood there, me and Percy in the front while they both were unaware.

I froze.

My legs, hands body nothing would move.

Finally they noticed us.

They both noticed us.

Drew still wore a smirk on her face without guilt.

Luke's face was like he had just seen a zombie charging towards him.

"I told you I would take my revenge Annabeth,"those were the exact words that came out of Drew's mouth.

I remembered the words Drew had said when I had slapped her.

I will take my revenge Annabeth Chase.

"Annabeth-"Luke said coming closer to me.

My legs finally got conscious and moved backwards with each step Luke took towards me.

"Go away.It's over,"I say as I backed away.

"But Annabeth, let me explain,"Luke said.

"No. It's over,"I said as I turned back and ran away wherever my legs could carry me, tears trickling down my cheeks.

I could hear my friends yelling at Luke.

Why does it always have to happen to me?

I remembered what Percy and Hazel had told me.

He's a player.

He's easy at breaking a girl's heart.
