Anthony POV

Annabeth, Percy, and I all walk into Classical Studies. It was this or Choir and I can't sing to save my life. Luckily Annabeth had this class too.

"Ok class. Settle down. George! Set that down!" Mr. Wilhelm scolded, "Today we are going to start our unit in Greece. We are going to start with mythology today."

Ha! My dad's Greek and always told me the myths as bed time stories, even though most of them were depressing. I'm so gonna beat Percy and show Annabeth how I'm smarter than him.

"Can anyone tell me some names of the gods?" Mr. Wilheim asked.

Annabeth and my hand shot up with Percy's surprisingly.

"Anthony" he called. I decided to only name three to keep it fair between us.

"Zeus, Hera and Apollo" I named.

"Very good! Percy, what about you? Do you think you are above this class and don't need to pay attention hence talking to Ms. Chase? Name some gods." He asked.

"The 12 Olympians are Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Ares, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Hermes, and Dionysus. And for the minor there is Hestia, Hypnos, Hecate, Iris........" he continued to name, not even pausing to look ashamed at being called out, and speaking very rapidly, "And then there are spirits such as satyrs, naiads, and dryads. Then there are Titans like Kronos, Itaepus,..... And then there are monsters like Chimera, hydra, Nemean Lion, empousa....." he continued to speak.

"That's enough. Thank you." Mr. Wilhelm cut him off after a few minutes, looking slightly taken aback. Regaining his composure, he then asked, "Who knows what each Olympian was for?"

Again it was Percy, Annabeth, and my hands shooting up. This time he called Annabeth and she started listing them but I just stared at her, overwhelmed by her beauty. She spoke with so much confidence which was great but once we started dating she needed to wear more makeup and maybe change her fashion style and—

"Anthony! Man! Mr. Wilhelm's giving out a pop quiz!" Percy said snapping me out of my daydream. I wanted to glare at him for cutting my dream short but I still need to act like his friend to get info on Annabeth.

"Thanks bro!" I tell him lying through my teeth. And I turn to my paper and see it's a fill in the blank. I internally groan and start looking it over.

I turned it in feeling pretty good. I wasn't sure for 8(a) but other than that I was pretty sure.

Mr.Wilhelm was passing back the quizzes and I was ready to prove to Annabeth how smart I was when I saw I got a 6/10. My heart fell and shattered like glass all over the floor. But then I comforted myself by saying, It must've been really hard I bet Percy got a zero.

But when he turned around to share I saw he had a hundred. How? He's stupid and has an average of C- that makes no sense. The bell rang and I raced out of the classroom not wanting to face more humiliation. I stop right next to a water fountain and look next to me. It was a poster for the Fall Ball that was in 2 months. I need to ask Annabeth for that but first I need Percy to lose interest in her making her feel betrayed. Then she'll be a damsel in distress and I would be her knight in shining armor.

 Though first I need him to get interested in a girl....hmmmmm... SOPHIE!! I know Sophie has been trying to date him since the beginning of the year. Now time to talk to Sophie and start scheming.....

Was this really bad: yes.

Did I write half the chapter 3 weeks ago and give up until someone convinced me otherwise: yes. 

Is it really short: yes and I apologize for that
