Piper's pov

I wake up and light shone through my window. The clock read ten o'clock, and Jason is still sound asleep. I wonder if anyone else is up, and decided that Katie and Annabeth probably up by now, seeing as they're pregnant and can't do what the rest of us did...if you know what I mean...wink wink. I climb out of bed and pull on some clothes, then head downstairs to the kitchen. Both of Katie and Annabeth are sitting on little stools in front of a counter, talking softly. I slide into one across from them.

"Hey, guys."

"Hey Pipes. Did you have a fun night?" Annabeth asks innocently.

I redden, knowing what she's getting at. "Yes, Annabeth. I enjoyed myself a lot."

"I wonder who didn't. I mean, Percy and I still—Hi, Juli!"

Juli walks in and interrupts our 'grown up' talk.

"Hello, ladies! Have you seen a kitty?"

"No, why?"

"Because we don't have one! Mommy, you said we could have one when we settled down! I feel very settled, thank you very much!"

"Yeah, Juli, but we might have to leave."

"Not likely," says Leo as he walks in.

"Care to explain?"

"Not really." We all glare at him. "It's like the Argo II! You know, monsters couldn't smell us? Well, same here!"

"Oh."

"Cool."

"Interesting."

"KITTY!"

"Okay, Juli. We can go to the pet store later."

"YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY! I can have a kitty, I can have a kitty, I can have a kitty!" Juli sang as she ran out. A few minutes later Percy came through the door, walking oddly and slowly.

"Get these munchkins away from me!" He growled. I looked at his feet and saw Juli and Justin sitting in his feet and holding onto his leg. They giggled when he called them munchkins.

"You sound grumpy," Annabeth remarks.

"You would be too if you were woken up by 2 very hyper munchkins!" He shakes his legs and they both fall off, giggling. Percy walks out, followed by the pair.

Jason enters and sits next to me, his arm sliding around my waist.

"Was Percy grumpy?"

"Yeah, the kids have taken an unusual interest in him."<br>"That's because I said, 'Wouldn't it be fun if you hung on Percy and never let go?'

They are up to the challenge."

Percy walks back in, with Juli sitting on one shoulder and Justin on the other, both holding on his head with their hands and his chest with their legs.

"You know what sounds fun? A jump in the pool!" He exclaims excitedly.

"The pool is empty," Leo informs him.

"Not for long. You care to help me, Grace?"

"My pleasure." The four of them walk out, the small ones squealing, and the other two laughing. Soon a storm is raging in the backyard, and then two small splashes, then one big one. And lots of laughing.

The group returns, three of them soaked. Percy is still laughing.

"Daddy, I'm cold!" Juli whines.

"Come on, you can take a warm bubble bath!"

Percy leads his daughter away and Jason follows.

Soon the kitchen is full of people, and we make breakfast.

Afterwards, Annabeth approaches me with Katie and Juli.

"Do you and Justin want to come with us to the pet store?"

"Sure," I reply.

We pile in a car and drive off. Justin and Juli are singing softly in the backseat. When we get there, they try to run in without us but Katie grabs them.

"Slow down, kids!"

Juli picks out a gray kitten and Justin gets a pure black kitten. Both are girls, so the grown ups pick out a boy kitten so we can have kittens someday. Then we pile back in the car, the backseat silent except for the occasional "Mew!"

When we get back, everyone examines the kittens excitedly. Everybody loves the new additions to our GIANT family.
