Nico's pov

I was helping Will with James and Violet when over his head whilst no one was looking Casey gave me a thumbs up.

It was like she knew and she was being that friend that is one that picture that goes like, when you see your friend talking to there crush, yes she did that she knew it was in the books, but how they were all in Percy's point of view how, I don't get it.

I'll have to talk to her about it later.

Casey's pov

I was trying not to scream of excitement that's when Violet sat up abruptly and said, "the monsters what was that?!!!!"

So I pushed Annabeth forward and she said with the mist, "there was an earthquake, you and James got knocked out, what where You dreaming? you were talking about snacks and monsters and so was James, but he was saying don't punch me."

"Oh ok," she gasped, "was anyone killed or injured badly!?  where's James is he ok?!" she looked around and then she walked over to and put her hand on his shoulder.

he started to stir and she said, "James, love, you ok? there was an earthquake and we hit our heads!"He opened his eyes and then said "gosh my head hurts it's like someone hit me with a brick."

Then I said to throw him off the trail, "ohhh that's why you were saying not to hit you and what not."

Then James said, "wow that was really just a dream, I thought you hit me in the head, it must of Been the pain in my head that I thought someone hurt me."

Then we headed out to meet the police that responded to the scene of the earthquake.
Percy kept mumbling under his breath, "break my new house...then lie to police...great planning."

Then we saw a man, an officer if you wanna be correct. Then he said, "in a minute I have to cheak to see if someone died, I'll get back to you unless someone you know is dead." I shook my head quickly side to side twice.

Then Percy said to Annabeth "0k long day I'm gonna go inside and see if I can get my house fixed. you can go find something to eat with The other girls." then he headed inside and I grabbed Nancy and Violet then headed to the place to eat.

Before we went to do that we had to go to my house and pick out clothes. We got in the car and Nancy said, "come on let's go to Casey's and Violets to get new clothes on you need to get that—What is that? Brisket—of your shirt."

I licked my shirt and I was not happy I expressed it when I said "ahhwww come on this was my Kaz shirt! brisket doesn't come out easily."

Nancy asked me, "how do you even know that, I've never seen you celebrate Hanukkah or something like that."

I replied with, "my dad was jewish and his family still is, so when I was younger and around my dads side of the family I spilled some brisket and it was not easy to get out."

"And if you couldn't tell my last name was a very Jewish name."

Annabeth said "so what was your moms last name was she Jewish as well."
"No My mom was Catholic, Kerry Ann Hotham
And she named me Casey Jae, after my great grandfather Constantine John, and she has been cursing herself for naming me with his stubborn initials, she nicknamed me after him to she calls me gussy, because when he was in school he had a accent that made his name sound kind of like a Augustus and his teacher thought that's what he said his name was so she called him Gus."

"Oh," Nancy said, "I don't know what to make of that."
"Neither do I, but I said it and I'm going to go with it, like the fact that my great grandfather didn't have a middle name so when he came to the Country and they asked for his middle name, he said, "I don't have one." the woman said, "well you have to have one." and he turned to the man behind him and asked his name and the man said his name was Thomas so he turned back around and said, my middle name is Thomas."

It was silent for a minute and I got bored so I started to talk about my grandfather, "Oh and my grandfather was born on Friday the 13th so people called him Lucky."

"Oh... my grandpa was a chiropractor." Nancy said as we made small talk about our family Annabeth said, "my cousin bears a resemblance to Kurt Cobain." I said, "I know."

When we got to my house I went up to my room and put on a t-shirt with all the walls in Attack on Titan, started a wash and walked down stairs, and then we decided to walk to the park because there was one two minutes away.

there was a girl there with spiky black hair and blue streaks that had jeans and a shirt that said death to Barbie.

This was Thaila, and I was about to freak out.

she was cleaning a bow and Arrows it was so her, definitely and It was confirmed when she saw us and said standing up, "Annie there you are!"

they hugged I jumped up and down, up and down, up an down until I was right as Bob, do you know Bob and Larry from veggieTales?

Nancy said, "whose she?" and I said, "seriously read the books! it's not that hard become a fangirl it will turn your life until your heart dies when a character dies... oh and that's Thaila Grace, but she doesn't use her last name so it's just Thaila some people call her Pinecone face, but you don't know her that well."

Thaila looked at me and said, "How do you know so much." Annabeth said, "Hey Nancy, Violet is that James, Percy, Grover and Nico? go get them please for me would you?"

when they left Annabeth said, "ok here's the stitch Casey is a mortal who has books about us she knows our past, present, and future, she is my friend, and James and Violet don't know about the demigod stuff, because when they saw we were fighting a monster Violet passed out and she threw what we Think is a brisket at James' head and knocked him out, then she had Percy make a earth quake and destroy his house to confuse them we'll talk about this later."

She said this all faster than five seconds and didn't even look winded, to tell you the truth I was impressed and happy she made a reference maybe she could be a fangirl!
