Sequel to Percabeth at Goode!
{Percy}
I woke up and started thinking about packing my bags for Goode. We'd be leaving tomorrow.
The people going with us were Me, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Nico, Clarisse, Leo, Thalia, Reyna, and Octavian.
Last time it was just me, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Nico, Clarisse, and Leo.
To say the least, Thalia was grossed out. She was saying there would be too much kissing, slow dancing, and too many boys in general.
I was worried about Octavian making everybody miserable.
Everybody was excited. Especially Leo, since he hadn't seen Kelsey in a few months. He was ecstatic, and almost burnt down his cabin.
Looking back on the summer as I put my socks on as I sat up in bed, we'd had a great time. Capture the flag, roasting marshmallows, making s'mores, the chariot races, the kisses, the hugs, and all the meals we ate and snuck off together afterwords.
"Ow!" I said as I hit my head on the top of the bunk. "What a great way to start off my year," I muttered as I rubbed the place.
I looked at everything littered on my floor.
I guess I might as well start now. I bent down and scooped up some dirty socks off the floor and threw them in the dirty clothes basket. Yeah, all my clean clothes were in my drawers, but usually I didn't bother with throwing my dirty clothes in the dirty clothes basket.
A knock on my cabin door signaled someone was outside and I yelled, "COME IN!"
The door swung open. I was surprised to see Grover. "Blah-ah-ah!" He bleated. We met each other at a friendly hug. I hadn't seen Grover in a year, because he wasn't at camp for the summer. We'd just talked to each other through our empathy link when we had problems.
"I haven't seen you in forever!" I say. Grover's horns had grown a little, now looking to be the size of a young adult Satyr.
"Came to help you pack," Grover said. "I figured your cabin would be a mess."
"If you can get up all the clothes and armor off the floor, I can pack easier. Not like I even need to pack. We have everything we need in the penthouse." I shrug. "I'm just glad I haven't received any text from Carey since the whole potion thing.
"Yeah." Grover said. He had heard me tell the whole story to him in a dream.
"Yeah." I say dryly. I just hoped Carey would leave me alone.
"Don't cause too much. You guys know you can take them down. Don't get in trouble, let it roll off your shoulders," Grover suggested.
"No, I'm not worried about girl drama. I'm worried about Octavian drama." I shrugged.
"That's pretty good to be worried about. After all Octavian is a bitch!" Grover bleated. "Blah-ah-ah-ah, excuse my language!"
"Haha," I laughed.
Then Annabeth came in. She walked up to me, and I hugged her and kissed her.
"Ready to go?" She asked.
"I'll finish cleaning," Grover said.
I hugged Grover and we left, leaving Grover wondering where the heck to start.
"Hey," Annabeth smiled. "Year 2."
"Yeah. Just hoping we don't have any more drama." I say.
"Whatever the gods throw at us, we can take," she said confidently.
"Annabeth," I warn. "I wouldn't."
"Maybe you wouldn't," she said. "But I would."
"I'm just warning you. I don't want to lose you." I say.
"Don't worry about it." She said.
I kissed her, a proper kiss as we climbed Half-Blood Hill, argus waiting at the top in the van.
Octavian was up there, looking down at Camp Half-Blood with a scowl, as if it was under his level, as if Greeks were puny.
"Let's go," Thalia said as everybody jumped in and shut the doors.
The drive was yet again long, and not a lot was said. I scrolled through Instagram, and did my #wcw. After all, it was Wednesday. We started school this Monday, plenty of time to settle in.
What I'd heard was that the gods added another floor below ours for the new demigods who would go to Goode. There was a staircase in the Living Area. So that was pretty cool I guess.
Finally we pulled into the city, and the lady at the front desk welcomed us back.
I grinned as the elevator television warning us to hold on came up.
Then we shot up at the speed of lightning. Thalia didn't fall, but Octavian hit the ground hard, and Reyna fell down on top of him.
"Ow!" Octavian complained as the elevator came to a halt. He stepped out on his floor, and barfed all over the place. He sat down and weezed, but all too soon he complaining started. "Why did the gods make us go so fast? God do they expect us to do this 2 and 3 times a day?"
Then I said, "we did it 2 and 3 times a day. Suck it up, Princess." Good thing we weren't on this floor. We went up another floor.
Hey guys! Ok so apparently there was a typo on the airing date! It was supposed to say the 31st, so I'm very sorry! I forgot to reread it, silly me. Sorry if you were annoyed.
