Singto clutched onto his side bag as he walked into the driveway of the house. His jaws instantly clenched when he found a smirking figure leaning at the door, staring his way.

"Idiot," Singto mumbled, glaring at the man's way.

"You're three minutes late," Krist pointed a finger at the other man.

Singto rolled his eyes, stopping himself a few foot away from the officer.

"I don't have control over the traffic."

Krist instantly smiled, chuckling he shook his head. "I love it when you're annoyed. Now, come inside."

Singto had his mouth wide open at what the other said, watching Krist walk into the house as if he didn't say something soo ridiculous.

"Is he out of his mind or what?" Singto massaged his temples, he was already getting a headache and he doesn't know how he's going to manage babysitting a five-year-old kid for the whole day, or worse for a whole week!

"Are you going to stand there like that? I have to go for work and my timing is sharp!"

Singto bit his inner cheek, stopping himself from screaming at the male who just smirked his way.

"Bastard!" Singto hissed under his breath.

"I'm older than you! Give that respect, baby!" Krist shouted from inside making Singto pull his hair in frustration.

Of course, he knew the other was older than him, he was just 25 and he knows the other male might be close to his 30s even if he doesn't look so. Don't tell the other that he told that.

Removing his footwear, he walked into the big, two-storeyed house. To say that he wasn't in awe at the house would be an understatement. The house looked soo beautiful, inside-out. A combination of white and grey, with wooden textured walls. As he walked inside he could see a glass wall at the other side and taking a peek, stretching on his heels to check what was beyond the glass wall, his eyes widened when he saw a beautiful pool, they even had a small dining table near the it.

It was his first time to enter a house soo big and beautiful. And he felt awkward too. He had only stayed in a single room apartment these years. It was new to him.

"You've got the whole day to check around Mr Prachaya, now come help me wake Sophi."

Singto cursed himself for getting caught, he turned his face towards Krist who pointed towards the stairs. Singto raised his eyebrows, pointing at himself in confusion. Singto gulped when Krist nodded his head, folding his hands against his chest.

"Come on, Singto." Krist smiled, loving the way how the other was blushing. He doesn't know why he was blushing, but he loved the view.

Biting his lips Singto took off his side bag and placed it on the nearby sofa. Nervously he made his way up the stairs, and Krist soon followed him.

Singto stole glances at Krist who was behind him. He gulped, should he mention that the uniform pants Krist was wearing with his tucked-in white half-sleeved undershirt were doing things to him?

He shook his head, mentally slapping himself for thirsting over a man who he hates. Or did he?

"That's the room," Krist walked forward, towards a white door that was slightly ajar.

"Should I really have to wake her up? Can't you do that?" Singto asked irritated by the fact that he should wake a child up. It's gonna be a hustle for him.

Krist leaned on the door frame, his undershirt hugging his body in perfect shape. "Remember our deal, baby. You're her parent for the day, so this is the first step."

Singto clutched his fingers into a first, "I'm just babysitting her! I'm not her parent, ok? We're not even in a relationship for you to say that."

Krist smirked, taking a step closer to the other male. He watched as Singto's eyes turn wide as the distance between them closed, his smirk grew wider when the other took a few steps back.

The officer caught the younger shoulder and pushed him onto the wall, hearing a gasp from the male made him smile wide.

"You really do have a nice mouth, baby." Krist licked his lips.

"S-Stop calling me that!" Singto could feel his stomach doing summersaults, feeling a tingling sensation with the way the other was staring at him.

Krist bumped their noses, surprising Singto who gaped. "Why are you being annoyed with me? I'm helping you here."

Singto closed his eyes, trying to stabilize his heartbeat that was pounding against his chest like a hummingbird's wings.

"You're using me," Singto breathed out.

Krist chuckled, "What makes you say that? We used to meet eachother at the shop, we smiled at eachother and I know that you notice my stares towards you. The blush creeping up your cheeks says so."

His fingers made their way to caress over the other's cheeks. Singto doesn't know how he should be reacting to this but he doesn't want to decline anything.

"So, what's stopping you now?"

Singto gulped, bracing himself he stared into the other's eyes. Locking their vision.

"Because you're a police officer, and I hate them. And you have a daughter, I hate children too."

Singto raised his eyebrows in confusion when Krist burst out laughing. He let out a relieved sigh when the other pulled away from him, keeping a distance as of now.

Krist chuckled, stopping himself from laughing as he looked at Singto, finding the latter cute seeing how his face resembled an angry bird.

"We can change that, baby. Just wait and see." The corner of his lips lifted in a small smirk.

"For now, let's get Sophi awake." Krist turned towards the door, pushing it open as he entered. Not before pulling Singto's hand along with him.

Singto stood there dumb folded, not knowing what exactly happened. He was being serious when he told that to Krist and the latter just laughed at him and challenged him!

"Come on, wake her up," Krist nudged the younger's shoulder startling him.

Singto stared at the sleeping figure on the small white bed, with a soft purple blanket over her, a unicorn plushie tightly under her embrace. She had her hair braided messily, falling over her shoulder as she nuzzled into the pillow.

Singto gulped, looking up at Krist who waited for him to do something, he took a few steps towards the bed. Why was he even agreeing to whatever Krist was asking him to?

"Hey, wake up," Singto softly tugged on Sophia's shoulder.

"Sophia, you have to wake up. It's already morning. Hello, wake up," Singto groaned internally when Sophi just whined and turned to the other side, continuing to sleep.

Krist wanted to laugh out loud but seeing how helpless the younger looked, he didn't have the heart to tease him more.

"Are you talking to a robot or a kid? You really have a lot to learn Mr Prachaya," Krist giggled, taking few steps forward he sat on the bed. Softly caressing Sophi's hair.

Singto took a step aside, groaning as he watched the father wake his daughter up.

"Sophi baby, come on get up," Krist shook her, turning her around as he softly took her in his arms.

Sophia clutched onto Krist's arm, nuzzling her face in his chest.

"Daddy has to go for work baby, you have to wake up now. Or else I won't make pancakes for you."

"No!" Sophia's eyes widened, looking up at her Daddy's face she pouted. "I want pancakes."

Krist laughed, placing a soft kiss on Sophia's forehead, "We'll make some good sprinkled pancakes for Sophi, today. And in return go brush your teeth."

Sophi nodded, pecking Krist's cheek. "Ok, daddy!"

"Oh wait," Krist pointed towards Singto's direction making Sophia follow his sight. She perched up in delight, immediately getting out of her Daddy's lap she rushed towards the other male, hugging his leg.

"Uncle Singto!"

Singto had his eyes wide open at the sudden action, he looked as if he was mortified and Krist wanted to laugh.

Singto awkwardly patted Sophi's head, "Uh-Hey, good morning."

Sophi looked up and smiled, "Good morning! I didn't believe Daddy when he said you'll come today! Thank you, uncle!"

The male let out an awkward chuckle, "Yeah. It's fine."

"Sophi, go brush your teeth. I and uncle Singto will go make pancakes for you," Krist stood up, smirking the other's way.

"Uncle Singto won't go right?" She pouted, tugging on the elder's pants and Singto somehow found himself melting over those round cute eyes staring at him.

"No, he won't baby girl. Now go," Krist ruffled his daughter's hair.

Singto watched as Sophia walk towards the bathroom door, her palm rubbing her eyes, still yawning.

"You know how to cook?" Krist asked.

Singto turned his attention to the officer, "Yeah, I know. Not much but I know basic stuff."

"Cool, you know how to make pancakes?" Singto nodded, he was soon following Krist downstairs towards the kitchen.

Singto found himself looked around the kitchen which was attached to the living room, the news channel was playing on the TV and that reminded him of that fateful night.

"Do you mind cooking some pancakes for, Sophia...and me?" Krist cheekily asked, leaning on the kitchen slab.

Singto rolled his eyes, "Do I have a choice?"

Krist chuckled as he watched Singto roll his shirt's sleeve up and search for the ingredients needed. Krist told him that they had instant pancake mix, and Singto was more than glad to hear it.

The officer's eyes trailed on the younger's movements, the way how he held the bowl up to his chest for better access to mix the batter made him feel the urge to lock him up and ravish him.

Krist shook his head. Wait till it's night, Krist. Patience.

His eyes roamed over the younger, from head to toe. He was just wearing simple black jeans and a white shirt, with his hair falling on his forehead. But why did he look soo appealing in his eyes?

"How much sprinkles does she like?" Singto asked breaking the officer's thoughts.

"Huh? Oh-She likes it with as many sprinkles as possible."

Singto frowned, "She shouldn't eat soo much sweet, not good for her health."

Krist found himself smiling at that, he didn't react to it, just watching as the younger concentrated on making them.

"What about yours?" Singto asked, not daring to look up from the pancake on the pan.

"Huh?" Krist blinked.

Singto rolled his eyes, "You said you want pancakes, so I'm asking if you want anything extra on them."

A smile bloomed on the elder's lips, "No, I'll just go with the normal one."

Singto nodded. He watched from the corner of his eyes as Krist walked away from the kitchen. He let out a sigh of relief when he found him moving upstairs.

Singto turned the stove off, not wanting any of them to burn. He leaned on the slab. Closing his eyes tight.

What was he even doing here? Did he really come here because Krist threatened him that he'll put him in jail?

But was he ever afraid of that? He had no one in his life, no expectations. No one would ever care even if he was sentenced to death.

Then why?

Because you're in love, his rational side screamed at him but why didn't he want to accept it?

Krist was a police officer, and he was taught to hate them. And even though he knew that they were doing their duty but he had seen the same officers go after money and hurt innocent people. He doesn't know if Krist was one of that kind or not. But seeing how the officers had hurt the people in his neighbourhood, the time he lived as a kid, he was taught about how cruel and heartless they're. And that hate had slowly grown inside him.

He hates cops, so he hates Krist too right?

"Uncle Singto!"

Singto jolted up from his thoughts, moving his head towards the source of the voice to find Sophia trying to get up on the high chair placed at the kitchen counter.

Singto rushes towards her and helped the little girl settle down. Giving a shy smile at Sophia he walked back towards the kitchen and took the plate with two sprinkled pancakes.

"Is two enough? Should I make one more?" Singto asked, pushing the plate in front of Sophia who had her eyes sparkling at the sight of her favourite food.

"No uncle! It's fine!" Sophia immediately took a bite of the pancake and Singto didn't know why he was soo eager to hear Sophia's reaction.

"Yum!! Pancake is the best!" The little girl clapped her hands and Singto found himself smiling.

"Eat well," Singto leaned in to ruffle Sophia's hair before he walked towards the stove and started making pancakes for Officer Krist Perawat.

"My milk!" Sophia called out startling Singto.

"You want milk?" Singto turned around to face the toddler.

Sophi nodded, pointing towards the fridge. "I drink a glass of milk after breakfast."

Singto chuckled, "Ok, wait till this pancake is done then I'll get your milk." And Sophia just nodded her head with a dimpled smile.

"Daddy!" Sophi rushed out of the chair as she saw her Daddy walk into the living room, in full uniform. Looking dashing with his hair styled to the back.

"Daddy's baby ate breakfast?" Krist asked out loud as he carried Sophia in his arms, his eyes on Singto who stiffened at the knowledge of his arrival.

"Yes! Uncle Singto made yummy sprinkle pancakes!" She said with dreamy eyes making Krist smile wide, his smile resembling his daughter's. And that didn't go unnoticed in Singto's eyes too.

"Here's your breakfast," Singto placed a plate of four pancakes with maple syrup over it. A fork and knife placed at the side.

"Thank you," Krist sat on the high chair with Sophia on his lap. Singto just shrugged his shoulders, busy preparing milk for Sophia.

Krist took a bite of the pancake and his eyes immediately widened, taking one more bite of it hurriedly," This is delicious!"

"I know right!" Sophia added, pinching on her Daddy's cheek.

The officer watched as Singto walks around the kitchen, making himself at home. Krist wished he could see this scene almost every day but then again he had to end the game he has started if they want to trust eachother.

He watched Singto give the glass of milk to Sophia and the little girl was excited. Sophia was practically in a very good mood today, not like the previous days that made him beg her to just move a finger while she's sleeping.

He never thought that Singto was a person who hated kids. For a person who dislikes kids, Singto pretty much was an outstanding companion to children. The way he talks didn't look like he was irritated at the children. But as he told, he'll be changing it soon.

"Thank you for the breakfast," Krist walked to the kitchen with his and Sophia's plates and started washing them.

Singto wanted to tell that he would do it but he decided against it. Let the officer at least do that.

Drying his hands on the kitchen towel Krist turned towards Singto who was already staring at him. Singto immediately looked away, feeling embarrassed at being caught staring at him. But he can't help it! Krist looked extremely fine and handsome in the uniform and it was the first time Singto saw Krist in them, the last time he saw him in the middle of the night, he wasn't given the chance to admire the older man.

"I'll leave now," Krist smiled, not wanting to tease the younger.

Sophia immediately pouted, "Daddy, don't go."

Singto glanced at the two, watching their interactions.

"But daddy has work to do, baby girl. I'll return home soon." Krist kissed her cheek.

"You have work at weekend too?" Singto raised his eyebrows.

Krist chuckled, "Yeah! We have to go, I'll be able to get a leave on a weekday."

Singto rolled his eyes, as if he cares.

"Ok! I'll get going! Bye, baby girl." He placed a kiss on Sophi's forehead making her do the same to Krist as well.

"Uncle Singto don't want kiss?" Sophi pouted questioningly.

Singto eyes widened, choking on his breath. Krist started laughing, "Why should I give him a kiss, baby girl?"

Sophi pointed her finger on Krist's forehead, "You always kiss me before going to work and you said it's because you love me. You don't love, uncle Singto? Daddy doesn't love uncle Singto?"

"Of course I do!" An instant reply came from Krist and Singto just wanted to bury himself alive.

The officer moved forward, Singto didn't have any chance to escape, he was stuck between the kitchen slab and the father-daughter duo.

Singto closed his eyes, feeling a shudder run down him as he felt a soft pair of lips on his forehead. A gentle kiss. And he found it hard breathing when Krist pulled away.

"See you at night, baby," Krist winked at him.

Singto turned his head away, feeling angry with the fact that the officer was pulling such actions to swipe him off the feet.

The younger watched as Krist walk away, Sophia immediately made her way to the TV changing the channel to her favourite cartoon show. His eyes then fell on Krist who was wearing his shoes at the doorstep.

"I'm leaving!" Krist shouted before walking out of the door, closing it behind.

Singto let out a sigh of relief, yet he made his way to the window to find if Krist had gone. He watched with a sigh as Krist sat on his black motorbike and drove away.

Singto clutched his shirt, leaning on the window as he let out relieved sighs. Now he can peacefully enjoy his day. Looking after Sophia won't be a hustle for him but if Krist was there watching over him with that ugly smirk on his face then it would have been another story!

"You know a lot about your mom," Singto stared at Sophia who smiled back at him. He had his head leaned on the sofa, looking after Sophia who sat beside him.

"Yeah! Daddy tells me stories about her and also grandma and grandpa! Even though I never saw her, I love her a lot! Daddy says she looks after me from the sky!" Sophia sat closer to Singto and startling the elder man she rested her head on his chest.

Singto gulped, not knowing what to do. He bit his lips seeing the smile on the little girl's face as she snuggled into his chest, her eyes on the TV screen where her favourite cartoon was playing.

The elder slowly raised his hand, softly caressing Sophia's head, patting it. He had never dealt with kids in his life so this was new to him, he just did things that came up to his mind. And the way Sophia acted around him made him feel comfortable too.

Sighing he watched as a dimpled smile formed on Sophia's lips feeling his hand on her head. And somehow it brought a warmth inside him.

It's not that he hates kids, it's more like he is nervous around them. He doesn't know what triggers those but he instantly gets nervous when around children, fearing if he'll make them cry or uncomfortable. And he portraits it as if he's annoyed.

But here, Sophia, the daughter of the man who completely changed his life, was trying to make HIM feel comfortable. He doesn't know what he should feel about it, will it be too early to say that he's loving the company he got?

"Will you be alone on weekends? Do you have a babysitter?" Singto asked. They had been talking about random things since Sophia started watching TV after her bath. And that included stories of their family and Sophia's mother.

Singto is glad to hear those, it gives him an insight into who Krist Perawat truly is. How his nature is like, and to say the truth the barriers he had put was slowly breaking apart.

"Aunt Emma babysits me when Daddy gets late from work and on weekends! She's our neighbour," Sophi replied, hugging Singto's free arm over her.

Singto chuckled, Sophia is really a wonderful child who understands her Daddy's efforts and never questioned anything. She knew how much her daddy loves her. Being a kid who has never seen her mom, she never complained about it.

He got to know that Sophia's mom passed away after giving birth to her. Sophia even knew that her parent's marriage was an arranged marriage, that her mom got pregnant after two years of getting married. Sophia even told him Krist's age, telling she heard it from her grandma while she fought with her daddy to get married again.

He realised that Sophia was a very observant child.

And somehow what Sophia told tugged Singto's heart. He shook his head, getting the thought out of his head. As he had predicted, Krist was 31 years old and he realised that the latter was still very young when Sophia was born, being left alone with the newborn child and the news of his wife's death.

The latter had gone through a lot. Singto sighed.

"Uncle Singto?"

The elder blinked, coming to his senses. He looked down at Sophi who was staring back at him. With a blank face and somehow it made him nervous.

"What is it, Sophia?" Singto gulped when he saw the little girl sigh.

"Do you love my daddy?"

Singto's eyes widened, "What!?"

Sophia's eyes turned soft, "Y-You don't love him? Do you hate Daddy?"

"No! It's not like this-" Singto cursed himself, what the hell was he doing!? And why was this kid giving him a headache suddenly?

"But Daddy loves you," Sophia was almost on the verge of crying and it panicked Singto.

"What-How do you know that?" Singto gaped.

Sophia shook his head, "You don't love him, I-I thought uncle Singto love Sophi and Daddy."

Singto's jaw almost fell on the floor, he quickly cleared his throat and shook his head. His heart was almost ready to come out of his chest.

"I-I didn't mean that Sophi," his voice was soft, he reached his hand forward and took Sophia's small palm in his.

Sophi looked up at the elder man, her eyes wide and a small smile forming on her lips. The elder might have not noticed but Sophia noticed how Singto called her by her nickname, not like how he used to call her by her full name. And it made her happy.

She remembers her daddy telling her only people who love her and are a family will call her by her nickname. And that means Singto is her family too now, right?

"So you love us?" A dimpled smile formed on her lips.

Singto chuckled, his heart swelled with an unknown sensation seeing the little girl getting happy over the fact that HE, a nobody, loves her and her daddy.

"Yes, I love you both. But, will you promise me something, Sophi?" The little girl nodded her head.

Singto bit his lips, "Don't tell daddy that I told you this, ok? Don't tell daddy that I love him."

"Why?" Sophia tilted her head.

Singto chuckled, "Because I want to tell him that one day, if possible. Promise me, Sophi."

Sophia smiled, nodding her head. "I won't tell! Pinky promise!"

Singto giggled, placing a kiss on her forehead making Sophia smile wider.

"But how did you know that daddy love-"

Singto turned his attention towards the door hearing the doorbell ring. He glanced at Sophia who shrugged her shoulders. Chuckling he stood up and walked towards the door.

He glanced at Sophia who resumed watching the TV. Sighing he opened the door after the doorbell being ringed for the third time.

Singto gulped, staring at a young lady in front of the house.

"Who are you?" The lady raised her eyebrows.

Singto blinked, "Uh? I-I'm Singto."

The lady checked the male from head to toe, "Where is Krist?"

Singto frowned, "He's not here. He's at work."

"By the way, who are you?" Singto asked back.

The lady rolled her eyes, "I'm Emma, Sophi's babysitter and neighbour. I didn't know that Krist appointed another babysitter for Sophi."

"I'm not-" Singto stopped midway. Sighing realising he shouldn't really correct the other girl.

"Sophi told me about you, it's nice to meet you," Singto gave a small smile.

Emma nodded her head, "When Krist told me I don't have to come today I thought he would be home. Guess he's replacing me."

"Sorry," Singto bit his lips.

"Are you going to let me in or not?" Emma raised her eyebrow.

Singto's eyes widened, "Oh! I'm soo sorry! Please come in."

Emma eyed the young male before she scoffed and walked inside. Singto watched the girl with a frown on his face as he closed his eyes. Walking inside he immediately saw how her demeanour changed after seeing Sophia.

"Sophi! My baby!" Emma rushed to Sophia and hugged her.

"Aunt Emma!" Sophia jumped from the sofa and ran towards Emma, hugging her.

"Did Sophi miss me?" Emma smiled wide.

"No! Uncle Singto was with me! And he's really nice!" Sophia innocently said the truth without noticing how the other's face turned sour.

Sophia turned towards Singto who stood a few feet away from them, behind the sofa. "Where did Krist even find you? To replace me."

Singto was taken back by the glare thrown his way, "Miss, I think you misunderstood. No one is replaced. It's just, I-I'm a new friend of Krist, and I just decided to help him since I'm free today."

Sophia looked at her babysitter and her uncle Singto back and forth, not understanding why Emma was glaring at Singto.

"Aunt Emma, please don't get angry at Uncle Singto. He's a really good uncle! Daddy likes him and I like him too! Uncle Singto likes us too! He's really sweet!"

Emma felt an anger soo strong gripping over her system. She let go of Sophia's hug and walked towards the kitchen leaving Sophia and Singto dumbfounded.

Singto glanced at Sophia and smiled, "Don't worry Sophi, I'll go talk to Aunt Emma, you can continue watching."

Sophia nodded her head, smiling back at Singto before she walked towards the sofa and climbed on top, leaning on it she continued to watch the TV. Singto sighed, dragging his feet towards the kitchen.

"Miss?"

Emma turned around absurdly, taking a few steps forward to the young man.

"Tell me, who are you?" She glared at him.

Singto gulped, taking a step back. "I told you, I'm Singto. Krist's friend."

"Krist has never told me about a friend named Singto," she frowned.

Singto rolled his eyes, "Is it compulsory that he has to tell about every single person who he meets to you?"

Emma clutched her fist, "We're really close! And Krist talks about anything to me! And he trusts me a lot!"

"And what should I do about it?" Singto raised an eyebrow.

"Krist wouldn't ditch me suddenly for someone who isn't important to him! I babysit Sophi since they moved in here! And out of nowhere, Krist tells me to not babysit her and you believe me to just let go of it like that?! Who are you to Krist? He wouldn't bring somehow soo low-key like you into this house if there isn't a reason."

Singto gritted his teeth, he didn't like the way Emma was talking to him and he had expected the girl to be some polite young lady when Sophia had previously spoken about her.

"Listen, you better go ask Krist about it. And please, don't insult people like that. You don't know anything that's going on."

Emma gritted her teeth, "Krist never brings a friend home, he doesn't have many friends here. He doesn't trust any of them enough to leave them alone with his daughter. So you might be someone special to him."

She took a step forward, grabbed Singto's collar, "If you dare come in between me and Krist, I'll make sure that Krist will turn to hate you."

Pushing him by his chest she marched out of the house, leaving Singto gasping as he leaned on the kitchen counter. His hands immediately fixed his shirt. Trying to stabilize his palpitating heart.

He walked out of the kitchen, making sure he was fine and saw Sophia walking back from the door.

"Uncle Singto, she went away without even saying goodbye to me. I called her but Aunt Emma didn't hear me," she pouted.

Singto sighed, walking towards the little girl he hugged her. He needed that now, and he was glad when Sophia hugged him back as tight as he did.

"Don't worry, she's just not in a good mood. She'll come around."

****

Krist opened the door and was greeted by the sound of laughter. A smile immediately bloomed on his lips, kicking his shoes off, along with his socks he walked inside. Not forgetting to lock the door.

He walked inside, slowly, not trying to make any sound. He glanced at the living room and only saw the TV turned on, he chuckled taking a few more steps in the direction of the kitchen.

A dimpled smile formed on his lips as he leaned on the wall, watching the scene unfold in front of him.

"You naughty!"

Krist held his laughter as he watched Sophia touch Singto's cheek with her fingers that had chocolate smeared on them from the chocolate sandwich in front of her.

"Uncle Sing looks cute!" Sophia giggled.

Singto laughed, playfully pinching the little girl's cheeks, "How dare you!?"

Sophia laughed, the bite of the sandwich she took still in her mouth.

"Now eat you naughty girl, or I'll complain to Daddy." Singto pointed his finger from the other side of the counter, leaning his arm on the slab.

Sophia giggled, munching on her sandwich after she stuck her tongue out at the elder.

Singto just shook his head, turning around to walk towards the sink to wash the plates his eyes fell on the figure leaning on the wall. His eyes widened, his heart beating fast against his chest.

"Geez! You scared me!" Singto voiced out loud unconsciously.

Sophia immediately looked at the way Singto's gaze was on and she jumped out of the high chair as she rushed into the arms of her Daddy.

"Daddy is home!"

Krist giggled as he carried Sophia in his arms. And peppered kisses all over her face.

"Why is daddy late? It's Sophi's bedtime soon," Sophia pouted.

Krist pouted along with her as he carried her towards the kitchen, sitting on the high chair where she previously sat, he placed Sophia on his lap.

"I'm sorry baby, I thought I could come early but there was an accident at the highway and I had to go with others," Krist placed a kiss on her forehead.

"Accident? What happened Daddy?" Sophia asked worriedly.

Krist glanced at Singto who looked eager to know what had happened but as soon as their eyes met the younger acted as if he didn't do anything making Krist chuckle.

"Nothing much baby, two cars hit eachother and the good thing is that the drivers weren't injured much. Their cars are out of shape but the people are safe."

"Don't worry, daddy took a leave for tomorrow. I'll be there with you the whole day."

Sophia giggled, nodding her head. She moved her hand towards the plate and took the sandwich in her hand. She placed it near Krist's lips.

"Daddy already ate, baby. You can have them," Krist smiled.

"Have one bite, daddy! Uncle Sing made them!"

Krist looked up at the latter who immediately turned around and walked towards the sink.

"Uncle Sing, huh?" Krist smirked, turning his face towards his daughter.

Sophia nodded, "Uncle Sing told me I can call him that, like how he calls me Sophi now!"

Krist smiled, ruffling Sophia's hair he asked her to have her dinner, that he would sit with her.

His eyes occasionally fell on Singto who was extremely silent, he doesn't know what's wrong but something was bothering the latter's mind. Maybe because he is back home. A smirk formed on his lips, he shook his head.

"Singto," the elder finally called out startling the other male.

Singto turned around, "Y-Yeah?"

"Did you have dinner?" He gave a small smile to the younger male.

Singto was surprised but still nodded his head, "I and Sophi started eating together but I finished first."

Krist nodded, turning his attention to Sophi as she narrated how much she enjoyed her day with Singto. He could see from the corner of his eyes how Singto let out a sigh.

For the next one hour Krist was busy with Sophia as she didn't let him go after eating dinner. She didn't even allow him to take a shower so Krist removed his uniform shirt and just walked around with his undershirt and uniform pants.

Singto would occasionally glance at the father and daughter who laughed and giggled, Sophia was in Krist's arms as the elder walked outside beside the pool, pointing at the stars in the sky.

Singto couldn't help but smile, why is he getting this warm feeling inside him? As if the two people ahead of him was already a part of him? A family?

Singto shook his head, leaning on the island counter he watched the duo through the glass wall. Sophia's head was resting on Krist's chest and Singto knew that little girl would fall asleep immediately.

Sophia might be tired from all the energy she had used up that day. She was always active throughout the day, she even made Singto play tag with her.

Just a few minutes later he found Krist walking back inside with a fast asleep Sophia in his arms.

Singto stood straight, running around the kitchen and acted as if he was doing some work. He never liked working in the kitchen for long but this time he was glad that he could find excuses using this or a place to engage himself from his mundane thoughts.

Singto turned around, glancing at Krist who was already looking back at him. Singto tried to act normal when Krist mouthed him that Sophia was fast asleep before he climbed upstairs towards the little girl's room.

He turned back, busying himself in washing the dishes and cleaning the kitchen. He was nervous, extremely nervous about what is going to happen. But that wasn't what was bothering him, it was the mixed signals he was getting.

Emma's words were still in his mind. She said Krist didn't even trust his own friends with Sophia but why did he trust him? A thief at first with his precious baby girl?

Singto doesn't know what he should do. The fact that his heart was slowly pouring out feelings for the man was startling him. He was a nobody, Krist is a police officer. A high ranked at that. Sophia had shown him Krist's worn out police ID card while they were playing at her room, its expiry date to a year before.

Krist was more than he could ever think of. And he was a cop at that, he doesn't know if Krist was playing with him or the feelings he saw inside those dark eyes while he was working at the shop was true. What if-

Singto gasped feelings an arm circle around his waist, pulling him to a firm chest.

"What-" Singto gulped, feeling an object on his cheek. He glanced to the side and gasped when he found the mouth of a pistol on him.

"You're cute like this," a deep voice whispered in his ears.

Before he could react he was turned around, his arms automatically placed themselves between the two bodies. He gulped, staring into the dark orbs.

"You have been driving me crazy since morning," Krist smirked, caressing the younger's face with the mouth of his pistol, he loved the way the younger's lips trembled.

"You have no idea how I survived the past hours, if not for our chief simply asking us to stay over for random bullshit, I would have already had you in my arms," he moved his face closer, his lips almost touching the younger.

Singto didn't know what he should be doing, concentrate on the man who was practically devouring him with his eyes or at the pistol that was slowly making its way from his neck to his chest, sending tingles on the path.

Singto hissed, closing his eyes tight when he heard the first button of his shirt being torn off by the pistol, and many more followed as the elder's breath fanned on his cheeks.

Soft kisses being placed on his face, Singto felt as if he was ready to collapse, his hand on Krist's chest clutched onto the undershirt.

"You're sexy," Singto doesn't know whether it was only him or did Krist's voice turned husky?

He gasped, feeling the pistol stop just above the waist of his jeans. His breathing turning uneven as he felt the soft caresses of the object around his chest, down to his waist. He knew his shirt was wide open now, with the buttons scattered around the floor. Why did he have to rip them off? But he didn't care at the moment.

Letting out a sigh of relief he slowly opened his eyes when the touches of the object stopped. He watched as Krist pockets the pistol and started to smirk his way.

"Ready for an adventure baby?" Krist smirked leaning closer.

Singto gulped, trying to move away but soon gasped when Krist's arms tightened around his waist.

"You know that it's the deal," Krist moved closer, and bit Singto's ear.

The younger bit his lips in response, keeping himself from moaning over such simple touches. He shouldn't look soo pathetic.

Krist's hands made their way on Singto's bare chest, the shirt dangling on the younger's shoulder. He smirked when he felt the other shiver at his touches.

"You're soo soft," Krist stared at the younger's lips, and he found himself gulping thinking how the younger would taste under him.

Leaning in, he finally presses his lips against the other. Hearing a gasp Krist pulls the younger closer, his hands under the other's shirt as he roamed his fingers over the soft skin.

"Uhmm..." Singto found himself moaning as his lips were being sucked by the elder. His grip on the other tightens as he tried to balance himself. He was new to this, and all these sensations were driving him crazy and the fact that it has just started is making Singto's mind run wild.

Krist slipped his tongue into the other's warm mouth, moans slipping in between as he hungrily savoured the other.

Singto slowly started to respond, feeling the need to taste the other the way he's being savoured. His hands clasped on the base of the elder's neck as he pulled him closer, deepening the kiss.

Their bodies pressed together heatedly, breathing heavily as their lips hungrily moved against eachother.

Singto leaned in, sucking onto the elder's upper lip, the flutter only intensified in him. His heart pounded in his chest as his knees got weaker. He could only focus on how soft and addictively Krist had invaded all his senses.

Krist smiled, hearing the younger's gasps as they parted. He didn't waste time as he swept the younger off his feet and carried him in his arms.

"What the hell!?" Singto yelped, his arms wrapping around the officer's shoulder protectively. Krist chuckled, walking away with Singto in his arms.

The younger's eyes widened, feeling himself get carried. He didn't dare to look into the elder's eyes, his vision focused on the steps Krist climbed. He soon found himself entering a large master bedroom.
