For You - 3 (End)

Kongpob groaned, trying his. Best to open his eyes. He could feel a sharp pain from the back of his head but he didn't care about anything.

He could feel the bright light from the window caress his face making it hard for him to open his eyes. Flashes of the moments that passed came jogging into his mind and the first thing he wanted to know that his lover was fine even in his absence.

"The prince has woken up, I see." A deep voice greeted from ahead of Kongpob while the younger was trying to see the guy clearly.

Kongpob coughed, his throat was dry and he didn't know what to say or do. He looked at his arms which were tied on the handle of the metal chair.

"What do you want?" Kongpob asked the man who stood in front of him with a smirk playing on his lips. Kongpob coughed, feeling his words hoarse. He wanted to ask for some water but he dare not at the moment.

"Is that how you greet your Papa, son?" The man asked, he smirked wider when he saw Kongpob clench his fist.

"No father would kidnap their own son." Kongpob glared at the man.

The man shrugged his shoulders, "We'll I'm different as you can see."

"What do you want? Why did you bring me here!?" Kongpob questioned. So many emotions are going through his mind and he didn't know how to deal with all of this.

The man in front of him, Kerkkrai Suttilak, is his father who abandoned him at the age of 6. When he needed his father the most he wasn't there. After his mother's death, his father completely ignored him to the point that he sends him to an orphanage.

And now seeing the same man stand in front of him, he looked old than the last time he remembers seeing the man's face. He didn't feel warm as he was confronted by Kerkkrai like other children would feel towards their parents but rather than that he felt scared and confused.

"Well simple, I want your boyfriend. Dark."

Kongpob's eyes widened. He gulped, he was cent percent sure that if they threaten Arthit with him the latter would do anything to reach out to him.

"Wh-What?"

Kerkkrai chuckled, he pulled the chair he sat on forward. Coming eye to eye with his son he smirked.

"We need Dark, he's too powerful for his own good and people like me are finding it hard to survive in here because of your lover boy. And you're his weakness, the only source through which we can grab him."

"And you're using your own son!" Kongpob glared at the man, his nose drills flaring open as he breathed heavily through his nose.

Kerkkrai chuckled, "Son? You've been already deleted from my life boy. There's no son and father here."

Kongpob felt his heart squeeze at the words that spilled out from Kerkkrai.

"I never thought about you after I left you at the orphanage. Until recently when we got to know that Dark had a connection with this university boy who tags along with the Mafia leader most of the time."

"We tried to get you but Dark is smart, he had people to follow you around and it was hard for us to get a grip on you. Remember that time you almost got killed by a car?"

Kongpob bit his lips, knowing where the conversation was going.

"It's your luck that you just got a few scratches."

"Stop doing what you're doing Papa, please, what do you get from this!?" Kongpob shouted.

He watched as Kerkkrai eye a few people behind him and that's when he knew that there were more people in the room than he and his father.

"It's all power and money game my child, ask your boyfriend if you get a chance to." Kerkkrai winked at Kongpob.

"You can't do this!"

"Yes I can, and that's what I'm doing now." Kerkkrai chuckled.

"The news has already reached your lover's ears. I'm waiting to get a hold of the famous Mafia leader and his gang." Kerkkrai smirked as he watched Kongpob gulp, worry and dear clouding the younger's eyes.

Kerkkrai moved forward and traced his index finger across Kongpob's cheek.

"You chose the wrong path, my boy, just imagine if you hadn't been with that over-smart young man you would have lived a much happier life. Look at you now, trapped in his own father's plans." Kerkkrai smirked.

Kongpob shut his eyes. He could feel his eyes stinging from controlling his tears. He is just praying that Arthit doesn't fall into this plan and hurt himself, but a small part of him knows that Arthit will soon arrive to end this game.

"What!? Prae! Don't joke around!" Arthit's angry voice resonated the four walls of the office room making Prem and Knott who was inside straighten up.

"No! It can't be!" Arthit gripped his hair in frustration.

"Check our room if you can. There might be some reason why he left like that. And arrange for everyone. I'm coming at once." Arthit ordered before he cut the call.

"Prem, call Tootah and ask him to take over the meeting. And you guys come with me." Arthit's voice was cold and the two thought they were seeing Dark at the moment.

Prem and Knott didn't question their friend as they followed him. Prem called Tootah and informed him about Arthit and even the usually whining Tootah understood that there was something wrong.

Arthit got inside the car and asked Prem to drive them to their hideout. Arthit kept quiet and the silence was thick, anyone near the CEO could feel the wrath coming out of him.

When they reached the place Prae was already waiting with Arthit's mask and his outfit for which Arthit thanked ina monotone before he proceeded to the small room built outside the garage to change.

When he came out as Dark everyone could feel that danger was awaiting whoever has made Dark pissed off.

"Boss, I got this letter from your room. It's from Kongpob." Prae handed a letter to Arthit.

Arthit gritted his teeth as he opened the letter, hoping deep inside wherever his lover was he was fine.

Dear P'Arthit,

I'm sorry for doing this. I think we need some gap between us. Things can't go on like this. We're too dependent on each other and maybe things will be better if we try to stay away from each other for a little while.

You're being targeted through me P and I know it. You don't know how much it hurts me to know that I'm the bridge between you and those other gangs. So please listen to me. Let's stay away from eachother. I know you can trace me down at any moment but please P'Arthit, don't. Don't follow me. We need this

Yours
Bunny

Arthit bit his lips before he tore it into pieces and threw them.

"Any leads Prae?" Arthit asked, eyeing everyone in the room who was waiting patiently for his orders.

"We'll actually, I had placed a tracking device on his shirt before he left. I think he lost it after because when I traced it, it hasn't moved from the last location." Prae informed.

Arthit nodded, thanking Prae internally.

"What is the current location?" Arthit asked.

"It's a building in the south, boss. We have almost a two-hour journey if not for traffic." Prae bit her lips when she saw the older man clutch his palms.

"Prem," Arthit called out, he turned around when he didn't get a response to see the other man on a phone.

Just a second later Prem walked back towards Arthit, "All done, Dark. The police will escort us."

"Good." Arthit gave a small smile to Prem. Prae had already briefed Prem and Knott about what had happened.

"And boys! Take different routes to the location. We might meet them anywhere before we reach the destination and I want all of you to inform me if any of your vehicles are being rounded by them."

"Yes, boss!" The men soon disappeared into different groups.

"Sir," Prae called out when she saw the three men starting to move.

"I had questioned George and it's the south gang that's targeting us, their leader is K2. And it's their gang who took Kongpob away."

Arthit clutched his fist as he heard the name of the leader. K2 was one of the main reasons why Arthit's boss, RP, lost his life. Even though K2 wasn't directly involved in it he knew that he had a part in it. He wanted to take revenge but he had promised RP that revenge is not what they do and no matter what we should keep that word.

"Then, it's time we end this game," Arthit smirked evilly as he started walking away.

The whole ride was filled with tension. The police had escorted them till the main traffic signal, after which Arthit, or rather Dark, ordered them that they should leave to which the officers obliged without hesitation.

Arthit had received calls from his gang members who chose various routes that there were indeed men from the gang who hoped that Dark would pass by the way. They told him that they had shot them and some of them were also injured but weren't serious.

Arthit's car was soon pulled down not too far away from a deserted place near a riverside with boats at the side of the house. The house looked dusty and huge. No men were found outside but Arthit knew they were waiting for him.

Arthit waited for his members to arrive before they walked towards the building as if they owned the place.

Gunshots soon started to echo around the area and Arthit smirked as men after men tried to shoot him and hurt him which he defended from them very well.

"Poor things don't know what they're playing with," Arthit smirked, leaving some of his men outside to deal with the other gang Arthit, Prem, Knott, and Bright, along with other men walked inside.

The smell of dust entered their nose and it made them cough before they proceeded to walk forward.

Arthit shot who can from the other side of the room, they kicked and punched many before he and his men walked towards a hall room where he saw many more men around two figures in the middle.

"We meet again, Dark," Kerkkrai smirked as he turned around to face him.

"I knew you would come here for your lover boy." Kerkkrai licked his lips.

"Leave him, it's a game between us." Arthit glared at the man.

Kerkkrai chuckled, "Wow, straightforward I see."

"K2, leave Kongpob." Arthit glared as he saw the man holding Kongpob by his neck.

"Surrender yourself, then I'll," Kerkkrai smirked.

"No, P'Arthit! No! You shouldn't!" Kongpob shouted back, panicking whether the elder would give up.

"Shut up you brat!" Kerkkrai glared at Kongpob.

Arthit signaled his men behind him before he pulled out his gun from the pocket.

"No weapons for you my dear, or else..." Kerkkrai placed a knife on Kongpob's neck whose eyes widened.

"K2! Leave him! You have no right to do this!?" Arthit was losing his senses now. Seeing Kongpob in Kerkkrai's arms were blaring alarms all over his system.

"He's my son, Dark. I have every right on him." Kerkkrai smirked.

Arthit's eyes widened, he looked at Kongpob who was in Kerkkrai hold and he saw the latter nod at him.

"So you're the one who ran away from his own responsibilities of a father. Cheap of you." Arthit scoffed and Kerkkrai could feel his anger rise. Kongpob had told him about his father to Arthit earlier and now that he got to know who it was Arthit felt pleased.

"You!" Kerkkrai shouted before he sliced the knife on Kongpob's cheek.

Arthit's eyes widened when he heard his lover's cries and his whole being filled with rage as he saw blood dripping out of the slim cut on Kongpob's cheek.

"You!" Arthit didn't give the older man time to think before he pulled his gun and shit on Kerkkrai's palm that held the knife.

Kongpob clutched the side of his face as he was pushed away by Kerkkrai who was about to fall on him.

"Leave me!" Kongpob shouted when one of the men tried to drag him away while the sound of gunshots and cries echoed the room.

"Ah!" Kongpob grounded loud when a punch landed on his cheeks. He took all his strength to stand up and fight against the two men who were trying to take him away and at the same time hurt him.

"Kong!" Arthit shouted before he pulled the trigger but his gun was pushed from his hand onto the floor by the opposite gang member.

Kongpob watched Arthit and his men fight while he tried to defend his own life.

Kongpob was pushed into a corner when Bright stepped in between him. Within no time Kongpob was able to relax. But he felt his whole being shutter when he realized that Kerkkrai and Arthit weren't there anymore.

"P'Bright! Where is P'Arthit!?" Kongpob shouted, his face was covered with blood but he didn't care about it.

Before Bright could say anything two gunshots were heard from outside followed by a loud scream.

Kongpob rushed out of the building, trying his way to find the way outside followed by Prem and Bright.

Kongpob followed Bright outside and then they heard another gunshot making them snap their head towards one of the boats in the water.

"P'Arthit..." Kongpob's eyes widened when he saw Kerkkrai's lifeless body fall into the water with a splash.

Kongpob felt like crying as he saw the elder's state. Arthit still had his mask on but his jacket had cuts and he looked like a mess.

Arthit got out of the boat to the ground and stared at Kongpob.

Kongpob didn't know what to feel, Arthit's stare was indifferent towards him and he knows the latter is angry at him.

"P'Arthit..." Kongpob stepped forward but soon stopped in his tracks when he heard another gunshot.

His eyes widened when he saw Arthit fall on his knees, his hands clutching on his left shoulder.

"P'Arthit! No!" Kongpob rushed towards Arthit not caring the shouts he got from others. Soon another series of gunshots were made while Kongpob placed Arthit on his lap, shouting to anyone around to call an ambulance.

"P'Arthit! No! Please! Open your eyes, stay with me." Kongpob patted the other's face. He pressed his hand on top of Arthit's on his shoulder, soon his hands started to get bloody.

"I love you P'Arthit! Please!" Kongpob watched a small smile make its way into Arthit's lips before the latter fell unconscious in his arms.

*****

Kongpob watches the sleeping man on the hospital bed, various machine wires attached to his body and a large bandage over his left shoulder.

Kongpob's eyes were puffy and he could feel his whole body numb. All the memories of the day before rushing inside him. He himself had bandages over his forehead and Arms. While Arthit's operation was going on Prem and Bright made sure that Kongpob got his wounded treated even though Kongpob refused to do so.

Arthit was brought to the hospital as soon as possible, the doctors said that they were lucky that the bullet didn't touch his vital nerves. After hours of surgery Arthit was brought back into a room, his wound freshly dressed. The doctors said that the latter would wake up after the anesthesia the other would wake up.

Arthit had woken up in the middle of the night but he was still in a daze from the drugs that he soon fell asleep again.

Kongpob knows it's his fault, he shouldn't have made the choice to move out from Arthit. He should have given ears to Leave's advice. He should have talked to Arthit and solve what he thought was a problem between them, what he thought was not good for their relationship.

Over the few hours he waited to hear that his lover, his P'Arthit was fine and was out of danger, he realized that it was all within his head. That it was just him who was overthinking.

He was afraid of his own self, he was afraid of what-ifs. He was afraid what if Arthit was taken away from him and he was scared at his own emotions which were at the peak even thinking about it. It was him who was trying to control himself.

He didn't run away from Arthit, he was running away from his own subconscious mind and he needed time to register everything. The intense feeling and love he received from Arthit made him doubt himself whether he was worthy of it.

He lost his mother when he was still a kid and then his own father sends him to an orphanage to grow up. And his life wasn't easy, his childhood was miserable. At the age of 16, he ran away from the orphanage and started working small jobs, and stayed at his friend's house until he was of legal age to rent a place.

Life had always thrown him hardship and when suddenly Arthit came into his life and started giving him all he ever wanted, love, care, and attention, at first he was happy and he was beyond satisfied. But as time passed he started to doubt himself, he can never compare himself with Arthit. Arthit was such a gentleman despite what others see about him. And Kongpob feels proud knowing he's the only person who can see such a side of Arthit Rojnapath, aka Dark.

"Kong..."

Kongpob broke his gaze from the pale man and looked up at the source of the voice.

"P'Knott," Kongpob stood up.

"Eat something,' Knott handed a cover full of fruits to the younger.

Kongpob took it with a smile, "Thanks P."

Knott watched as Kongpob set the plastic cover on top of the table at the corner of the room.

"Kong, have some. Don't skip your meals, Arthit will skin us alive if he knows that we made you starve." Knott tried to lift the mood.

Kongpob chuckled, "I'll eat them later P."

Knott sighed. "Arthit will wake up soon, he won't be happy seeing you like this."

Knott watched Kongpob sigh. He couldn't help but feel worried for the kid, the kid loves his friend just as much the other loves him or even more. He knows he shouldn't think about this but it was for the best. He didn't want to see two people like them suffer again.

"Are you scared Kong?"

Kongpob looked up at Knott, "What do you mean P?"

"Are you scared that you know what our world really is now?" Knott maintained a straight face.

Kongpob stood silent for a moment before he turned around to look at the sleeping figure.

"I would be lying to myself if I say I'm not scared, I'm P. I'm not scared of the lifestyle you hold or the fact that my life is also in constant danger now onwards. But I'm scared to lose one more person who means the world to me P. I lost many in this short journey of mine and I don't want to lose one more. Now that I found what I lost, I'm scared I would lose him." Kongpob closed his eyes, trying to keep his emotions at bay.

Knott nodded his head, understanding what the younger is feeling.

"Tell Arthit to back off Kong."

"What!?" Kongpob's eyes widened as he registered what the elder was implying.

Knott sighed, "Arthit will listen to anything you say Kong. And I mean it, anything. If you ask him to leave this dangerous life of ours' he'll never think twice before he agrees. I've seen him suffer as he got to the position he's now at."

"We got to see a new side of Arthit after you came to his life, Kong. We've never seen Arthit's raw emotions like we saw yesterday. You're his life, Kong. He'll do anything for you."

Knott placed his hand on Kongpob's shoulder while the younger still stayed silent.

"Ask him to quit Kong, start a new life. We're here to manage it, we might not be as amazing as Arthit but we'll do anything for our friend. So tell him Kong, he'll listen to you." Knott patted Kongpob's shoulder once again before he left the room.

Kongpob stood on his spot dumbstruck. He didn't know how to react, he has never given a thought about it. He knows the gang is Arthit's life, his first baby that he poured sweat and blood to see reach this point. He knows how much the gang means to Arthit.

Kongpob's eyes widened when he heard the person on the bed cough. He rushed to his lover's side who still had his eyes closed as he coughed. He helped the latter to sit before he gave him a glass of water which he had already prepared for him. Kongpob saw the elder wince at slight moments and it ached him to see the latter so weak.

"Kong..." Arthit called out softly after he watched the other place the glass of water he drank at the table.

Kongpob didn't say anything, he just stared back at his lover.

"Are you okay?" Arthit's eyes filled with worry as he saw the bandages on Kongpob.

"You're the one who got shot, P'Arthit. You're asking me how I'm ?" Kongpob stared blankly at Arthit making the other bit his lips.

"I'm worried about you, you got bandages and I saw that they were harming you too." Arthit's voice was hoarse, he took pauses in between as he spoke.

Kongpob closed his eyes. "P'Arthit, can you at least acknowledge that you're a human too?"

Arthit's eyes widened, the strong gaze from Kongpob made him feel small.

"You're a human like me P'Arthit, you have feelings too. You're not a robot. Just because you're a big Mafia leader this fact doesn't change. Stop thinking about me and think about yourself!" Kongpob could feel his emotions that he tried to keep at bay resurface and seeing Arthit was hurting himself was paining him too.

"I'm sorry, Kong."

Kongpob's breath hitched at the statement. He expected Arthit to stay quiet or retort back, the latter had been always like that. Whenever he asked the elder to take care of himself he would give him cheesy lines and ignore them. So Arthit saying sorry to him was unexpected for him, and suddenly Knott's words ringed in his ears.

"I'm sorry for making you worried Kong, I'm sorry that I bought you with me to this trap." Arthit's voice was small and Kongpob felt his heartbreak.

"P'Arthit...no," Kongpob moved close to Arthit, held the other's palm.

"Don't ever say that P'Arthit, I never forced myself to choose this life. I love you and that's all that matters. Whatever lifestyle you have doesn't change our love P'Arthit." Kongpob could feel his eyes sting as he controlled his tears.

Arthit sighed, "Then-Then why did you leave me?"

Kongpob's breath hitched, he opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out.

"We shouldn't have met, we shouldn't have continued this relationship. Maybe it's best we stay apart, Kong, as you mentioned in the letter. Maybe we should break this." Arthit could feel his heartbeat fast against his chest. His lips were shivering as he tried to control his tears.

"Let's -Let's just move on Kong."

That moment Kongpob recognized what was happening. He shook his head, the tears that he controlled started to pour out from his eyes.

"No! You can't do that to us! No P'Arthit! No! I didn't start loving you to let you go!" Kongpob shouted but he didn't see any emotions on Arthit's face. But he knew the latter was trying to mask his expression. He was seeing Dark in front of him now and he hatted it.

"I'm sorry for what I did P'Arthit! I was having my own insecurities! Not on us but on me. I was afraid that what if one day I lose you? What if one day you walk out of my life and how would I feel?" Kongpob sobbed and it was breaking Arthit's heart.

"I-I thought if I stay away from you I would have the strength to deal with that. That I would gain the courage to face that phase of life." Kongpob bit his lips as he tried to control his cries.

He looked up at Arthit and saw that the latter had tears in his eyes that broke him more.

"But when I was actually away from you it pained more P, it hurt me more than I ever thought. Seeing you get shot ripped my heart. The fear that seeped into me was breaking me apart. I realized that what I did was wrong. I shouldn't have given up on you like that." Kongpob sobbed his cries slowly subsiding.

Kongpob pressed Arthit's hand, "Please don't give up on us P'Arthit. We can fight this. I won't leave you P'Arthit. I need you. When I finally received what I want, when I got I would never get through you, you can't take that away from me now. I want to spend my life with you."

"Where you proposing me just now, bunny?" Arthit raised his eyebrow.

Kongpob glared at Arthit and slapped his shoulder forgetting that his arm was bandaged. When he heard Arthit yelp in pain his eyes widened and he mumbled sorry to the other.

"You're hurting your injured boyfriend! That's so mean, bunny!" Arthit pouted making Kongpob roll his eyes.

"After all that I said you only got that! Shouldn't I be mad at you!? It's your fault!" Kongpob pouted back as he stared away from Arthit making the other chuckle.

"I'm sorry for not trusting on us Kong, I'm sorry. I promise that things like this won't happen. And I give you my word that we will be safe again and no one is going to come into our lives."

Arthit's statement made Kongpob look at Arthit's way.

"What do you mean by that?"

Arthit smiled bitterly. He took Kongpob's hand, his own shoulder wincing in pain but he held it in but Kongpob saw through him as he glared at him.

"I'm quitting Kong. You're important to me and if it means to keep you safe I'll do anything. Maybe I don't cope up with what I have now." Arthit smiled showing his dimples.

Kongpob sighed, he cupped the elder's face and stared into the dark orbs.

"P'Arthit, listen to me. You're not quitting anything and I won't let you do that. This gang is like your family, you've worked hard on this and family never gives up. Like me they're your family too, Prem, Knott, Bright, everyone is your family. You can't let them go away like that."

"You're going to continue as Dark and I'll be with you, till death I'll be with you. No one is going to change that. If it makes you feel safe I'll allow you to do whatever you want for me. I'll always respect who you're P'Arthit." Kongpob smiled.

"What did I deserve you have you Kong?" Arthit whispered.

Kongpob chuckled, he moved forward smashing their lips together. Kongpob tilted his head as he allowed the other to enter his mouth. The two sucked on each other's lips, roaming their tongues inside. Closing their eyes and melting into the moment. They felt safe and secure now that they have both of them with eachother. Nothing else mattered. They understood eachother and they promised to themself that they'll stay with eachother through the storms and waves.

Kongpob and Arthit pulled away as they heard the alarming beeping sound of the machine.

The two were gasping for air as they looked around the room until Kongpob's eyes fell on the heart machine. He bit his lips as he understood what it was. He looked at Arthit who was already smirking at him.

Kongpob knew the nurses would come any minute and he could feel his cheeks heat up.

"Marry me Kong."

"What!?" Kongpob's eyes widened and he snapped his head at Arthit, the machine beeping louder this time.

"Marry me Kong, I want you in my life. And I want to tie the knot with you. Be mine, my love. Marry me." Arthit smiled showing his dimple as I'd he already knows the answer but the beeping sound from the machine said sometimes else.

"Marry me Kong."

Kongpob bit his lips, trying to control his tears he nodded his head.

"Yes P'Arthit, I'll."

Before Arthit could profess his words of excitement the nurses rushed inside and saw the two.

She started asking what happened and Arthit shamelessly told what really happened, making both the nurse and Kongpob turn beetroot red.

The nurse patiently asked Kongpob to not pull such stunts with the patient as he was still under observation. The nurse told that due to excitement and immense happiness the patient's heartbeat raises and thus the machine beeped so she told them that don't give false alarms to them.

The nurse told that she'll inform the doctor that the patient has woken up and then left the room.

Kongpob glared at Arthit who smirked back as he winked at him.

Kongpob rolled his eyes rethinking whether he should take back the 'yes' he told earlier.
