Arthit leaned on the door. His eyes on the student who was talking animatedly to his group of friends.

He rolled his eyes, irritated at how nonchalant the younger man looked with his friends. What irritated him the most was the number of students giggling and pointing at the one particular boy over the table.

"Show off," Arthit murmured. Not leaving his eyes away from the particular student.

It irks him to see how much of a perfect student group those five are. Behaving like those who are extremely polite and diligent when in reality it's just all show-off.

Arthit glares at the students who approached the table. "Attention seekers."

"Arthit!"

The latter doesn't move as an arm wraps over his shoulders. "What is it Bright?"

"Oh! Is that girl proposing to Kongpob?"

Arthit doesn't know why but he felt a strong rage grip over him as Bright pointed at the group of students over the bench at the school cafeteria.

"I guess so."

"Woh! This is the third time this week!" Bright laughed beside him and Arthit could only shake his head.

"Leave that aside Arthit, you know how they are. That fool is going to reject her anyway. Let's have lunch, come on, others are waiting for you." Bright tapped on his friend's shoulder.

"Yeah, a minute. I'll join you guys." Arthit didn't bulge from his gaze at the particular high school student and the girl who was now down on her knee, with a red rose in hand. She's brave.

"Come fast! Tootah brought steaks today! I'm going to eat your part too if you're late!"

The latter just ignored his noisy friend as he continue to observe the situation in front of him. Leaning over the staff room door.

Arthit took a step forward, leaning his back on the wall as he stared ahead. The staff room wasn't far from the cafeteria. You could lean over the door and stare right into the cafeteria that was just a few feet away, at the other side of the small garden that separated the two areas.

Arthit rolled his eyes when he saw Kongpob gently push the rose away.

Of course, Kongpob would reject the girl, he always does. Soo picky!

But Arthit couldn't help the smirk that formed on his lips as he saw the dejected look on the girl who was ever so gently rejected by Kongpob.

Aw, it was such a pleasurable sight to watch as people who proposed to the boy dejectedly walk away due to the rejection. It was such a good sight to-

Wait a minute.

"What the hell am I thinking!?" Arthit's eyes widened as his smirk turned into an angry biting of his lip.

"God that kid is making me go crazy! That little shit!" Shaking his head in anger he walked inside. Ignoring the summersaults in the pit of his stomach.

"What happened?! Did he accept the proposal?" Tootah perched over the table, glaring at Bright who snatched his lunch box.

"Have you ever seen him accepting any proposals?" Bright stuck the fork into the piece of steak inside the beautifully set lunch box.

Arthit shared a glance at Knott who just shrugged his shoulders at him.

"Doesn't mean that he will always keep denying it," Tootah rolled his eyes at Bright who focused on the steak he was savouring.

Arthit just shook his head, chuckling. "He turned her down this time too, Toots."

"As always." Prem scoffed at the side. Scrolling through his phone beside Tootah.

"That boy gets lot more proposals than I received in high school!" Bright whined.

"As if you ever got any." Tootah rolled his eyes.

"They all are over smart anyway. Soo high of themselves. Whoever be their partners will regret it later." Prem sighed, shaking his head.

Arthit cleared his throat, sharing glances with others who just shrugged their shoulders, agreeing indirectly to what Prem voiced out. Except for Knott who silently sat back and observed the conversation.

"Just let it be. Whatever they do doesn't go above our heads. We came here as assistant teachers, just do our job." Knott sighed.

"Yes, mother." Prem rolled his eyes. The table soon erupting into a short laugh.

Arthit turns his head to face the door, trying to get a glimpse of the familiar group of students. He faintly saw the group standing up and walking away. His cheeks puffed up in irritation.

He and his friends joined as Assistant Teachers a few months ago and ever since they joined they had heard from different corners about this particular 'gang' of five boys. On the top list of the popular ones in high school.

And they heard a lot about them. Especially about Kongpob Suttilak, said to be the pearl of the gang. A perfect student, utterly handsome and a heartthrob. A typical popular guy at high school.

Arthit didn't give much care to it whenever he heard students murmuring about how handsome this Kongpob guy looked and how they wished he would be their boyfriend and many more.

That's until Arthit saw Kongpob Suttilak in person. Sitting inside the classroom, clad in crisp white uniform shirt and black shorts. Hair jelled to the side and a dashing smile displayed on his face. Eyes crinkling as he laughed. For a moment Arthit thought he lost his senses, his eyes immediately capturing that innocent face.

But when a girl walked up to Kongpob and had been overly touchy with him Arthit was out of his daze and was fuming. Walking into the class and introduce himself as the new Assistant teacher who would be present with them in class from the day forward.

His friends too agreed to how they feel about this particular gang. The 'know everything' diligent, easy-going students that they portray themselves as was standing soo fake to the group of Assistant Teachers. They heard from several teachers and students on how the group was like an expensive treat as they never let anyone a step down their status join them.

And that led to Arthit and friends (well, excluding their mother hen Knott) using most of the chance they get to tease or criticise the group of high schoolers. It was delightful to watch the change of expressions all over them.

Especially Kongpob's.

Even as an Assistant Teacher Arthit just played it, giving counters in between classes to tease the 'ever so perfect' group of students. He wanted all to know that these kids weren't as perfect as they seem, that all of it was just a show-off. And slowly Arthit was enjoying the attention he got from the students, or maybe one particular student. Those glaring eyes directed at him was just irritatingly.... cute? maybe?

But leaving that aside Arthit now thinks maybe he went overboard with all those teasing. As Assistant teachers, he and his friends take tutoring sessions too and few students from Kongpob's friends' group were there for the sessions.

And one time Kongpob was pulled to attend it by one of his friends and Arthit will never forget how the latter downright rejected his friend. Right in front of him.

"Kong, please! You said you need help with those portions. Khun Arthit will teach us, he's really good at it." Aim nudged his friend's shoulder as they stood in front of the bench at the playground where students were gathered up around the Assistant teacher.

Kongpob's eyes narrowed at the elder male who stared back at him, with a smirk on his lips.

"No. I'll ask my Por to help me out." Kongpob puffed his cheeks.

Aim rolled his eyes, "Come on, Kong! I know you don't like Khun Arthit but we can make this a time to bond? Clear the misunderstanding, right?"

"I don't have anything to clear here. He's just going to tease us again and I don't want that." Kongpob crossed his arms against his chest, unconsciously puffing his cheeks making Arthit stare at the young boy.

"Kong, come on." Aim gave his friend a strong look.

"No." Kongpob looked away.

"If he's such a smarty pant, he doesn't have to join here."

Kongpob snapped his gaze towards Arthit who smirked at him as he stood up, leaning on the bench.

"I'm not a smarty pant," Kongpob murmured under his breath. Aim just shot his friend a glare, motioning him to stay quiet.

"People here doesn't act like you, Kongpob. They know they need help unlike you who claims you know everything. So don't bother us and leave if you don't want to stay." Arthit pocketed his palms, crossing his long legs as he stared at the younger male.

Kongpob gulped, his heartbeat racing. He looked away, not being able to handle the sight of the man in front of him.

"I didn't say that I know everything, Khun Arthit."

The students around them shared a glance between the Assistant Teacher and Kongpob. Eagerly waiting to see what was going to happen.

"Oh really? Then why not push down your ego and join us."

Kongpob clenched his jaw. Breathing through his nose as he felt anger rising in him. He was getting upset as he registered Arthit's words in his mind.

And somehow Arthit felt his heart drop at each second that passed, seeing how Kongpob's face fell each passing second. That dejected look somehow brought an unsettling thought in him.

Kongpob turned on his feet, pushing his friend away who tried to stop him as he walked out of the playground. Stomping his feet.

"He's just soo habitual to showing off," Arthit remarked.

"Khun Arthit, that was rude." Wad stood up, giving the elder male an annoying stare.

Arthit turned around, "What did you say?"

"I said, that was rude. You didn't have to say that to Kong. He never thinks of himself as high. You misunderstood him."

Arthit scoffed. "Yeah, I get it. Maybe if he stops being the example of 'perfect' I'll believe that."

Arthit held his gaze high as he watched Wad walk out with Aim after he waied at him. His gaze followed the two students who called out for Kongpob's name as they ran.

He bit his lips. Was it too much?

And maybe, just maybe, after that incident Arthit might have tried to observe Kongpob more. A little more than ordinary.

But what can he say, he isn't ready to accept that he's at fault. He just commented on what he saw and observed. The way Kongpob was always too polite and had answers to everything you ask, the way the younger always gained immediate attention from others was irritating.

And yet, every time the younger's dejected face comes to his mind. It makes him feel guilty all over again.

The day went quick for Arthit. But it seemed way too long for him though. The fact that his days weren't the same after that incident with Kongpob disturbed his mind.

Ask him why?

Because those tutoring sessions weren't the same anymore. Arthit even stopped going for those because he could see how uncomfortable Kongpob's friends was with his presence. And he would occasionally see Kongpob at the other end of the playground, sitting alone at the bench and studying. And it brought guilt to his heart, it's the first time he had seen Kongpob alone like that.
Though it's partially his fault too.

Arthit just asked Prem or Knott to handle the sessions for him. None of his friends demanded an explanation for his weird behaviour. And he's thankful for that.

He isn't even surprised to see that Kongpob is avoiding him now. He noticed how Kongpob would immediately stop smiling when he catches his sight around him. And that hurts somehow. A lot, but he isn't ready to accept his mistake that he was just too quick in judging the younger male.

There were no more of those greeting smiles from Kongpob towards him when they pass by the corridors. Even when Arthit used to tease him back then, before the incident, Kongpob would be that polite student who greets his teachers wherever he sees them. But now, Kongpob avoided him at all cost.

Arthit realised that he hadn't given much notice to those small details of the younger male. He was just too focused to remove the so-called mask of the younger male. He just found the extra enthusiasm Kongpob held, and the latter's drop-dead beautiful smile irritating back then.

But as time passes he thinks it wasn't irritation. It wasn't hate maybe. But something...more?

"Arthit!"

The latter blinked, coming back to his senses as he stared at his friends who gazed at him in concern.

"What the hell, man!?" Prem raised his eyebrows at him.

"Did you even listen to what we asked you?" Knott asked, eyeing the fair-skinned man who surely wasn't concentrating on their conversation.

"Uh-I-I'm sorry, what did you ask again?" Arthit stuttered. Smacking himself in his mind for zoning out.

"We were asking you if you would like to hang out tonight. Have some drinks. It's weekend anyway." Tootah surely observed that Arthit wasn't being himself and he can see the latter looked disturbed. Over something. Or maybe, someone.

"Uh-I'm sorry guys, I don't think I would be able to join today. I need some good sleep." Arthit gave a tight smile to his friends who shared at glance with eachother.

Knott nodded his head. "We understand. We know it's been a hectic week for you. Take rest buddy. We'll catch up later."

Arthit chuckled, "Yeah. Thank you. I'll get going then, see you guys."

The four watched Arthit walk away to his car. Looking as if he was in deep thoughts.

"Do you think he's realising things now?" Tootah asked, his eyes still on their best friend.

"It's Arthit we're talking about. Might need some more time." Prem shrugged his shoulders.

"And what about you?" The three turned towards him.

Prem blinked, "What?"

Bright smirked, stepping forward. "I saw you with one of Kongpob's friends that day. What was his name again?" He acted as if he was thinking making the other two chuckle.

"Wad," Knott answered making Prem's eyes go wide.

"Yeah right! Wad! You were all being smiley with him." Bright wiggled his eyebrows."You don't even laugh at my jokes!"

Tootah scoffed, "As if your jokes are funny."

"Guys, it's nothing." Prem gulped, looking away.

"Yeah yeah, Arthit said the same too the last time we asked him about Kongpob." Tootah licked his lips, giving an evil smile to his friend.

"Oh fuck it! I'm not Arthit okay!"

"Yeah, worse than that."

"Tootah!"

****

"Aw, come on! Cat caught your tongue?!"

Arthit stopped in his tracks, gripping on his briefcase bag he turned to face the direction where the voice was coming from.

"Don't act too smart Suttilak boy! We warned you once!"

Arthit's eyebrows furrowed, hearing a familiar name. Walking closer to the dark hallway that led to the back of the school Arthit paused on his steps. Leaning against the wall that hid his view he took a peek, trying to get a view of what was happening.

"See Greg, accept your loss and leave me alone. It's just a game after all, why are you making a big deal out of it?"

Arthit's jaw clenched, hearing the familiar voice among the few students that hid under the darkness of the hallway.

It was past school time now and seeing students there was suspicious. Arthit has to make sure nothing will go out of hand.

"Then what's the big deal with you!? You love to be a hero, don't you?! That Khun Arthit was soo right about you, smarty pants!"

"Hey!" Kongpob's voice echoed through the hallway.

Arthit internally shivered, not in fear, but with the fact that his name was pulled into this. Students were now pointing at Kongpob using him. And Arthit felt really guilty about it.

Taking a deep breath Arthit took out his phone from his pocket.

"You always like to make us lose in front of others! I warned you last time Kongpob! If you don't let us win this time I won't spare you! Next basketball match will be won by us and not your team!" Greg towered over Kongpob, keeping their gaze unwavering.

Kongpob clenched his palm on either side, "If you want to win, play fair, Greg. A real winner is one who plays truthfully. If you lose even after giving your best, it doesn't matter, because you know you have given your best in it. You'll already be a winner there, Greg."

"Don't act soo smart, you!" Greg gripped onto Kongpob's shirt, Greg's friends around him laughing.

"If I see you in the next match I'll-" Greg raised his fist, ready to pounce on the other but Kongpob ducked his head, making the punch land straight on the wall making others gasp in horror while Greg groaned, holding his aching palm.

"You piece of-"

"Hey! What's going on here!?"

Kongpob's eyes widened as he slumped against the wall, making himself look small as he heard the all too familiar voice.

"U-Uh Khun Arthit." Greg's friends shuttered.

Arthit glared at them, crossing his arms against his chest. Standing at full height as he made eye contact with everyone in front of him.

"What is going on? What are you doing, Greg?"

Greg gulped, "N-Nothing, Khun Arthit."

"Really? Nothing at all?"  The elder raised his eyebrow, giving them a knowing look.

"Uh-Hmm we..." Greg trailed off, his eyes widened when his friends apologized behind him and immediately made a run to the back exit. Leaving Kongpob and Greg in the hallway.

Arthit's jaw clenched, his eyes on Kongpob who was hugging himself, not raising his gaze to meet his.

"This is a warning from my side, Greg." Arthit's gaze strictly on the boy behind Greg.

"Don't you dare lay a finger on Kongpob again. If so, you'll see another face of mine. Do you understand?"

Greg gulped, the elder's voice sending shivers down his spine. Kongpob on the other hand was dumbfounded, utterly confused with what Arthit had just said. He never expected the elder male to speak for him. And the thought alone made him feel butterflies.

"If you make a mistake again then be ready to get expelled out of this school. I have proof of what you were doing here." A dangerous smirk played on the elder's lips that made Greg's eyes go wide.

"I-I'm sorry."

Arthit sighed as he watched Greg turn around, taking his bag from the corner of the hallway and sprint away from the place.

A sigh left the elder's lips as his gaze turned towards Kongpob who was staring back at him now. The younger's face was hidden from the shadow of the hallway.

Arthit took a step forward, closing the distance between them. But Kongpob had other plans, he stepped backwards, not wanting to get near to the person who almost broke his heart.

Kongpob's eyes went wide as his arm was yanked by the elder male, pushing him to the wall, trapping him between Arthit's tall figure and the wall.

"K-Khun Arthit," a heavy breath left the younger's lips. Trembling and shivering under the hard gaze of the elder.

"L-Leave me." Kongpob pushed Arthit's shoulder but the elder didn't budge.

"I said leave-"

"Are you okay?"

"Huh?"

Innocent black orbs stared up at the elder male. Making Arthit go weak in his knees. Damn those eyes, it made him go jelly. The place where Kongpob's palm laid on his shoulder making the skin burn under the touch.

"Are you okay? Did that boy hurt you?"

Kongpob gulped. The concerned eyes staring at him now made him feel foreign to the attention. Made him feel things he had been trying to ignore. Don't Kongpob, you're still angry at this man.

"I-I'm fine." Kongpob cursed himself, he wanted to seem strong and courageous but his voice betrayed him by only letting whispers escape his lips.

Arthit smirked, "See, your over smart self got you into trouble."

"I told you I'm not over smart!" Kongpob glared at the elder, forgetting that he was an Assistant Teacher.

"Feisty boy." Arthit ruffled the younger's hair, making Kongpob gasp, frozen on the spot. Feeling a shiver run down his spine as he pressed himself against the wall.

"Be glad that I walked in or else we could see how you would get out with your smarty brains."

"I-I know how to handle myself," Kongpob grumbled.

A chuckle escaped the elder's lips that made Kongpob feel butterflies in his stomach. Oh, that voice!

"Yes, popular guy." Arthit leaned in, his breath brushing against Kongpob's ear.

Before Kongpob could comprehend what was going on Arthit pulled away. For the next few minutes, Kongpob was in a complete daze as he was dragged out of the dark hallway.

When he finally grasped the situation he immediately thanked Arthit and ran away. Feeling all the senses that he buried inside rising in his head. Clutching to his bag that the elder grabbed from the hallway for him Kongpob knew this will definitely lead to something else.

Arthit smiled, the image of the younger boy fresh in his mind.

"You're such a child, aren't you?" He shook his head laughing, getting inside his car after he made sure Kongpob was out of the school building, riding his bicycle.

Before Arthit could turn the car's key his eyes turned wide as a saucer. Realisation dawned inside him.

No

No, he wasn't-

He wasn't falling for that boy, was he?

"What the hell Arthit?!" The latter cried out.

*****

A wide smile stretched across Kongpob's lips as he picked up the cup of Iced Coffee that was placed inside his locker. He roamed his gaze around the locker hallway, making sure the few students that occupied the space wasn't looking at him.

He picked the small note that came along with the drink, his smile brightening as the sun when his eyes fell on the familiar handwriting.

Good morning, smartypants

Kongpob pouted, but he couldn't help the giggle that escaped his lips. Those words from that certain someone didn't make him feel what he had felt before. Now those words were similar to endearments for him.

Have a great day. Good luck with your Basketball match today! I'll try to come watch you.

-P'Arthit

Kongpob sipped onto his drink, trying his best to control his smile as he placed the note in a safe box inside the locker before he closed the locker.

After that particular incident a few weeks ago everything drastically changed somehow. Kongpob didn't meet Arthit for the next few days, it seemed as if the elder was the one who was ignoring him then. And it somehow didn't sit well with Kongpob.

Even though he wanted to ask about the Assistant Teacher's missing there aren't many people he could ask that about. He could ask other Assistant Teachers but they were Arthit's friends too and they were also a part of all those 'teasing' that was going on. Even though it toned down now, to none, actually. It was still weird to talk to them.

But Kongpob's concerns were answered soon when Arthit started to show up at school a few days later. Walking into his life as bright as the sun, just like his name implies.

There weren't any talks about the past anymore. It was as if they had solved what they had between eachother unconsciously. It was as if they were friends more than a teacher and student. Everything changed to the next level.

Kongpob would find ways to be near Arthit and it brought them closer too. On the days he has to stay back for sports practice he would catch Arthit staying back at school too, always fumbling with the reasons when asked. But Kongpob can say those moments brought them close.

They shared facts about themselves. Even exchanged each other's phone numbers. Arthit even asked Kongpob to call him P'Arthit when they're alone. And that fact alone had made Kongpob stir from side to side on the bed at night, smiling like an idiot.

And ever since Arthit got to know that Kongpob loves Iced Coffee the latter would treat him with those during special occasions. On the days when he has exams or matches. Just like today.

Kongpob was happy with the changes happening around them. It was warming him up. When the particular Assistant Teacher first joined, he had caught his attention from the start.

That soothing voice and dimpled smile had captivated him. Keeping him on the end. It's likely that you grow a crush on a handsome Assistant teacher like Arthit Rojnapath.

But guess Kongpob didn't expect Arthit to behave the way the latter did to him in the beginning. Well, he doesn't blame Arthit since most of the things the latter said had been told to him on different occasions. Through other students and a few numbers of teachers who thinks soo high of themselves.

Kongpob didn't think Arthit was someone like that. And his crush for the latter made Kongpob push away the negatives Arthit brought to him. He even ignored those teasings and remarks just so he could stop the hate relationship with the Assistant teacher.

He wanted Arthit's attention. But not in the way it was going on. And despite the huge crush he had on the elder male he started to get irritated, being told something he didn't think to be in the first place. He was just being himself, he stands up for what was right and it's not his fault that others think he's just showing off to get attention.

"Oh, the teachers are watching too!"

The unusual enthusiasm in Wad's voice made Kongpob turn in the direction his friend was looking at. A radiant smile immediately made it up to his lips as he spotted the familiar figure that stood with his arms crossed against the broad chest among other Assistant Teachers and some senior teachers.

When their eyes met Kongpob's smile grew even wider if it was any possible, and the elder male's dimple was visible even with the distance between them.

Kongpob giggled silently when Arthit winked at him and gave a thumbs up, mouthing an 'all the best'.

When the whistle for the game to start echoed the basketball court Kongpob didn't have any other choice than to follow his friends. Being conscious of himself now that he knows Arthit had his eyes on him.

Kongpob's eyes met Greg's as they stood in two teams. He saw how the latter gulped as the those eyes flickered between Arthit who stood at the corner of the court and at Kongpob. The younger couldn't help the chuckle that left his lips when he saw Greg purposely ignoring him. Thanks to you P'Arthit.

The game went on with cheers and shouts as both teams scored points. And each time Kongpob made a score the younger would subtly glance at Arthit's direction and he would see that proud, wide smile on that face. Sometimes a smirk that would make Kongpob shiver in his core.

Arthit's mischievous eyes would always make Kongpob tremble with tremors of unknown excitement. Filling butterflies in him. Even when Arthit used to downright accuse him back then.

Ignoring that Kongpob was surprised Greg or the latter's friends didn't pull any stunt between the game like they would usually do to gather fake points. And he doubts if Arthit had a talk with the boy or not.

"That was awesome!"

Kongpob smiled in excitement as all their team members crushed themselves in a group hug. Loud cheers and claps echoing the basketball court as they won the match.

In the middle of great excitement, Kongpob tried to look past his friends to catch a familiar pair of dark orbs staring at him. A pout unconsciously formed on his lips when he saw Arthit's back turned towards his direction before the elder walked away with the other staff.

The younger let out a sigh. Not that he would be able to talk to the latter as much as he want with hundreds of students around them.

The day went on, and when classes were finally over Kongpob was able to meet Arthit who was sipping on to a drink outside the staff room on his way to the exit of the school building. A smile immediately bloomed on Kongpob's lips as their eyes met and he jogged towards the elder.

"Hi, P'Arthit." Kongpob gave a shy smile as he glanced at the staff room that was already empty and had its lights off.

"Congratulations Kong, I wasn't able to say that earlier." Arthit smiled, starting to walk. As if he was just waiting for Kongpob to join him before he left the place.

"Yeah, I searched for you but you weren't there." Kongpob shrugged his shoulders.

Arthit laughed, taking sips of his favourite drink. "I had to return for some work, kiddo.  But I saw you play, you did a great job out there!"

"Thank you and don't call me that!" Kongpob narrowed his eyes, adjusting his bag over his shoulders.

"Yes, big boy."

"Stop teasing!"

"I'm not," Arthit innocently stared at Kongpob, sipping his drink as they locked their gaze making Kongpob blush and look away.

"Whatever."

Arthit chuckled, shaking his head. Raising his hand he ruffled the younger's hair making the other whine. Oh, he loved to hear that voice.

"What are you drinking?" Kongpob asked curiously. His eyes were on the pink drink in Arthit's hand.

The elder looked down at his drink and then at Kongpob. He stretched his drink forward, "It's my favourite drink, wanna taste it?"

They stopped on their tracks as Kongpob took the drink from Arthit's hand, eagerly taking a sip from it. Arthit could only smile as he watched various expressions wave through the younger's face.

"It's really..hmm...sweet," Kongpob smacked his lips, taking one more sip through the straw. Unconsciously licking his lips as he passed the drink back to the elder.

Arthit gulped, his eyes trailing on the pink glossy lips of the younger. "Y-Yeah it is, I like the sweetness. It's a PinkMilk drink."

Kongpob pouted, nodding his head. "A little too sweet for me though."

Arthit smirked, glancing between his drink and at the younger male, he slowly brought his drink towards his lips. Softly placing the straw between his lips he sucked, the sweet liquid flooding his mouth.

Kongpob squirmed under the elder's gaze. Not knowing what was happening. The elder was just staring right at him as he sipped onto his drink and somehow Kongpob feels as if there's more meaning to what was happening now than what's seen.

"It is... really-" Arthit started walking, licking his lips, eyeing the younger. "-sweet. Soo sweet."

The younger doesn't know why he was feeling this but that glint in Arthit's eyes made him blush. Stopping him from staring at the man who looked soo attractive in the crisp maroon shirt and grey pants.

The walk was silent, just subtle glances and smiles. Both of them acting as if they weren't bothered with the other when they see students or staff that are still in the school.

"Uh-P'Arthit."

The younger stopped in his tracks, glancing at the library door.

"I have to return some books at the library. You can get going, P'Arthit, see you tomorrow then." Kongpob nervously smiled, not wanting to part away yet. Ever since they had grown closer Kongpob always parks his bicycle opposite the car parking lot so that they could at least walk to the parking lot together.

But now he had things to do and he didn't want to ask Arthit to wait for him.

"Aw, it's fine. I can wait if you want." Arthit tilted his head. Kongpob's eyes immediately catching the set of veins that bulged out on the side of the elder's neck. The younger gulped, looking away. Feelings his face heat up.

"N-No, it's fi-"

"Go, I'll wait here." Arthit leaned against the wall, beside the door to the library.

Kongpob blinked, staring at the man who stared back at him.

"Don't you want to go?" Arthit asked, biting down the smirk on his lips.

Kongpob cleared his throat, his face flushed as he nodded his head. He was thankful that he didn't stumble on his hurried walk into the library.

Arthit chuckled, shaking his head. How badly he wanted to hold that flushed face between his palms and kiss those lips that were being bitten by the younger's perfectly lined tooth.

He closed his eyes, clutching onto the strap of his briefcase bag. Images of the younger boy filling his mind. That innocent laughter and doe-like eyes always captivated him. It was just that he didn't want to accept the fact that he was falling for the latter.

Was it wrong of him for not putting a label on what they have? What if Kongpob doesn't think that way? What if he was just seeing things from his delusional mind? He doesn't want to make an embarrassment out of himself.

"Arthit."

The elder male raised his head, blinking in surprise as he saw Bright and Tootah standing in front of him.

"What are you doing here?" Arthit took a step forward.

Bright raised an eyebrow, a smirk on his lips, "What are YOU doing here?"

Arthit gulped, his mouth suddenly becoming dry. "I thought you guys left."

"What are you doing here anyway? you told us you had already left," Tootah batted his eyebrows.

"T-That I- Yeah, I'm waiting for Kongpob." Arthit couldn't think of any other excuse to cover up the truth.

"Now?" Tootah took an overall assessment on his friend, his eyes capturing the nervous hands that went to the male's pocket, eyes not meeting them.

"Y-Yeah. He went to return his books at the library, I-uh-He wanted to clear some doubts after that, so I just-." Arthit doesn't even know why he's being soo defensive now!

"Tell me, are you two lovers already?" Bright narrowed his gaze, earning a smack from Tootah while Arthit gasped. Tootah glared at Bright, that idiot had a very wrong way of presenting things.

"What!? No! It's not that!"

"Come on, Arthit. Confess it already." Tootah shrugged his shoulder. His eyes roaming over the hallway, glad that most of the students have already left school.

"Tootah! What are you saying!? There's nothing between me and Kongpob!"

"We're not blind our dear friend."

"Seriously? Why can't you just believe me?"

"Because you're lying! If nothing is going on between you two then why did you suddenly become diligent with your approaches to him? You both even exchanged numbers."

Arthit gasped, "H-How did you-"

"I saw you messaging him a few days back," Tootah crossed his arms against his chest. Tapping his foot.

"We know you Arthit, you just don't give random people your number. Let alone a student that you proclaim to dislike. We have been watching you lately," Tootah smirked watching Arthit's eyes go wide.

"T-There's nothing going on between us. He's a student, Tootah," Arthit gave a nervous laugh. " Do you think I'll fall in love with a student? Never! I'm practically his teacher! You know me, Toots."

Arthit raised his eyebrows when he didn't get any response from his friends who just stared right at him. Panic over their faces.

"Uh-Arthit..." Bright nervously pointed behind Arthit.

The latter blinked, confused, turning his face. When his eyes met Kongpob's he froze on his spot.

"K-Kong! I- I can explai-"

Kongpob took a step back. His lips quivering and ears ringing the same words the elder male had said, on a repeated mode.

He bit his lips, suppressing the sob that was threatening to escape his lips. Was he wrong about what they had? What they felt?

The younger didn't have the strength to look at Arthit anymore as he ran away, holding the tears that threatened to fall.

"Shit! Shit! Shit!" Arthit grabbed his hair in a painful hold. Cursing himself repeatedly.

"What are you waiting for, Arthit!? Go after him!" Tootah shook his friend's shoulder, getting the latter out of the panic mode.

Arthit breathed heavily. Staring in the direction Kongpob had run away.
