"You didn't tell me that y .ou know Arthit Rojnapath!" Laura squealed.

Kongpob sighed, "We just got to know eachother a few months ago."

"You're here with your friends too, wow! I didn't know you like amusement parks." Laura waved at Kongpob's friends who just smiled back at her nervously.

"You never cared," Kongpob replied before he even knew.

Laura's face fell but she soon masked it with a laugh.

"Anyway, meet Rian, my boyfriend." Laura pointed at the man beside her who waied at others.

"It's good to see you." Kongpob smiled sincerely but Laura wasn't seeing it the same way.

"Yup, finally with someone who could give me time," Laura smirked and Kongpob felt his throat getting dry.

"Kong?" Arthit slowly placed a hand on Kongpob's shoulder.

Kongpob bit lips, he couldn't look at Arthit at this point.

"What about you Kong? Found someone who could be with you?" Laura smirked, completely forgetting the rockstar that was present there as she targeted her ex-boyfriend.

"I- I need to go." Kongpob tried to excuse himself but Laura was not taking it.

"Hey! Don't go, tell me Kong. I want to know who that unlucky person is. I would like to give that person some advice too." Laura crossed her arm against her chest.

"Laura, what are you doing?" Aim couldn't take it anymore.

"Oh Aim, I'm doing nothing. Just helping out the person who had fallen for his charms. They don't know how disastrous their life will be with him in the future." Laura smirked wider when she saw Kongpob's lips quiver as he tried to stop looking at her.

"She's right, she had told me how her ex-boyfriend had treated her. It's better to warn his partner now." Rian wounded his arm around Laura's waist.

"See, even he agrees." Laura smiled.

Kongpob took a deep breath, he could feel the strong gaze from Arthit on his but he wasn't in the state to deal with it at the point.

"Laura, you're insulting my profession indirectly as you speak like this," Kongpob replied calmly, there was no use of seeking violence.

"And you already knew that I was a doctor and I had busy schedules before we dated. You wholeheartedly accepted it but now you're blaming me for not finding time for you."

Laura scoffed, "Yeah, I thought you would prioritise me when we start dating. But you never gave me time Kong, and you never cared for you! Have you ever done anything for me!? Nothing!"

Kongpob's eyes widened, "What do you mean by I didn't do anything!?"

"The four years we were in a relationship I always tried to make time for you! You were the one who was out there clubbing and telling me you were busy! I can't always go out of work as you wish Laura! You made me lose a patient's life! Do you know how much that hurts me!? Have you ever cared for me!?" Kongpob felt his breathing get heavy.

Laura rolled her eyes, "I asked you to come with me to an important party with my friends and you couldn't because your patient was important than me! Do you know how much humiliation I received from my friends?!"

Kongpob couldn't take it anymore, he would never forget that day. Laura had picked a fight on him when he said he had an important surgery that day, but Laura wasn't hearing him. She prohibited him from leaving the room unless he agrees. Kongpob was feeling lost at that time, either he should go with Laura to the party at the moment or rush to the hospital.

They both fought for almost half an hour with Kongpob trying to explain the importance to her. But it ended with Laura breaking up with him and Kongpob leaving the matter behind as he rushed to the hospital.

"Because of you Laura-" Kongpob pointed at his ex-girlfriend, tears prickling in the corner of his eyes.

"A four-year-old lost her life!" Kongpob's finger started shaking. Before anyone could speak Kongpob threw the ice cream in his hand inside the nearby dustbin and wiping his tears he walked away.

"Kongpob! Kong!" Arthit reached out for him but Kongpob was already far away.

"Don't bother him Arthit, I'm surprised you got friends with such a dumb person." Laura rolled her eyes.

Arthit glared at Laura making the girl gulp.

"Lara or Lettuce, whatever name it's, the person who just walked out now is MY boyfriend!" Arthit pointed at himself.

Laura gasped, "Wh-What?"

"Yup! You heard it right girl, and if you disclose this news on social media - I don't really care if you do or not- but not now, if you do then you'll pay for it." Arthit glared at Laura.

"And you have no right to talk about Kong like that! You just missed seeing the amazing side of his! It's you who didn't care for him when you both were in a relationship. You're the toxic one!"

Laura gaped at the rockstar, she felt her cheeks heat up in embarrassment.

"Now, if you excuse me." Arthit glanced at their friends who just smiled and nodded their heads before he left towards the direction Kongpob went.

Aim stared at Laura who was glaring at Arthit's figure.

"Laura," he called out making the latter turn towards him.

"I warn you, if you ever cross path with Kongpob with this shitty attitude of yours, you'll suffer." Aim glared at her before he asked his friends to leave the scene.

Laura groaned loud, stomping her feet as she dragged Rian with her.

Kongpob stared out of the window, his eyes fixed on the full moon. It felt as if someone was clutching inside his chest. He didn't know what to do. Everything seems soo confused. The little courage he had a few days back broken down into pieces just by a person who he tried to forget.

He looked down at his phone, biting his lips when he opened it. His heart ached to see the number of messages and calls from Arthit.

Its been three days since that incident, he had run away from the place towards Arthit's car and he broke down. All the emotions he tried to hide took a toll on him. But when he heard Arthit running towards him and calling for him, he had wiped his tears and without looking at Arthit he asked the latter to send him to his apartment.

Arthit had never been to his apartment so Kongpob had to show him the direction with his hoarse voice from trying to control his tears. One thing he was thankful for was that Arthit didn't question him, he didn't ask anything. He just smiled softly at him when he got down the car in front of his apartment.

Call me if you need anything Kong, I-I'm here for you

Kongpob felt a sob escape his lips when he remembered the last words he heard from Arthit.

He cried that night to sleep, called a day off the other day and it surprised others because he never took a leave unless it was for operations abroad or any other serious reasons which he would inform the department. But this time he didn't give any reason and the Director sensed the distress in his voice that he didn't ask him anything.

Even though he asked for a day off he did ask them to call him if an emergency occurred.

He received a lot of messages from Arthit, from good morning to good night, telling him to take care, call him if needed. Kongpob didn't reply to anything. He even received messages from Aim telling they were worried for him an especially Arthit.

Kongpob didn't reply to any messages and turned the phone off. The next day he went to the hospital and did his work, as usual, he found Arthit's car at the parking lot that day which tensed the latter. He worked double shift that day so Arthit would leave after he didn't see him.

The incident with Laura stirred a lot of painful memories in his life. He had dated people before Laura and they all left him because of his profession, telling he didn't have time for them even though he tried his best to. He was still an intern back then, there were limits to what he could do. And then when Laura entered his life he thought she was the one, he had the longest relationship with her. He always tried his best, made time for her but he had to sacrifice his time from her when important cases came to the hospital.

After their breakup, he had decided to not day anyone. He didn't want to ruin others life or bring more pressure to himself.

Until Arthit came to his life.

He thought the latter would leave him after each time he asked to postpone their dates because of his work. But Arthit never complained but still, he had that fear inside him and that increased after he encountered with Laura at the amusement park.

Arthit was different, even after ignoring the latter Arthit was still trying to contact him, asking him not to worry about anything and telling him he's always there for him.

Kongpob knew there was no use in overthinking now. If he keeps on ignoring Arthit both will hurt. He needs to confront him and give him the explanation he needed. Yes, that's what he's going to do.

Three days he ignored his own feelings and Arthit's, that's enough for now. There is no use in continuing his useless drama. Whatever the future has stored for him he's going to face it. If Arthit doubts him after he explains the situation then so be it.

Kongpob took his phone, wiping his tears and runny nose against his sleeve he called Arthit on the phone.

Kongpob didn't have to wait long, within three rings his call was answered.

"Kong!"

Kongpob felt his tears slide through his cheek hearing the relief in the other's voice.

"How are you?" It felt like Arthit was controlling himself from enquiring the millions of questions he has in his mind.

"Arthit..." Kongpob sighed.

"Yes Kong, I'm here."

"We have two more dates left, you know."

"Huh?"

Kongpob wanted to laugh at the confused reply of the rockstar. If he was able to see him he could see the latter's round black confused eyes and those pink parted lips.

"According to what you asked me, you have two more chances left."

"Huh-Ah-Yeah..."

Kongpob chuckled, "Are you free tomorrow evening?"

"Yes! Ah- I mean, yeah." Kongpob smiled to himself at how adorable it was hearing Arthit trying to control his excitement.

"Pick me up at the hospital?"

"Sure, I'll be there by 6?"

"Done!"

"Okay then, I'll hang up now. I'm feeling tired." Kongpob said, he didn't want to speak more.

"Yeah, okay. Good night Kong."

"Good night rockstar."

And Kongpob hung up the call. Smiling to himself he stared at the moon in the sky, smiling wider feeling butterflies in his stomach.

DATE 4:

"Where are we?" Kongpob asked when Arthit parked the car in front of an open-air restaurant, there were bass sounds heard from the place. He could see people dancing and singing.

"Well, I didn't have any idea to where I could take you to. So I thought I'll take you to my favourite place. When I was in university I used to come here with my friends, this was our relaxing spot. We still come here." Arthit smiled warmly and Kongpob felt his heartbeat fast.

"Th-that's great." Kongpob avoided the sweet gaze the other was giving him.

"I don't know if my friends will interrupt us or not, but I want to show you this place." Arthit chuckled.

"So, let's go!" Arthit took hold of Kongpob's hand making the other gasp.

Kongpob let Arthit drag him, he watched as he talked to the security guard before they got inside. It was a beautiful place, near the beach. It looked like a separate island for enjoying. People where singing and dancing, others were having their dinner at the tables and somewhere just taking strolls at the seashore alone or with their partners.

"What do you think?" Arthit nudged Kongpob's shoulder when he saw the latter looking around in amusement.

"This is soo beautiful, Arthit." Kongpob smiled widely making Arthit beam. He put on his mask before he intertwined their fingers and started walking ahead.

Kongpob looked down at their hands and couldn't help but blush, but there was a tight feeling in his chest. What if things end badly? He doesn't want the repeat of his past. At least not with Arthit.

He can see how much effort the latter is putting in to make him feel that he could give their relationship a try. Just think about it, the famous rockstar of their country is going around and pleasing a simple doctor to give a chance to their relationship.

"Stop staring at me, I won't run away."

Kongpob cleared his throat, coughing as he looked down being embarrassed for getting caught at staring the rockstar.

"You're soo cute." Arthit pinched Kongpob's cheek making the doctor gasped.

"Arthit!" Kongpob glared.

"Sorry, couldn't help it." Arthit scratched the back of his neck.

Kongpob could only shake his head. Even though he couldn't see the latter's face under the mask he knows that Arthit is smiling.

"How about we take a stroll around the area. I'll show you something." Arthit said excitedly.

Kongpob could only nod his head as he let Arthit lead the way. They were walking far away from the restaurant's location and there were only a couple of people here.

"Arthit are you sure we're at the right place?" Kongpob asked nervously, they were far away from the area and it was dark. The only sound was from the waves crashing the shore.

"Trust this rockstar." Arthit winked as he took off his mask.

Kongpob nodded, he looked around when they stopped in front of a rock barrier.

"Come on, climb."

Kongpob narrowed his eyes at the latter waited for him to climb with him.

"Trust me. It's worth it." Arthit smiled showing his dimples. Even in the darkness, Kongpob could see the excitement in Arthit's face and it made him happy.

Kongpob decided to give it a try so he started climbing the rocked with Arthit. It wasn't hard to climb, both of them laughed in between when their legs would slip a little. It felt like their own little adventure.

"Stop..." Arthit placed a hand on Kongpob when they were about to reach the top.

"Close your eyes," Arthit smiled softly. Kongpob stared at the latter confused but he nodded, closing his eyes.

"Now climb one more step," Arthit whispered as he snakes his arm around Kongpob's waist.

Kongpob gulped before he stepped on the rock. He could feel Arthit's hold on him and it made him smile.

"Now open."

Kongpob slowly opened his eyes and what he saw ahead of him took his breath away.

Fireflies where all around, flying beneath the rocks and the water was sparkling blue as the waves crashed against the rocks. The full moon sky was giving the scene more beauty. He had seen two or three fireflies when he climbed the rock but he didn't give much thought to it.

The sight was soo beautiful that Kongpob couldn't take his eyes off from it. He didn't notice how a wide smile spread across Arthit's lips.

"Did you like it?" Arthit whispered as he helped Kongpob to sit on top of the rock.

Kongpob nodded his head, "It's soo beautiful Arthit! So- so beautiful! I lov-"

Kongpob's breath caught on his throat when he turned his face, Arthit had his face near Kongpob's making both of them stare at eachother at the short distance between them.

"Kong..."

"Arthit..."

The two men gulped, their lips parted as they tried to speak.

"I love you," Arthit whispered.

Kongpob's eyes widened, the confession seemed to broke the trace between them as Kongpob immediately turned his face away from Arthit. His eyeballs shaking as he looked at the blue glowing waves that hit the rock.

Arthit suddenly panicked he crises himself for not taking control over his emotions. He shouldn't have said that, not when Kongpob was still not in his right mind after the previous incident.

"I-I'm so sorry Kong, I- I didn't- I shouldn't have said that! Shit! I- I'm sorry- I-"

"Arthit."

Kongpob's soft yet steady voice stopped Arthit's rambling. The rockstar blinked at Kongpob, not knowing what to do or say.

"I had been in relationships in the past but none of them crossed more than a year with me. They always blamed me for not focusing on them, they blamed me for my career. Telling I'm only good for looks and nothing else." Kongpob looked down at his feet, feeling the chill from the breeze spreading through him.

Arthit stayed silent, knowing how important this talk was between them. They didn't have any rules between them but as time passed, some things changed, and each other's matters affected one another too. Without any words said, deep down they both felt the need to explain themselves about the incidents in their life.

"Then Laura came into my life."

Arthit gritted his teeth, he didn't like to hear her name but he had to compose himself for now.

"We broke up two years ago. Well, officially we broke up two years ago but our relationship was off and on. It was only me who tired to work that relationship. For outsiders, my life is perfect, a famous cardiologist with a wonderful life but they never cared about the efforts I put in to reach this position, not even my lovers back then. At first, when I and Laura were in a relationship she always supported me. But as time passed there was a line drawn between us."

"She was never happy with my profession and my schedules. I know with my profession it is hard to get time for their partner, there might be times I would be soo busy and couldn't go home. I would be soo tired but she never cared. All she needed was my money and even when she asked me for her time I tried to find it. But when I'm clearing my schedule for her she takes me to some pubs to meet her friends and completely ignore me as she enjoys with her friends. And sometimes when I'm having the time she would say she's busy."

"Even though it hurt me a lot I tried to balance our relationship. We did break up a lot during the last year of our relationship but she always came back or I would go and say sorry." Kongpob sighed.

"But it all changed a week before our anniversary. She asked me to party with her and her friends. Telling everyone was coming with their plus one and she wanted me to be with her. I took an off that day but just an hour before we planned to go I got a call from the hospital telling my patient needed immediate attention."

"The senior cardiologist called me to perform surgery immediately. My patient, she was just four years old. I had promised her that she'll be fine and nothing will happen to her." Kongpob felt tears running down his cheeks which he immediately wiped.

"I told Laura that I had to go but she didn't allow me. She locked the door and kept the key with her, she scolded me for betraying her. Telling me I was making her lose her face in front of others. I had enough of her by then, I broke up with her the exact moment and told her to leave my apartment at once."

"I tried to get to the hospital as soon as possible but I was stuck in the traffic. My senior called me, even though he told he would handle it until I come I had this fear deep inside me. When I reached the hospital, everything came to an end. She- she passed away."

Kongpob covered his face with his palms, soft cries escaping his lips. He still felt guilty for what had happened, the crying faces of the patient's parents were still imprinted inside him. It hurt him more than any other cases.

"Kong, it's not your fault." Arthit wrapped an arm around Kongpob's shoulder and pulled him closer.

Kongpob leaned into Arthit's chest, crying away all the pain and hurt he was feeling. He knows he might seem like a cry baby but at the moment he didn't want to think of anything. He just let his emotions take control of him.

"You're a strong man Kong. Fate plays with us a lot but it's us who have to overcome it. You came this long Kong, Laura is no more than a person who just walked out of your life. It's her loss for not understanding such an amazing person."

Arthit cupped Kongpob's face in his palms and made the latter look up at him. Smiling softly as he wiped the doctor's tears with his thumb he placed a soft kiss on the other's forehead.

"I understand where your insecurities are coming from Kong, things are falling in place for me." Arthit smiled wide when he saw the small pout forming on Kongpob's lips.

"I can't guarantee you that I wouldn't hurt you Kong, I have my own flaws. But one thing that I know is that I'll love you with all my heart. Don't compare with those shit heads that you got into a relationship with." Arthit rolled his eyes when he heard a chuckle from Kongpob.

"As I said, don't compare me with others Kong. Have a little faith in us. I promise you that I won't hurt you intentionally Kong, every relationship has its up and down, we might face it too. But I promise you that I'll give my full to work out our relationship."

Kongpob smiled, feeling a weight being lifted from his chest. He felt that he could breathe freely now. Looking at the sincerity in those dark orbs he knew he did the right thing opening up to him.

"Will you give us a chance, Kong? Will you be my boyfriend?" Arthit asked expectantly.

Kongpob stared at the small smile playing on the rockstar's lips. He bit his lips a little before he closed his eyes and captured the other male's lips.

Arthit gasped, he held Kongpob's shoulder with one of his arms while the other one cupped the latter's cheek as he responded to the kiss.

Kongpob felt his stomach twisting in a knot, the warm soft lips that he was nibbling on was giving him tingles inside. He felt his whole body warming up, in contrast to the chilly breeze.

Arthit slowly pulled away, making both of them take in deep breathes. Arthit smiled when Kongpob's shaky eyes met his.

"W-Wh-What?" Kongpob whispered.

"You look beautiful."

Kongpob felt his cheeks heat up at the sudden statement. Before he could say anything Arthit captured his lips again.

Arthit's lips brushed the doctor's, softly, delicately, like butterfly wings, just long enough that he could inhale his breath, feel the warmth of his skin. He didn't want to pull away, the taste of those plump and soft pink lips was enchanting.

A soft moan escaped Kongpob's lips making the doctor's eyes widen. Kongpob pushed Arthit away, cursing for giving in to the kiss soo easily

Shit! That was just a kiss Kongpob!

"What happened in Kong?" Arthit tried to hold his laughter.

"Shut up!" Kongpob grumbled as he looked down at the shining blue waves.

"So, is that a yes?" Arthit snaked his hand around Kongpob's waist making the latter blush.

"I guess..." Kongpob bit his lips.

"You guess?" Arthit nudged their shoulders.

Kongpob rolled his eyes, "Wasn't that kiss enough as an answer? Of course, it's a yes dummy!"

Arthit smiled wide, his lips stretched wide and Kongpob stared at the dimple on the other's cheek making him smile.

"Do you hear that!? He's mine now!" Arthit shouted out loud to the sea.

Kongpob eyes widened, he immediately placed a hand on Arthit's mouth.

"What the hell Arthit!?"

Arthit licked Kongpob's palm making the doctor pull his hand away.

"Arthit!"

Arthit stuck his tongue out and soon both of them fell into a peel of laughter.

"Kong, give me your hand." Arthit placed his hand forward after they calmed down from laughing.

Kongpob looked up at the rockstar in confusion as he places his hand on Arthit's.

Arthit pulled out his phone and clicked a photo of their intertwined fingers with the glowing blue waves as the background.

"What are you doing rockstar?" Kongpob leaned his head against the Arthit's shoulder. The droplets from the waves crashing splattering on them.

"Announce to the world that I'm taken., Arthit smirked when Kongpob moved his head from his shoulder and stared at him like a gaping fish.

"What!?"

Arthit posted the picture on his Instagram before he turned towards Kongpob.

"Just letting the whole world know I'm taken and that I have got an amazing lover." Arthit gave his charming smile making Kongpob's heart beat fast.

"I'll not introduce you unless you are ready, Kong, so don't worry about it." Arthit caressed Kongpob's forehead.

"Why are you always soo understanding?" Kongpob leaned into the rockstar's touch.

"You made me like this Kong. You."

Kongpob gave a shy smile before he leaned on Arthit's shoulder, their hands intertwined as he gazed ahead of them at the beautiful sight and starry sky.

The post Arthit posted already getting filled with comments and likes. The rockstar knows there will be a question about his post as the next day begins. It might seem soo sudden to others but to him it was an action to show others that he is marked. That he has found the one.
