Naruto's Room later that Night

Naruto

"I'm sorry, I didn't get the news until about an hour after we got back from Hakjon," I apologized.

Hinata wouldn't stop pacing. Her freedom is literally on the line and I'm not saying I don't trust her; it's one wrong move she's done for in this life. The very important person is a top agent from the Swedish Government and in a recent assignment he was shot several times. It's a miracle he's still breathing and living until he comes here tomorrow at noon sharp.

"I'm not angry at you or anything," Hinata said. "This is how I work out my stress."

I rested my elbows on my knees, "Pacing isn't going to make it go away."

"I don't think I can do it," Hinata finally sat on my bed beside me, tucking one leg under her. "It's not only me that I'm bringing down if something bad were to happen during the diagnosis."

"You're afraid your entire team will be taken down, too," I answered for her.

The doctor nodded, "I don't want that to happen to them."

Then her eyes flickered to me, "Or to you."

"I don't go down easy," I chuckled, then leaned in and gently bumped her forehead with mines with a grin on my face, "Neither will you. You've gotten tougher, Hinata. Nothing will happen, alright? Just do what you do."

Hinata also smiled at me and leaned back in, "As long as you'll be right there for me."

"I'll be right behind you," I kissed the tip of her nose.

She suddenly pulled back and stood up, "No, I'm still mad at you."

"What? Why? What did I do?"

"You gave me a hickey, Naruto-kun," she pointed to the spot where I bit her during breakfast. "I c-can't believe you did that in the middle of the dining hall, too! Mina saw it."

I smirked, "Just marking what's mines."

"Okay but why?"

"Did you not hear my men wanting to marry you?" I walked up until I'm right in front of her. She didn't move or anything, just stared me down. "I have to let them know that you are mines and mines alone."

Hinata scoffed, "Then why put it in a place where nobody can see?"

"What? You want it somewhere where others can see it?" I jerked her until her entire front body was against mines, leaning down I gently kissed her neck, "Like here."

"N-Naruto-kun, stop it," Hinata gripped my shoulders tightly. "C-come on, I need to g-go."

I continued to lay butterfly kisses up her neck, my arms holding her impossibly close to me. I could feel her going crazy until my hands and that made me smirk.

"H-hey," my girlfriend barely managed to say when I kissed her jaw moving to her cheek. I could feel her grab fistfuls of my dark shirt.

She can't lie to me. She likes this too much.

"Do you really want me to stop though?" I pulled back a little bit.

Hinata was blushing lightly but she was hypnotized with what my lips were able to do to her.

"Just say the word and this can stop," gently I placed my forehead against hers.

"That's the thing," Hinata leaned up and kissed me gently once before whispering against my lips. "I don't want this to stop."

But stupid knocking made us stop.

Hinata sprang back a good feet while I mentally cursed the person interrupting my alone time with my girlfriend.

Somehow, though, the knocking seemed rather...frantic.

"Yes," I cleared my throat.

It was Sakura who burst through the door breathing heavily. But when she saw Hinata, she had took a double - take at the doctor.

"W-we were just talking," Hinata replied a little too fast.

Sakura smirked, "Did I say anything?"

"N-no but your face said it all."

Sakura suddenly shook her head, "It's actually a good thing you're both here!"

"What's the problem?" I asked.

"The patient that was supposed to come in tomorrow..."

Oh no.

"Just arrived!"

Medicure

Hinata

I ran out of the door right when Sakura finished the sentence with the medic right on my tail and Naruto close behind.

Right dead center of the base is a giant helicopter with three men in FBI-like outfits stood. All their eyes were in me directly as we ran past.

A shiver ran down my spine as I went through the door. Everything I have is about to be at risk with what's going down behind this door. It's going to be a miracle if I walk out of this place unsathered.

My entire team and some of the higher leveled medics were all kept neatly in two lines, my team in front. Even playful Kazuki looked serious about the entire situation. Naruto's team was all present as well, scattered throughout the room looking rather worried.

All that's left is Sakura and I. Now that we're here, the party can finally start.

One if the FBI-looking man took a step forward and spoke in English with a heavy Swedish accent, "Greetings. You must Dr. Hyuga and Head Medic Uchiha."

We both nodded then Sakura presented the question that has poisoned our minds, "Why have you brought the patient here so early? We were not expecting him until tomorrow."

"As you can see, the condition of the agent has worsened and the doctor tending to him said that emergency treatment is needed right away."

So they flew to Eskon all the way from Sweden just to get this special agent treated...? Wow the logic of this situation is perfect.

"We need to know what is wrong with the patient first," I said firmly. "Let Dr. Uchiha and I take a look at him first then we can tell you the diagnosis."

My team immediately took a step back so I had enough room to examine the agent. Hanako-senpai gave my wrist a small squeeze of reassurance before I got to work.

From the medical charts I received from Ino earlier, it said that the agent was shot twice in his abdominal area during one of his missions. He was recovering from a stab wound that wasn't too far up from the gunshot room.

Sakura lifted his shirt and pressed a bit around his hard stomach; the two gun wounds were patched up and I could make out the scar from where he was stabbed.

The agent suddenly groaned despite being heavily sedated. Sakura's emerald eyes widened as she pressed the spot once more. The groan grew louder and as if the pain increased.

"Dr. Hyuga," Sakura said, the fear in her face clear as day.

Oh no.

I turned to the guard that seemed to have been in charge, "Did the patient receive surgery immediately after he was wounded?"

"Of course," the guard replied as if it's the most obvious thing in the world. "He received treatment from greatest doctor in our home country."

"Well the greatest doctor in your entire home country completely missed the third bullet that is very close to travelling up his bloodstream," as sternly as I could, I addressed the diagnosis that we found.

"What? He was shot twice and only twice!" Is this guard being serious right now?

Naruto was standing beside Sasuke with his arms crossed finally said and quite bluntly, "Well my doctor has discovered a third bullet still hidden in the agent's body."

The beeping on the IV monitor started beeping uncontrollably. I whipped around watching as the heart rate and blood pressure of the patient dropping with each passing second.

The panic level in the room raised with each warning beep.

"Hinata!" Naruto suddenly shouted taking in the situation.

"We need to perform surgery on him right away!" I replied. "The bullet is blocking his blood circulation and it is becoming very fatal."

Hisao-senpai and Kazuki were at my side right away, ready to help me roll the Swedish patient into our emergency OR.

A sudden click stopped everybody's actions in their paths.

"Do not move another muscle, Dr. Hyuga," the heavy accent echoed through the room.

I looked up slowly, my heart racing when I took in the gun that was aimed right at my head.

"Nobody is allowed to touch the Prime Minister's son without permission of the Swedish President," the guard clicked the gun once again, "Otherwise I have the authority to shoot this gun."
