(First SCI post of this book, I think.)

Susie: Hello there! Glad to meet you! Welcome to the world of Pokemonsters! My name is Oak, otherwise known as Susie. This world is inhabited far and wide by creatures called monsters, but because you played a cursed and all get-out video game, we're going to be calling them Pokemonsters! For some people, Pokemonsters are pets. Others use them for battling. As for me, I follow you around giving you hints and annoying tutorials because that's Oak's role in this game. But first, tell me a little about yourself. Is each of you a boy or a girl? (murmuring) I'm changing up the dialogue a bit since you both are doing this.

Hedgehog: Oscar, look at the GameBot!

Oscar: Oh, wow! So, I'm a boy, and you, Hedgehog, are a girl!

Susie: What are your names?

Oscar: "Please enter names..." Okay!

Susie: So your names are Oscar and Hedgehog?

Oscar: Yes they are.

Susie: Are you sure?

Hedgehog: YES! Come on, Susie. You know who we are.

Susie: These are my grandchildren. They've been your rivals since the four of you were babies! ...Erm, what were their names again?

Max: I don't want to be anyone's rival.

Tashe: Yeah, me neither! What's going on?

Oscar: I'll explain later, Tashe. Don't worry, "Oak," I'll help you remember! 

Susie: Are you sure?

Oscar: YES! You know who they are, too!

Susie: Oh, that's right, I remember now! Their names are Max and Tashe! 

Max: I don't know what's going on anymore than you do, Tash. 

Susie: Oscar and Hedgehog, your very own Pokemonsters legend is about to unfold! A world of dreams and adventures with Pokemonsters awaits! Let's go!

Hedgehog: Wait, we?

Susie: Yes! We! I'm your guide, remember? Now, let's go!
