It's been a long while since I've written a full bio for a Unikitty OC, huh? Well, after thinking up a ton of Big Bright World background characters, in came a flood of ideas, especially from Hino (or Ra1nb0wPh0en1x, as they were known here). They're not into Unikitty and haven't been for a long time, but still! 

Mabel Maples is a maple tree being (or a Stumplet, as she calls herself) who is Unikitty's age. Her head appears to be a sideways stump, which her face is carved into. She has light brown eyes with carved "eyelashes" and a small circular nose. She often dabs sparkles onto her face. She has small red maple leaves for hair, and her "space buns" are trimmed to look like larger maple leaves. Her torso resembles a tree trunk with the bark poking out near its bottom. Her arms resemble branches, as they have little maple leaves growing on their sides. Her legs resemble smaller trunks, and her feet resemble roots.

Mabel is a very open-minded girl. She listens to other people when they need to talk to her. She's good-natured and imaginative, and she always puts her best foot forward. She's quite a hugger as well, and she's known by her friends as giving some firm and strong hugs. Mabel likes to listen to music and learn about it. She's learning to play the clarinet and the piccolo, and she's in band at her school. Mabel's super interested in marching bands and what they do, and she hopes to become a drum major someday.

Mabel is optimistic, walking through life with a smile on her face. She loves to entertain others and find and spread joy. She never shies away from going all out. For this reason, she does whatever she can to make sure people stay entertained, at her band concerts and other occasions. She's determined to leave a seed of herself in others' memories, if you know what I mean. Before her life is over, she'll make her mark on the world, and she swears by it.

Unikitty knows all of her citizens by name and considers herself a friend to all of them. So, it's no surprise that she eventually met Mabel and her family. Mabel views Unikitty as one of her greatest friends, and she encourages her to give everything her all. Unikitty is interested in getting to know Mabel more, as she sees her as a really cool person. As the two of them got older during the events of Big Bright World, their friendship evolved, and they soon started to consider how they really felt about each other.

Mabel doesn't know the rest of the Unigang too well, but she met Puppycorn when the royal siblings went to see one of her concerts. She has yet to meet the others, but she has laughed along to their showbiz on TV, and she's seen them in public on numerous occasions.

Mabel is friends with an axolotl named Rosa, who she always goes to sit by at lunchtime. The two of them are usually seen standing together. Mabel's favorite thing about Rosa is her tenderness, and she likes to curl up under a blanket and read exciting stories with her. Rosa considers Mabel to be her bestie. According to her, Mabel is the reason why Rosa is interested in dancing and choreography. When Mabel shared her love for marching band performances with her, Rosa expressed interest in doing "the flag-twirling thing." (They're 11 and she didn't know yet, okay?)

Mabel was built and grown in Botania. She is the second oldest in her family after her older sister Millie. When she was 5, her family moved to the Unikingdom, a place where her parents hoped they'd get good sunlight to nourish their leaves. There, her younger siblings Douglas, Max and Scarlet were born. Mabel grew up surrounded by bright, bouncy music lovers who inspired her to start learning an instrument. She quite coincidentally picked up two woodwind instruments, those being the piccolo and clarinet. One day, her family went to a sporting event that Central Unikingdom High's marching band was performing at, and she was captivated by their movements and music. There weren't such amazing things as that in Botania, so Mabel was eager to learn more about it. In and out of school, she looked up videos of marching bands and learned all about their performance elements. Soon, she entered band class at her school, wanting to be in one.

Mabel has always lived her life with spirit in her wooden soul. Whenever she met someone, she wanted to make sure they'd remember her. That's the attitude she has around her friends like Rosa, who she met when they were 9. Years later, during the events of the Big Bright World series, Mabel made friends with Unikitty. Mabel was drawn to Unikitty's boundless positivity, and in turn, Unikitty was drawn to Mabel's passionate enthusiasm. Mabel and Unikitty decided to be friends and start hanging out, and that's a thing they regularly do when Mabel's not at school. Their friendship grew like a very tall tree, and the two of them soon discovered that there was probably something else going on. Mabel personally feels as if she's met her match in Unikitty.

These days, Mabel lives her life with determination and joy. She swears on her life that she'll realize her dreams. Not only does she want to be in a marching band, but she also aspires to be a drum major.

Mabel does things with lots of energy, but it's hard for her to recognize when she's going too full-throttle. Sometimes, she has to remind herself to slow down. She's also very sensitive to heat, and she can't go near fire or fireworks. If a bug bites her, she starts feeling woozy and weak.

Mabel lives in the middle part of Unikingdom, close to the castle. Her room in her house has cream orange walls and a pale yellow carpet floor. There's a red chair in one corner of the room. She sits on it to practice, so she keeps a music stand next to it. Her bed's headboard looks like branches on a tree. Usually, her favorite stuffed deer sits on it. Her bed's sheets are a mahogany red color while her blankets are all pink. Her dresser has a music note design painted on it, and so does her bedside table. There are some hooks on one of the walls with multiple tote bags hanging on them. There's a shelf in her room that she puts her folders on when she's not using them.

Who's my headcanon voice actress for Mabel? Erin Yvette, who played another character named Mabel in Minecraft: Story Mode. Her voice is like MC:SM Mabel's, but it's less Southern.
