This character is my gemsona, and she dates back to June 2019. 

Sugar Quartz is a rather thin quartz with a cream skin tone, short puffy silver hair she sometimes wears up, charcoal black eyes and somewhat plump lips.
Sugar at first wore a body suit resembling a cake with short sleeves, peach trimmings and a hole cut out on the chest for her gemstone. Just below her chest, a tan border divided the sand upper half of her outfit to the pink lower half that ran down to her feet. She also wore thick pink lower socks and apricot slip-on shoes.
In Sugar's regeneration, her hair is a lot puffier and straighter and she now wears a pink shirt with a star-shaped hole cut out in the same place for her gem. Over that is a low-cut, open, sand-colored hoodie with tan trimmings. She also wears pocketed purple pants and indigo fingerless gloves with matching indigo lace-up boots.

Sugar is a laid-back, friendly and smart gem, but she is also quite introverted. She doesn't enjoy fighting of anything requiring physical work, making her somewhat lazy in contrast to other Gems. She loves to eat, although it isn't necessary for her. She tends to be easily distracted and less coordinated than the others, which is why she wouldn't be able to hold a fusion.
Later on, she began to be more open to making friends. She loves to cook and work with food, which is what she does as a hobby currently.

Sugar can shapeshift to blend in with her surroundings, and to match her mood. She is good at working with food, suggested by the farm work she did in the past and her new occupation as a pizza chef.

Sugar Quartz is the only other gem who was manufactured after the events of the war for Earth besides Amethyst. She was made in the Delta Kindergarten, which is located somewhere in Europe. The life force used to create her was from a decomposed sugar cane buried underground, so she came out a tall and thin Sugar Quartz. Her first ever form was altered a little from the corruption. While she was adjusting to her surroundings, she wasn't very aware of where she was going, and she got poofed from being impaled by a rock.
Many years later, a human farmer found her gemstone sitting in a bush and decided to keep it as his own. Awe struck him when a humanoid figure emerged from the gemstone, looking clueless and uncertain. Before he even had the chance to talk to her, she escaped.
Sugar learned to farm from early humans, and instead of doing what was expected of a quartz in Gem society, planting, harvesting and later cooking plants was what she spent her life doing. She later got to know the sugar cane, which she was born from, and so spent later periods of her life living on a sugar cane farm. She was even given that as her own property. There in her farm, she was living comfortably, also eating a lot of the food she made because of seeing her human neighbors doing it.
Unfortunately, she was getting a bit too comfortable in her world of sugar and crops, and in the modern times one day, pretty much her entire life's work was ruined by a monster the Crystal Gems were trying to catch. Getting to know them once they did, Sugar felt very uncomfortable. She was introduced to a lot of new things she had never even dared to think of, and she was made to leave her home and come to a place overseas where the team was able to look out for her.
Sugar tried rebuilding her farm in the countryside near Beach City, but once again, her plans were waylaid by Homeworld gems who were on the hunt for Steven. Sugar just wanted to live out her life peacefully, but she realized that she had to step up to the plate when there was a time to. Sugar took the time to get to know Lapis Lazuli and Peridot as she lived in a mill next to their barn. The three gems were getting along well, and things were going smoothly until Sugar decided to flee to the moon with Lapis, feeling like her old self. Luckily, she returned to help her new friends in a tough situation that occurred later on.
In the present, Sugar has come to understand that you have to make some sort of contribution to something whenever there is a time. Currently, she is an official Crystal Gem and cooks pizza as a new hobby.

Sugar is officially a part of the team, and she works with Bismuth, Peridot and Lapis. Sugar holds high thanks to them for helping her come out from her shell.

Sugar's gemstone is located on her chest. It is in the shape of an oval and has an octagonal facet.

Trivia:
- Ironically, Sugar is not that good with sweets.
- If she was in the series, she would be seen riding a motorbike in the intro for Future, which she would have had by then.
- Sugar's headcanon voice actress would be Colleen Clinkenbeard.
