she dreamed all that night

not very long had he known her

dreams drove him crazy

shouting in her sleep

she'd screamed like screaming man

pleading .. she needs gun

new lover .. sane man

listened to all of her dreams

after making love

she was a hippie

had married her hippie dude

he'd died .. at war

they'd paid taxes

government refused to pay

for his funeral
