I was about to fall asleep in the chair until I heard loud foot steps running into the room. I lifted my head to see Kuroo rushing towards me.
"W-Where's Toshi?" He said, clearly out of breath. "I think she's still in labor, this process can take a while Kuroo, We might be here all night to sunrise." I saw the doors open, revealing his parents walking in normally, as if someone sprained their ankle.

"Tetsurou, you should be in there with her. She probably wants you there." His dad said putting a hand on his shoulder. He quickly nodded and went to the front desk talking to the nurse. She gave me a look as if asking if he was the father and I gave her a short nod. She turned back to Kuroo and escorted him to the birthing center.

"Kenma! How are you sweetheart?" Kuroo's mother, well, my mother, said hugging me once Kuroo left the room. I stood up hugging her back. "I'm fine mother, Sorry for not calling. Work has been busy and all." She smiled and nodded. I gave my father a hand shake then sat back down.

"How is designing that new game coming so far? I heard it's getting popular with the public." This is why I loved Kuroo's parents, they were always honest. If they didn't like someone, they would tell someone else or just tell them straight up to their face. I could never do that, I admire their courage.

"How's coaching the girls, mother?" She used to be the star volleyball player in high school. She was the wing spiker, captain, and ace. I got to admit, I find that pretty awesome even though I don't really care much about volleyball.

"Fine, some of them give me attitude, I just give them more laps to run! Or I'll just make them receive my spikes." She winked, I saw Kuroo's father shudder. It's funny how they met. He was dropping off something for his sister who was also in volleyball, he unfortunately got in the way of one her spikes,knocking him out cold. She apologized by taking him out to dinner and they just hit it off from there. You would think he would be popular from his looks but he was 'the most adorable nerd' as Kuroo's mother would say it.

About 3 hours later Kuroo finally came out(of the closet) the room with a smile on his face. "Katsumi is a healthy baby. Toshi is fine, but she needs a bit of rest. We all got up and followed Kuroo to the nursing room. It was a small hospital so there wasn't many babies there. He pointed out Katsumi, who was in the middle of the room. I thought she stood out like a rose in a weed garden. (not that kind of weed yo)

"Oh Tetsurou, she's beautiful!" His mother swooned. His father nodded, "She looks just like you, son" She was truly beautiful. She had a pale complexion and a brunette head like Toshi, but Kuroo's looks was there. It makes me a little sad, remembering this is one thing I can't give to Kuroo. "It's the smaller version of you Tetsurou," I smiled putting my hand on his shoulder, " Just like you wanted." I finished. He had tears in his eyes while staring at Katsumi. Suddenly, I was wrapped in a warm embrace.

Why is he hugging me?

"Th-Thank you K-Kenma," He sobbed, "Thank you for being there for me." I was stunned but then hugged him back. He hid his face on my neck. He mumbled words that made me freeze on the spot, I don't even know if I was breathing.

Then a nurse broke me from my trance."Kuroo Tetsurou? Your wife is awake." She then left the hallway and Kuroo let me go. He smiled at me, "I should go check up on her" He left the same way the nurse went.

"Did...Did he say what I think he did?" I heard Kuroo's mother say behind me. I couldn't stop the grin on my face and nodded. She got all giddy and started giggling and saying, "I knew it! We both said he would say it but you two said he wouldnt!" She practically yelled.

Maybe, just maybe, I do have a small chance.

Please forgive me for the short chapter. My family got me a little mad so I just got impatient and decided to end it a little early so please forgive me. I'll probably post another chapter tomorrow or maybe another one sometime today. No promises though! Anyways, thank you for reading.
