We almost got to the exit but Kuroo's parents stopped me.
"Kenma, can we have a word?"

I glanced at Akaashi, he nodded," I'll wait for you in the car." I looked back at the couple in front of me. "So..." I started, "Is there something wrong?" His father decided to speak up, "Actually Kenma, there is. You see, we know why you stood up during the ceremony." Here we go, where's a distraction when you need one? "W-Well, I can explain-" Kuroo's mother cut me off, "We didn't want Tetsurou to marry her either."

Excuse me?

She laughed at my confused face. "Kenma, you were- What am I saying? You are the best thing that ever happened to Tetsurou. I can't believe he left you for her!" She whispered, looking over her shoulder to see if Toshi's relatives were listening.

"R-Really?" I said astonished. I could feel my face heating up. I thought they were going to banish me from seeing Kuroo ever again. I was not expecting this.

His dad let out a rash cough, "She's..um how do I say this? She's sort of a bitch, you know?" Tell me about it. She can't go one second without glaring at me. Kuroo's mother got close and whispered in my ear, " I've also heard she had trouble closing her legs since high school." I wanted to laugh at that, but I kept it as a small grin.
"She won't be my daughter in my eyes," His dad silently said 'me either', "but even though you aren't married, you will be my son! So I want you to call us mom and dad!" She grinned and hugged me, "Th-Thank you Mrs.-" She pulled back and gave me a look, " I mean, mom." I chuckled. "Now, feel free to visit us anytime if you need help, don't hesitate to ask!" We said our goodbyes and I was walking out the door, my mom called out, " Say Hello to your other mother for me!" She and my mom are crazy best friends and aren't hesitant to share their feelings about the other.

"Say, you've gained some weight, you should loose some!" My mother would say, pinching her sides."Excuse me? I'll have you know this is your shirt and it fits me a little big!"

I chuckled at the memory, remembering our dad's in the background saying they wouldn't understand woman.

This made my day better, now that I'm not alone feeling this way. I went outside to Akaashi's car and knocked on his window. He unlocked the car and I went inside. "How did it go?" He said as he was leaving the parking lot.
"Better than expected actually." He gave me a side glance and a raised eyebrow. "I'll tell you later." He shrugged and continued driving.

I let out a sigh as I fell back on my bed, repeating the events that happened earlier. "I can't believe that happened" I said mumbling, grinning a little.
My phone vibrated next to me making a loud chirping sound.
From Tetsurou
I was bummed that you had to leave early! You didn't get to even eat some cake! I'll bring you some tomorrow, it isn't the same without you here.
Goddamn it Tetsurou. Why must you make me feel like this?
To Tetsurou
If I was there I'll probably be hidden in the corner playing on my phone. Don't worry about the cake, you should be spending time with your wife.

I stared at my phone, biting my lip, asking myself why did I send that. Then it lit up.

From Tetsurou
Nonsense! I need to tell you good news anyways. We can celebrate with some cake and maybe even some apple pie? ;)

News? What's better news than seeing your crush get married? My mouth watered, trying to remember the taste of apple pie. I wanted to say no but having my two favorite things in one room was too good to pass. I sent back an 'Okay' and turned my phone off. I didn't want to talk to anyone right now.
I got dressed in the practice uniforms from volleyball in high school and heated up last night's leftover take-out. I went to the living room, turned on my gaming console, and plopped down on my couch with my legs crossed.

Knock, knock, knock
I groaned and fell down the couch with a thud. I rubbed my head slowly, trying to focus my vision, " When did I fall asleep?" I said to no one in particular. The knocking continued and I got up opened the door, revealing smirking Kuroo. "Did I wake you from your catnap? it's 3pm!" My eyes widened. How long have I been asleep? He shook his head, "Nevermind that," He raised up his hand revealing a grocery bag, "Guess what I got?" He grinned while swishing the bag a bit.
I was half tempted to grab the bag and close the door but I stepped aside and let him in. He kicked off his shoes and went into the kitchen setting down the bag on the counter. When he went to grab the plates I opened the bag and smelling cinnamon. I took it out of thw bag, almost to quickly, and setting it on the table. I went to the drawer to get a knife, "What was the good news you wanted to tell me?" I said looking through the utensils and grabbing the knife.

"You won't believe it Kenma! Toshi's pregnant!"

I dropped the knife, wincing as it cut my bare foot.

What?

I had a lot of free time so I decided to post another chapter! I probably won't post a chapter tomorrow since I'll be quite busy. Anyways, WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT? WHAT WILL OUR SMOL CINNAMON ROLL DO? WILL TOSHI EVER DIE? TUNE IN NEXT TIME IN DRAGON BALL Z. Jk, I WANT TO PUT IN OTHER SIDE SHIPS BUT I NEED YOUR HELP. I KNOW I CAN'T WRITE THEM ALL BECAUSE THAT WILL BE A MESS, SO I'LL LET YOU CHOOSE.
