"So or you going to talk to ross?" My father asked me.

we were both sitting on my floor eating cookie n' cream ice cream as moana  danced on my television screen.

"Maybe. I mean it's not like he cheated, we aren't even in A relationship. I just over reacted." I mumbled in reply with my spoon in my mouth.

my dad stopped eating and turned to me.

"Didn't you guys go on A date? I thought you were together." \

"Yea we went on A date. but that doesn't mean we're together dad. it was just one date."

"Well he really likes you then, the fact that you guys aren't even together and he's begging of your forgiveness, like he had slept with someone else shows how much he really feels." dad said.

yea I guess.

but I have come to the conclusion that I HAD over reacted.

"Dad."

"Hm."

"How do you know when some one is for you. when you love them."

"Almost everyone has been through this stage in their life. You find out on your own you'll figure it out. Night sweetie." He said getting up and kissing my cheek. I watched as he opened my bedroom door and with one last smile at me. he walked out closing the door behind him.

I'd be lying if I had said for the past two weeks I had never thought about ross. truth was I thought about him every single morning when I wake, and the last thing before I fall asleep. he was consuming my mind. is laugh, his smile, his jokes, his annoyingness. his everything.

Deciding that i'd had enough of moping around I got up and pulled on a hoodie over my black leggings, shoved a vans on my feet and skipped down the stairs.

Carla and my dad were sitting on the coach cuddling while watching old episodes of Prison Break.

"Hey guys, can I quickly run out for something?, I won't be too long I promise." I Asked rubbing my hands together.

"Sure, just if anything was to happen, just make sure and send a message." Carla replied smiling, as my dad smiled as well.

Mumbling A thanks I grabbed my keys from the table and walked to the door.

Touching the knob I was about to turn before I turned around to look at Carla. she was still looking at me, A soft smile on her face.

"Hey Carla." I said looking her in the eyes, she seemed surprised when I called her name.

" I love you, I can't remember ever telling you that. I just want you to know that I love you. " I said smiling at her. I watched as she gasped and brought her hands to her mouth, tears instantly overflowing.

"I-I love you too darling." She said a sob escaping.

smiling I exited the house I skipped to my baby.

Hopping into my baby, I came out of my drive way and skidded down the street .

Reaching my destination I looked at the house, the lights were on and I could see movement on the inside.

sighing I slowly got out my car and walked up to the door.

"Here goes." I breathed the priced the door bell.

the noise on the inside continued as someone turned down the music and laughing was heard.

with one swift movement the front door was opened revealing A short lady.

she was laughing and it slowly soften when she saw me.

"Hi, I'm Laura, U-uh is Ross home?"I asked voice stuttering.

she smiled softly yet knowingly at me.

"One minute." She said, her voice comfortable, motherly, a voice you'd like to hear before you fall asleep.

She motioned for me to come inside Then she called ross.

Oh gosh.

"I'm stormie by the way, it's nice to meet you, I've heard a lot about you."

"Nice things I hope. " I mumbled, staring at the ground, hands shaking as I heard footsteps approaching.

"You're safe." She laughed out. then cleared her throat when ross approached.

of course I only knew that he the sounds of feet came to a fault.

swallowing hard.

I looked up.

He stood there gaping at me.

his mouth slightly opened as he swallowed my appearance.

stormie slowly retreated to wherever everyone else was leaving ross and I to our selves.

the noise of excitement continued in which I'm guessing is the living room. snapping out of his daze ross shuffled to the door, motioning that we should probably speak in private.

we walked outside and he closed the door, he motioned for me to continue following he and ushered me to the back of the house.

we came to a stop at his patio.

it was really pretty and cozy.

 he turned to face me and looked me in my eyes.

"Ross." I started realizing that he wasn't going to say anything.

"You lost so much weight. Did I do this to you, josh I'm so stupid."  he said running his hands harshly through his hair.

"W- No , you didn't I did this on my own, I guess it was just a motivation." I said rubbing my arms.

"Josh." He said harshly I watched as his eyes became glossy.

"you're gonna hate me even more." He whispered softly.

"P-PLEASE DON'T CRY!" I said my voice quivering. just watching him brought tears to my eyes.

"I'm crying because I miss you." He said. I watched as the tears flow down his cheeks.

"Look ross, I came here to say that i'm sorry and I over reacted. I shouldn't have, I mean we aren't even together. I just, I missed you a lot, gosh I didn't know I could actually miss someone this much after my mom, i tried to stay away from you, but it shouldn't be that hard, I just.."

"Why did you push me away...at the beginning I mean."

"Ross you have to understand, P-people just don't like me."

"Laura you have to understand just how special you are."

"I-I do , I do know." I said smiling softly.

"You DO?"

"Yes, I have so much more to learn, but I do know." I said

"I-I just need your hug." I said again.

he released A breathless laugh then moved his body towards mines, as I moved at the same time. our bodies like magnet.

Before I could even wrap my arms around ross, something stops us.

"Babe?" The familiar voice said .

spinning around.

I was met with Kristine Meyers.

I heard ross softly release A string of curse words.

"Babe what are you doing here!....with her." She said instantly flinging her body to ross who hesitantly wrapped A hand around her waist.

Ross didn't answer her as he stared at the ground.

I guys this is what he was talking about when he whispered "you're gonna hate me even more."

I stared at them.

I never actually thought I could hurt even more.

"So i'm guessing you guys are together." I said trying hard not to make y voice crack.

"Yep we're together again AGAIN finally!" She said grinning kissing ross roughly he seemed surprised at the attack.

She placed emphasis on 'Again'

"Cool." I replied

ross not speaking not one word.

"Uh so um, ross, sir Allen said that the last rehearsals are next week, so I guess I'll see you there." I said moving backwards to the front yard, where my car was in the drive way.

his mouth twitch and opened like he was about to say something, but not one word came out.

before he could even get the chance to reply.

I sprinted to my car, not looking back.

not turning back.

even when he shouted my name.
