Surprisingly, stealing a set of car keys and driving away from Alfea was much easier than Vienna had anticipated. Seeing as Andreas still didn't dare to walk into her father's old office, finding the keys wasn't too hard.
The girl couldn't help but smile as she got out of the car and walked down towards the field with Sky, letting out a whistle as she did so. She beamed as the three tamed horses galloped over from across the field.
“Hello my loves,” she cooed as she leaned over the fence, affectionately petting two of them with her hands.
“I can't believe you guys still have horses,” Sky spoke, reaching out a hand to pet one of them. “When I was younger Silva brought a couple of them to my house ‘cause I said I wanted to learn how to ride them.”
“Of course we still have them,” Vienna responded, still giving her attention to her beloved pets. “My dad got them for my mum. She loved horses.”
“I see.”
Vienna was grateful for the silence that followed. She still wasn't ready to delve into any more details about her mother.
She took in a deep breath as she leaned against the wooden fence, taking in the peaceful scenery surrounding them.
She turned to face the blonde boy after a few minutes. “I'm gonna go into the house now, do you wanna come in?”
“Sure, why not,” he replied with a smile, reaching to grab Vienna's hand.
A smile grew on her face as they began to walk towards her house, arms swinging between them.
“So what exactly are we looking for?” Sky questioned as they walked into the living room, with Vienna making a beeline for the bookshelf in the corner.
“Some kinda translation text,” she stated as ran her fingers along the spines of the books, searching for a title that sounded like what the others needed.
Her fingers finally stopped on a red book, with the title “Ancient Language” embossed in gold.
“Bingo,” she called out as she hastily skimmed through the pages, confirming that this is exactly what she needed.
Vienna quickly texted Terra to update her, before turning to find Sky. Only to realise he was no longer in the room.
“Sky?” she called out as she left the living room, curious about where he had run off to.
“Up here!” he yelled, much to Vienna's surprise.
She stood at the foot of the stairs and peered up, before slowly making her way up.
“What are you doing?” she questioned, only to realise the boy was standing in her room, staring at the wall opposite her bed.
“What kinda teenage girl has lethal knives and swords for decor on her walls?” he questioned as he turned to face her, causing her to laugh.
“This teenage girl, I guess,” she shrugged as she sat on her bed, watching as the blonde continued to walk around the room and look at all the random trinkets and photos that were displayed.
“Has anyone ever told you that you're not normal?” he questioned with a raised brow.
“You know you love it,” she cheekily responded, reaching to grab his hand.
“Yeah,” he agreed as he crouched down in front of her, fingers intertwining with hers. “I do.”
The intensity of Sky’s loving gaze on her flustered her slightly, her free hand reaching out to cup his cheek.
“You know,” she said quietly, almost embarrassed by what she was about to say. “We have some time to kill.” She trailed her hand down from his cheek until they settled at the base of his neck.
“Yeah,” he responded gently with a smile as he stood up and leaned forward, face dangerously close to her own. “I guess we do.”
And then he kissed her, capturing her lips with a sense of urgency. Vienna's eyes fluttered to a close, arm snaking around his neck in an attempt to pull him closer.
Sky gently nudged her backwards without breaking the kiss, and Vienna soon felt her back hit the mattress, with Sky's larger frame completely caging her in. She could feel his weight on her, but not enough for it to be uncomfortable.
The two gasped as they broke apart from the kiss, with Sky continuing to leave a trail of searingkisses down her jaw and neck.
“Are you sure about this,” Sky questioned between kisses, shivering as Vienna's free hand trailed up his back beneath his shirt.
“Yeah,” she whispered as she gently forced him to look back up at her.
“I'm more than sure.”
