To live and dye.

Do you like
emerald cloaked mountains,
strong, wild and tall?
Or, seas so cyan,
sun, sand and sprawl.

Do you like
sour grape wines,
red, scarlet and all?
Or, beers, ye bubbly,
blonde, bars and brawl.

Choose, choose a side!
Do you share my taste,
Or, is this date a waste?

Would you like
leafy green veggies,
to crow your morals aloud?
Or, crushed crummy creatures,
cruel, crimson and cowed.

Would you like
a blue collared job,
accounts filled, life bowed?
Or, pineapple pipe-dreams,
planned poor but proud.

Choose, choose a side!
Live like me, just like this,
Or, leap across and surely miss.

Are you like
blue-eyed democrats,
with a biased liberal view?
Or, ruddy red republicans,
rearing rightwing retinue.

Are you like
olive-draped Mullahs,
passing regressions anew.
Or, gold-ginger Gurus,
gargling god-told-so goo.

Choose, choose a side!
Is it with us you belong,
Or, those who did us wrong.

Dare, dare you try escape!
Take a side, black or white,
Don't make me show my might.

Forgive, forgive me, my dear.
I am a bit of them, and a bit of you,
Open your mind, come look me through,
My timid soul has shades of grey too.

Color, color this canvas, my dear.
  Ignore instructions and guidelines,
Spare me from monochrome confines,
Be bold! Spill outside them lines.

Do not, do not frame me, my dear.
I am Klimt, van Gogh and Dali.
A fullblown rainbow set to be free.
Live, stain, splatter and dye with me.
