"Forbidden Words"

He sent letters
To her door,
The ones that promised
So much more.
He sent those letters
In a clean envelope,
And wondered if
They would bring her hope.
He sent her letters
With forbidden words
Like "I love you."
And the more he wrote,
The more the pile grew.
Throughout the day,
He would look her way,
Eager to know if she
Felt the same way.
But little did the boy know,
That the letters he gave
Were sent straight to
The unknown.
All those forbidden letters,
With all those forbidden words,
They just never reached her door.
