Week Seven. #25

I notice how you blow your bubblegum bubbles
I see how you twirl your tantalizing tresses
With your fingers
And babe
I promise I realize how hard your hips have to work to keep up with your ceaseless sashaying and swaying
But oh how I fear that this will end in your own
Self-annihilation
For you never really wanted to be like them, did you?
You believe that everyone must be a carbon copy of each other because despite everybody telling you to be unique
Nobody ever is
Or rather, they are, but they all pretend that they aren't
But you don't have to follow that algorithm, darling
You can be yourself and start the change
You will never have to be
One of Today's Girls
