Week Seven. #15.

Corroded Abyss

Today's girls go amiss,
Funnelling around in the abyss of makeup,
No longer asking for chocolate and sweets,
Instead lingering around the Himalayas they call salads.

Today's girls are denied distinguished gems,
With pensive tendencies like a young debutante,
Creeping and reading about mirroring fame,
Possessed within grown women and men.

Today's girls don't know about dolls,
Instead know how to put lipstick on,
Plastic figures and slimmer mirrors,
To capture their lonely flaws.

Same clothes, same hair,
Depression from internet scares,
Cruel words surpassing their heads,
Reaching their heart until it's no longer there.
