Week one. #9: Alyssa.

{Paper Body

Your crinkling paper body,
A blank canvas for all to write.
Ink scribbles appearing with every pitiful glance.
A glare, "Disgraceful."
Words dance on your fingertips,
Oh how they love to read them,
Your body like an open book.
A sneer,  "Pathetic."
There's no way to put up a facade,
They can read through your skin.
And oh how they love to write their poems.
A push, "Weak"
A piece of paper, folded in their hands,
An origami swan trapped in a world of letters,
Only to be crumpled into a ball.
A punch, "Powerless"

But occasionally, he will write a song upon your heart.
A kiss, "Loved"}
