Week One.
I'm really excited to begin writing and reading your poetry. I hope that you guys are too.
So, as all of you might know already, the topic of the week is Mirrors with six votes.
Put on your perspective lens, fellow poets because we have got a verse to write this week. Please explore the topic beyond the surface level and write the poem so that the members get to read a variety of perspectives about the topic.
The deadline for the assignment is 7:00 a.m. eastern standard time, 16th April. Members are requested to send in the poems by the allotted time through P.M. to me so that I can put it up in the book and the members can decide the poet of the week by 23th of April.
Also, feel free to use the discussion page to reach out to other poets and ask them to critique the piece you're working on if you need advice or feedback. No links please, post the verse and request for a critique. A question for discussingis posted in there too but it optional to answer the discussion question.
Mini survey, again.
Do you think you we should have a reader's board too? So that people who don't write poetry but like to read and critique can participate? This amazing idea was given to me by @chasing_uncertainty.
