DISCUSSION QUESTION:

to be answered on the discussion page, link in my bio.

This was proposed by Anna.

Her comment is pasted here and the discussion board.

"I think a combination of both options would be better. In option one, only the  POTW gets critiques. As the potw may be the same repeatedly, other members are at a disadvantage. Say person A is potw. Then they get nearly 80 critiques that week and others get none at all. This is pretty lopsided considering just one week itself. Now, if it was somehow assured every member gets a chance to be potw, that would still be ok. Otherwise, if person A becomes potw again, the rest are just left without any critiques to improve themselves.

So I suggest something like this:
Each person writes a poem on the topic of the week (Poem OTW).
Members are divided into groups of four and each member gives a critique and points out of 5 on the PoemOTW to each member in the group. Thus every membered is assured at least 3 critiques.
Then, the (2-4) members with highest points out of 15 become POTW, depending on no.of ties. Then each of the 4-member groups is assigned one of these POTWs. They have to critique any one or two poems of the POTW's choice.

This is more complicated for sure, but I feel it's fairer." http://my.w.tt/UiNb/kq7bgdG3Tw

If we choose this method, I'll need help because I'm starting college next week.
