Zaira logged into her school's Canvas Learning website and went under the group for KOR001_Section1_CH. It was the group for her foreign language class, where their professor informed them that the students who were interested, could sign up for a penpal program with Korean students with Yonsei University. 

The website would automatically pair them with a foreign student and they were to exchange messages with them at least once a week. Zaira thought it was the perfect opportunity to practice her language skills, and she logged onto her account with excitement.

first update for this story. i decided to change things up a little from penpals, my jurgen damm fic. in that one, they wrote physical letters to each other which took days to arrive to their destination, and days to hear back from their penpal.

since we live in a day of age where no one writes letters anymore, i though i would change it to online chatting. i feel so old. i remember actually writing letters to my cousins in mexico when i was like five. now children se la pasan en el chat todo el pinchi dia. lol

anyway, i hope you all like this story. 

i'll be able to update this once per day since everything is written already and i just have to go back and change names and places.
