The sun rose just like a brave undying hope of tomorrow. The blue sky filled with relishing memories of the seasons shown brightly visualizing the day's drudgery.

Get-togethers are fun unless there are too many people and a limited number of bathrooms. The struggle is real!

"Jaggu! Jaggu! How long will you take?"

No answer

"Jaggu! Jaggu!"

Still no answer. Poor fellow ran to the common bathroom which is situated outside the house.

"Pukatla biryani pedataranna enta queue undadu kadara! Emanatav Varun?"

("Even if they distribute biryani for free, there wouldn't be a long queue like this! What do you say Varun?")

"Rey Krishna nanu emi addakura. Ekkada konchem aagina bhumandalam bhadalaittatundi!"

("Hey Krishna don't ask me anything. The nature is calling me, even if I move an inch the ground under my feet is gonna be flooded!")

"Orukora kadhalu padaku"

("Hey! Calm down, don't act in front of me")

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Krishna!!!! You wait and watch! Today you're-

"Ah ha, chale veshalu mundu bathroom dorukutundo ledu chudu"

("Ah ha, we'll see; first look out for your place in the queue")

After an eternity everyone gathered near the dining hall. First the elders were served and then the rest. The last batch to eat was the youngsters. Jaggu settled across Varun, Apsara beside Jaggu and across to Balraju while Krishna sat beside Balraju.

"Emra Bali plate kaligavundi?"

("Why is your plate empty Balraju?")

"Kangaru padakura anakonda mana kosam specials ready avutunayi"

("Don't worry about it, they are preparing something special for us")

The food was served. Pottikalu- a special idli of Konaseema has been served to Jaggu and Apsara while fresh raw vegetables has been served to the boys.

"Enti idi?" Asked Varun.

("What is this?" Asked Varun.)

"Salad Varun" Replied Jaggu

"Enti? Edi salada?! Pachi kuragayalanu tiffin ga petti salad antara?" wailed Balraju

("What? This is salad?! Serving raw vegetables for breakfast and calling it a salad?" wailed Balraju)

"Oh! Seems you've forgotten that you're accompanying Krishna to diet" Replied Jaggu.

"Is this a trip to accompany him? It's dieting!"

"Oh! Come on boys let's eat healthy" encouraged Varun

"Bamma! mekani chesavuga nannu" scoffed Balraju

("Grandma you've turned me into a goat now!!!" scoffed Balraju)

Pitying him, Apsara silently forwarded her plate towards him. Gratitude was clearly seen in his eyes.

"Jagguuuu"

"No chance Varun"

"Please" he pleaded her

"It is Bamma's strict orders"

"But-"

"No buts. Eat healthy dear" replied Jaggu with a smirk

Raw vegetables aren't really a satisfying breakfast especially when someone is right in front of you enjoying their meal and tempting you. Exasperated, Varun went out for some fresh air. Meanwhile Krishna was busy looking for something to eat.

"Em tintunav tatha?"

("What are you eating Grandpa?")

"Jantikalu"(A savoury snack. It is a spiral shaped snack with a spiked surface.)

"Won't you give me one?"

"Only if you repair my VR set"

"Okay! ok!"

Munching on the snack Krishna went in search of Varun. Spotting him at his favorite place-the farm embankment, he joined him.

"Oh Devdas! What happened now?"

"Akali estunadira"

("I'm hungry ")

"Arey nuvvuem fikar padaku manam-"

("Hey! I'm here ,we'll go and grab-")

Jaggu came running towards them.

"Varun! Varun!"

"Ah! What is it now?"

"I'm bored! Let's go somewhere"

"You came running to say this?!"

"Here,catch!" She threw him a mango.

"It's unfair Jaggu! What about me?!" Groused Krishna

"How about we eat idli at Babai's bandi?"

"Did anyone mention food here?!" Whisper shouted Balraju

"Eek! You scared us!" Shouted Jaggu.

The four of them walked through the fields adoring the sun basked nature.

"Avunura anakonda niku edaina love story unte cheppu bamma toh chepi pelli cheyinchedam"

("Hey Krishna! Have you ever fallen in love? If yes don't worry we'll convince bamma and get you engaged to her")

"Yeah Krishna! What happened to Sarayu?" Asked Varun

Before he could answer they were near the shop.

"Babai moodu platellu idli ivvandi"

("Uncle three plates idli ")

"Sorry Amma bamma order meku ivadanadi, este na kottu muyinstudi amma"

("Sorry Jaggu, grandma ordered me not to sell to you. If I did she wouldn't leave me")

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Bamma!!!"

Disappointed, the four of them returned back.

"So you were talking about Sarayu?" Jaggu asked Krishna

"Ah! Sarayu..... Sarayu?!" He squealed, staring at the girl who stood far.
