"Vishwaas hi nhi horga ki yeh din itni jaldi aagya. Bhot yaad ayegi tumhari. Tum kitni kharab ho, thode toh aansu baha do, vidai ho rhi hai tumhari." Said sanaya while sobbing on her sister's shoulder.

"Tum baha toh rhi ho mere hisse ke bhi. Waise bhi hum dono toh ek hi sheher mei rehne wale hai, mil lenge jab mann ho." Sanyukta shrugged.

After sanaya bawled her eyes out, she handed her to ayaan and went towards her mother to say goodbye.

"Insaano ki tarah rehna waha." Anju said in sanyukta's ear as they hugged each other.

"Kyu yahan jaanwaro ki tarah reh rhi thi?" Sanyukta asked loudly rolling her eyes, which made everyone look at her.

Anju looked around embarrassed and glared at her daughter.

"Sasuma aap uske behaviour ki chinta mat kariye. Woh apne ghar jaa rhi hai, usko jaise rehna hoga woh waise rahegi. Thik hai?" Randhir said backing his wife.

Him defending her made everyone else in the room smile while anju looked even more red.

"Ji, damad ji." She forced a smile.

FLASHBACK

3 hours back

*Ring ring*

Sanaya (sanu) sprung in action as soon as she heard the doorbell. There stood an elderly couple dressed in fashionable formal suit and saree. She greeted them with a wide smile and touched their feet.

She was suddenly shoved sideways as her mother took her place and started doing their aarti and looked at them as if they were in fact, Gods.

"Aapka bhot bhot swagat hai, samdhi ji - samdhan ji. Andar aaiye naa. Damad ji nhi dikh rhe hai." She asked with a sickly sweet and kinda creepy smile.

"Ji woh bas car park karne ke liye jagah dhoond rha hai, aata hi hoga." Replied the man.

Kishore stood behind her, waiting patiently, as he knew his wife would not let anyone talk till she's done. Anju then invited them inside, still behaving idiotically.

"Shekhawat ji. Bhot acha laga aapse phir se milkar." Kishore finally said engulfing the other man in a warm hug.

"Hume bhi bhot acha lag rha hai yaha aake. Finally woh wakt aagya ki hum apni beti ko apne saath lekar ja payenge." Harsh Shekhawat said with a wide smile.

"Sahi mei, bhot intezaar kiya hai iss din ka." Added his wife renuka.

"Inse miliye, yeh humari sanaya ke pati hai, ayaan ji." Kishore introduced them.

"Namaste uncle ji - aunty ji. Aapke darshan karke hume adhik sukh ki prapti hui. Kitna suna hai aapke baare mei humne." Ayaan touched their feet.

They heard a sound behind them and looked only to find randhir standing at the now wide open door. While kishore, ayaan and sanaya looked confused, anju became furious and went ahead to deal with him.

"Tum! Tum yaha wapas kyu aagye? Itne din muft ki roti tod ke chain nhi aaya jo phir aagye?" She hissed at him.

"Anju ji aap aise kyu bol rhi hai? Humne toh aapko pehle hi bataya tha ki hum aaj aane wale hai." Renuka asked faking confusion.

"Ji mai aapse nhi inse bol rhi hoon." She gave her one big toothy smile and turned back to him with a frown.

"Arree ab hum apni bahu ko lene aayenge toh beta bhi saath mei ayega hi naa." Harsh acted too.

"Ji?" Anju asked flabbergasted.

"Ji! Sasuma, aapko acha nhi laga mai yaha aaya apni biwi ko lene." Randhir smirked, stressing on sasuma.

"Sasuma?" She was about to fall backwards but was supported by her husband.

"Haan, ab mai aapka DAMAD hoon toh aapko SASUMA hi bolunga naa." Randhir said making a baby face.

Kishore, who was standing silently all the while finally came back to his senses and cleared his throat.

"Uhm.. damad ji andar aaiye naa. Sanu beta, sanyukta ko bulalo." He changed the topic as soon as possible.

Anju stood there, still gaping at her supposed son in-law and she almost got a heart attack when she saw her daughter, the mannerless one, coming out of her room in a beautifully draped saree and looking down with a blush. For the first time she looked the pretty girl God had made her.

As her parents tried to grab their jaws from the floor, sanyukta went straight to her in laws and touched their feet. They smiled at her gesture and renuka stood up to hug her old yet new daughter.

"Bohot sundar." She said kissing her forehead.

"Waah bete teri toh kismat chamak gayi." Joked harsh.

Randhir blushed a little at his father's statement and looked at sanyukta who winked at him conspicuously, making him blush more.

"Beta baitho naa." Renuka made her sit with herself and started talking to her animatedly.

"Ji aap bura naa maane toh ai ek baat poochna chahta tha." Kishore asked humbly.

"Mujhe pata hai aapko kya poochna hai. Mai batata hoon mai yaha pehle kyu aaya." Saying this, randhir narrated the short version of how he wanted to get to know his wife and her family without them being in any obligation.

Anju looked utterly embarrassed by the end and looked here and there in search of words.

"Damad ji mujhe maaf kardijiye. Agar mujhe pata hota..." Randhir cut her off in between.

"Aapko pata hota toh aap kabhi mujhse aise behave nhi karti, mujhe pata hai. But uss poore trip ka point hi yeh tha." His smirk widened.

That shut her up completely.

"Jab tak hum log baat-cheet kar rhe hai, kyu na bachhe aapas mei thoda time spend karle?" Renuka proposed.

Anju looked conflicted, knowing her daughter's 'kainchi jaisi zuban' but eventually agreed also knowing that her son in law had already seen more than he needed to and was no less. She was glad that he was here to accept her daughter even after her behaviour.

They both stood up and sanyukta led him outside the house saying that they'll go to the nearby park. But as soon as they were out of the elders' visibility, they headed to the one place they knew by heart.

As soon as they reached their spot i.e. the stone behind the tree, randhir held her by her arms and mingled their lips.

The savoured the moment of being together after 2 day of being apart, as he had to leave the very next day of their confession.

After kissing each other to their heart's content, they finally parted to breathe.

"I missed you." Randhir panted out.

"I missed you too." Sanyukta smiled.

"Kitni sundar lag rhi ho tum! But I like you better when you look comfortable. Abhi toh aisa lag rha hai ki tum bas iss saree ke girne ka wait kar rhi ho." He chuckled.

"Baat toh sahi hai tumhari but kya karu apne saas sasur ko impress bhi toh karna tha naa. Upar se maa ke chehre pe woh look dekhna was worth everything." Sanyukta laughed and answered.

"Woh toh tumse tab hi impress hogye the jab maine ek wide smile ke saath ghar enter kiya tha. Waise bhi mai unhe humari poori story bata chuka hoon toh tumhe conscious hone ki zarurat nhi hai." He replied casually.

"Tumne unhe sab batadiya?" She asked in suprise.

"Haan, bas smoking wala part chhod ke. Itne bhi cool nhi hai woh. Ab woh sab chhodo aur yaha aao." He pulled her on their seat and indulged themselves in another makeout.

On the other side-

After a while of making small talks, they decided it was time to come to the point.

"Kishore ji hume pata hai ki aapke liye yeh mushkil hoga but hume aaj hi wapas jana hoga. Hum sanyukta ko bhi aaj hi apne saath lejana chahte hai." Harsh said seriously.

"Ji aaj hi?" Kishore gulped. "hum chahte the ki aap kuch din hume apni khatirdaari ka mauka dete, ayaan ji ki tarah. Humne toh aapke liye kamre bhi tayaar karwa diye the." He told them.

"Hum bhi rukte aapke paas lekin inhe kuch kaam hai. Lekin hum wada karte hai agli baar yaha aayenge toh ek hafte se pehle nhi jayenge, aap bolenge jaane ko, phir bhi nhi." Renuka tried to lighten the situation.

"Ji yeh ghar toh aapka hi hai, jab man kare aajaiyega." Anju smiled.

FLASHBACK ENDS

Present

"Acha ab hume ijazat dijiye." Harsh said joining his hands.

"Ji. Khayal rakhiyega aur agar isse koi galti ho jaaye toh bachhi samajh ke maaf kar dijiyega." Kishore joined his hands as well.

"Bhaisahab iski koi zarurat nhi hai. Humari Sanyu bohot samajhdaar hai aur phir yeh kitni bhi galti karle, phir bhi randhir se zyada nhi kar payegi. Yeh ladka aasaan se aasaan kaam ko bhi mess bana sakta hai." Renuka said giving her son a knowing smile.

Kishore just smiled and hugged his daughter close to his heart once again. They walked out of the door and randhir brought the car there.

They all settled and began their journey to HOME.
