You're out fighting crime with Marcus and end up in a difficult position.

That's when you realize that Marcus really cares about you.

Some minor swearing and a little violence.

Ugh! You swear, these criminals are getting dumber by the day. Did they really think it was a good idea to rib the city's biggest bank?

You're covering Marcus as he tries to capture a few of these idiots. He uses his special magnetic powers to pull them towards you two so you can detain them.

Marcus almost has them, when suddenly, the bigger guy breaks free and hurls a huge chunk of stone at you.

Marcus grabs you from behind, but you make your voice go higher and the stone explodes, showering both you and Marcus will small chunks of stones.

"You okay?" You're pressed into Marcus' chest and for a split second, you forget everything.

"Uh! Yeah! I'm good! Oh, crap!" Marcus releases his hold on you and you both turn. Shark Boy has just been knocked down.

Lave Girl comes to his rescue, erupting all over the men. They're burned slightly, but only enough to hurt.

"Come on, Y/N!" Marcus takes off running, grabbing his swords out of his back pockets. You follow him.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, you see a huge boulder coming straight for Miracle Guy.

You raise your voice Miracle Guy is warned. He grabs the huge boulder, tossing it away into the water. He gives you a thumbs up and you smile.

Marcus is battling against some hulk of a man, who looks more like he's made of stone than flesh. The guy grins nastily as he takes a swing at Marcus.

Marcus blocks his fist and the man roars out in frustration. Marcus tells him to surrender.

"No way, Morena! You surrender!"

"Not happening." Marcus takes another swing, but even though the guy is three times Marcus' size, he swiftly moves.

"Give up!"

"Why don't you pick on somebody your own size!" You raise your voice and part of a wall comes tumbling down around the hulk.

"AHHH!" The man falls backed and lands with a thud. You snicker.

"You'll pay for that!" You spot a blur, knowing Blinding Fast is close by.

"I got this!" He yells.

"Do you?" The man stands up, wobbling and pushes closer to you, grabbing your arm and pulling you towards him.

"Let go of her!" Marcus has his swords pointed at the man.

"Move away or I crush her." Marcus looks terrified for a minute before lowering the swords.

"That's a good boy." You twist and squirms, trying to free yourself.

"Marcus!" Miracle Guy is flying towards you and he nods at Marcus, who steps away.

Miracle Guy swoops in, dropping a smoke bomb on the guy. He yells, releasing you.

Miracle Guy and Marcus rush forward, binding the guy. He's really pissed now.

You move away, looking around to see how everyone else is doing. It looks like things are mostly under control

You feel Marcus' hand on your back and you turn.

"I'm glad you're okay. I was worried there for a minute."

"Hey, we're superheroes. We can handle that crap." Marcus nods.

"I've always wanted to...kiss you. Can I?" You smile.

"Sure." Marcus gently kisses you and you like that.

"I care a lot about you, Y/N."

"I care a lot about you, too." Marcus pulls you into his arms. You snuggle contentedly against his chest.

"I'm here if you ever need someone." You kiss Marcus.

"Same with me."

"I mean it. All you have to do is call me and I'll be there."

"Unless we're already together," you tease and Marcus laughs, hugging you tighter.

"Yeah."
