Dave York-Dinner For Two

You've been dating Dave for a while now and he invited you over and makes dinner for you.

Some swearing and innuendo.

..................

You pull up in front of a house, a house that looks like it should already come equipped with a wife, a dog and two point five kids.

You exit your vehicle and walk to the front door and push the doorbell. A moment later, the door is opened and Dave is standing there, all dressed up. He grins at you, looking almost bashful.

"Good evening," Dave says, holding the door open for you and you slip inside and he promptly closes the door, turning his full attention to you.

"You look beautiful." He leans down and gives you a gentle kiss before taking your hand and leading you into the dining room.

"Nice place," you remark, although it seems more suited for somebody much older than Dave York.

"Thanks. I know it looks like something a grandmother might live in, but I kinda bought it with high hopes."

You decide to play dumb, although you know what he's getting at.

"High hopes?"

"Yeah, like wanting a... family someday?"

"Something sure smells good in here!" You chrip, smiling brightly and pretending that you didn't hear what he just said.

Dave laughs and looks a little bashful again.

"I've been cooking for the last three hours. I hope you like Fettuccine Alfredo and garlic bread and green beans and for dessert, blueberry pie."

"Ooh, York," you murmur, reaching up to gently graze your fingers over his lips. "You're kind of turning me on!"

Dave's gaze takes on a hard, almost scorching look. You can practically feel the heat of his gaze

"We could skip dinner and go straight to dessert."

"Later," you say, suddenly pulling him along. "I'm hungry."

Dave sighs heavily in disappointment.

"Okay."

.......................

"This food is absolutely amazing!" You take another bite, chewing and savoring the delicious mixtures of spices together with the pasta and chicken.

Dave smiles proudly.

"I'm really happy you like it."

"Like it? Like it?! It's one of the best meals I've ever had in my life!"

Dave reaches over for your hand, raising it to his lips and kissing it.

"That's some high praise."

You smile and lean over to gently brush your lips against his stubbled cheek.

"It is." Dave gently cups your waist and tugs you up into his lap. You gaze at one another. You lean closer, capturing his full lips with yours.

"We could skip the pie and ice cream," Dave says softly, still holding you gently by the waist.

"Or we could delay it." You slide off his lap and grab his hand, impatiently tugging him into the living room.

................

You're both sitting on the couch, enjoying some blueberry pie and vanilla ice cream.

You're wearing Dave's shirt and he seems to like that.

"I might have to steal this shirt," you joke. "So I can sleep with it."

Dave laughs and leans in to kiss your forehead. Ooh, you absolutely adore the feel of his lips on any part of your body. It drives you up the wall!

"Go ahead. I have several others."

"Ooh, really?" You definitely like that.

"Really." You scoop up a bite of pie and hold it out to Dave. He eats it, his brown eyes watching your face.

You touch his bare chest and trace patterns over it, causing him to squirm. You smile. It's good to know that you have some effect on this big, strong man in front of you.

You finish your pie, setting the dish aside and climbing into Dave's lap. You want to be as close to him as you can.

He also finishes, setting his dish down and holding you. You close your eyes and just listen to the soothing sound of Dave's slow breathing.

"This night was fantastic," you murmur, reaching out for him. Dave kisses the top of your head.

"It was." You feel Dave gently massaging your thigh and it feels amazing. You open your eyes and just study him.

"So?" You say. "You bought this house with a family in mind?"

"Yeah. Maybe... maybe we could have that family."

You look at Dave, stunned by his boldness.

"Maybe. But we haven't been together all that long. And I'm not the type to just jump into a commitment this huge."

"I understand. Let's just take things a day at a time. See where our relationship is in the next six months or so."

You grin, kissing Dave hungrily. Marrying him wouldn't be so bad. Hell, you might actually make each other... happy.

"That sounds absolutely perfect, Mr. York."

"I'm glad you agree."
