IT WAS A BREWING WINTER at Hogwarts, it was Christmas time and most of the students were leaving to go home and spend Christmas with their families.

Lillian was going to stay with the Weasleys and her brother at Hogwarts during the break, because Miss Peregrine doesn't really celebrate Christmas all that much and most importantly this was the first year she was going to celebrate it with her brother.

Lillian was with her brother and Ron in the dining hall, she was reading her book with Newt in the pocket of her sweater once again and her brother was playing wizard chess with Ron.

Lillian looked over and saw Cedric with his bags in hand and went over to him and hugged him goodbye.

"You leaving with Hannah?" Lillian Asked Cedric.

"Yeah, She said you guys said goodbye in the dorm. I just wanted to bring you this." He said and gave her a present. Lillian laughed and Cedric looked at her confused. "What so funny?"

"I did the same thing." Lillian said and went over to her bag and grabbed Cedric's gift. "I was gonna send it over Christmas with Hannah's but since you are here, here you go."

Cedric took the gift out of her hand and smiled down at her.

"You have a good holiday Lils." Cedric said and grabbing his bags and leaving.

"Bye Ced!" Lillian shouted and returned back to the Gryffindor table. Fred saw the whole conversation and he was a tad jealous. Well tad is putting it lightly, he was glaring at Cedric the entire time and still as he left.

"Geez Fred, you'll blow a fuse." George joked and Fred glared at George. Lillian came back before she could notice Fred's mood.

"Do you fancy Diggory, Lillian?" George asked and Lillian looked at George with a disgusted look.

"Goodness no, he's like a brother to me like Harry." She said and pointed to Harry. Fred sighed with relief and George elbowed him. Lillian turned her head and noticed that Hermione was walking towards them and Lillian got up once more and went over to Hermione and gave her a big hug.

"I'm gonna miss you." Lillian said.

"Me too, you got the gift I got you right?" Hermione asked and Lillian nodded.

"Yes and you have mine too." Lillian said.

"And we don't open it til Christmas." Hermione instructed and Lillian nodded and sat back down with Hermione behind her.

Hermione saw that the boys were playing wizard chess and one of the pieces destroyed another making Hermione gasp.

"That's completely barbaric." She said

"That's wizard chess for you, I see you've packed." Ron responds seeing her luggage.

"I see you haven't." She retorted.

"Change of plans my parents decided they were gonna go to Romania. To visit my brother Charlie, he's studying dragons there." Ron said.

"Good you can help Harry and Lily, they are gonna look in the library for information about Nicholas Flamel." Hermione instructed him.

"We've looked a hundred times." Ron whined.

"Not in the restricted section, happy Christmas." She grabbed her luggage and began to go to the train.

"Bye Hermione!" Lillian shouts waving goodbye, Hermione smiles back and waves.

"I think we had a bad influence on her." Ron says to Harry. "George and Fred on Lillian too."

It was early Christmas morning and Lillian couldn't contain her excitement. She decided to sleep in the Gryffindor tower since she would be alone in the Hufflepuff dorms. She slept on Harry's bed with Harry as he thought about sleeping on the floor and with much protest from Lillian he agreed to share the bed.

She had gotten gifts with the money she saved from going shopping in Diagon Alley and was able to get gifts for her friends and family, along with a few professors. She was able to ask Cedric to grab a few things for her too while at Hogsmeade and was thankful that he did.

She got out of the bed quietly trying not to disturb the boys in the room and grabbed her items from her bag. She had many gifts to deliver to teachers and she wanted to do it early and thought it would be better if she delivered by bird.

She went out of the Gryffindor dorms and went into the halls and felt the chill of the weather. She went toward the mail room where all the owls resides and decided to do it there. She held her coat close to her and looked around just like she did as always and when she saw and heard nothing she placed the gifts on the floor and opened up her arms.

She flew hovered above the gifts and grabbed them all in her claws and decided to go to Hagrid's hut first. She grabbed his package quickly and went out the exit and felt the cold wind around her.

She could see Buckbeak sleeping soundly and Lillian flew down and came to the window to see Hagrid up and early. Lillian used her beak and pecked on the window to grab his attention, Hagrid turned his head and saw the owl. He opened the window and Lillian hopped on Hagrid's arm as took the package and looked at it.

"A present for me?" He asked and set it down on his table. "It's from Lillian."

He opened the package and when he saw the items, his heart was touched from the gift Lillian gave him.  It was a new tea set and filled with pastries and a stuffed animal of Buckbeak that she had made herself.

He read aloud the note as he saw it in the package that Lillian gave it to him.

"So we can have more chats and experiences with animals, and since you gave me my owl, I'll give you a hippogriff." He smiled and looked at Lillian. "Thank you little bird and tell Lily I said thank you."

Lillian hooted and Hagrid took her over to the window and flew off. She went back to the mail room and grabbed two gifts since they were very small, it  was for Professor McGonagall and Professor Dumbledore.

She didn't know if they'd be in their room so she flew into the dining area and when looking down she could see them eating breakfast. Couple of the professors that were sitting there were shocked and looked at the bird and saw the two gifts. Lillian went over to the headmaster and Professor of transfigurations and gave them their gift.

Professor Dumbledore opened his and saw that it was a pair of socks. As she heard from Hagrid that all he wanted was socks for Christmas as he always received books and odd trinkets.

"To keep your feet warm while reading the new books you receive." He said, reading the letter out loud.

Professor McGonagall looked at her package and opened her gift and saw that it was a book about the few witches and peculiar hybrids and what they accomplished in the wizarding world.

"This book tells you the information on how witch and peculiar hybrids came to be. Miss Peregrine said that I could give it to you for reading and to learn about the heritage of Rowena Ravenclaw. I also know that your animagus is a cat so I made a stuffed animal for you." She said reading the card the Lillian gave to her.  Lillian screeched and nodded, she flapped her wings and went back to retrieve her last gift. She grabbed it and flew down to the dungeons. She pecked on the door and tried to knock as best as she could and placed the package on the floor and waited for him to open the door.

Snape opened the door and his face was in a glare until his face softened when seeing a gift.

He crouched down and carefully opened it and when he opened it and he gave a small smile. The gift Lillian had gotten him was new bottles and ingredients for potions and a flower but not just any flower a Lily. He took the flower and read the note.

"It seemed that you needed a new set and a flower so its brightens up the room." He said and he looked at the flower and closed the door, cueing Lillian to fly back to the Gryffindor room.

Lillian had transformed back into herself in the mail room and went back to the Gryffindor dorms. She went back up to Harry's room and could see Ron and Harry still asleep. She went to her bag and grabbed the gifts she got for her brother and friends and when she turned her head she saw Jewel run up to her and go into her arms and snuggle. Lillian smiled and cradled the Niffler, she also felt something on her arm and saw Newt climbing on her too. She smiled and let both of them stay on her shoulders as she went back to the common room.

She went in front of the Christmas and placed the presents in front of the tree and smiled brightly as she heard the door open. She quickly went away from the tree and smiled at her brother as she saw him at the top of the staircase.

"Merry Christmas Harry!" She exclaimed. "Come on, come and open your presents!"

"I have presents?" He asked, surprised.

"Of course you do, now come on before I beat you to it." Harry smiles and rushed down the stairs and hugged his sister.

Lillian looked up at Ron and saw he was wearing a sweater seeing it a was a dark maroon color with a golden R in the middle.

"What are you wearing?" She asked.

"My mum made it, you and Harry got one too." He said pointing at the gifts. Lillian was excited and went for the sweater immediately. Hers was a dark red with a pastel yellow L in the middle.

"I love it!" She said happily putting it on. "It's so cozy, tell your mum I said thank you."

While Lillian enjoyed the sweater, Harry grabbed a random gift and opened it.

"Your father left this in my possession before he died, it's time I returned it to you. Use it well." Harry said aloud reading the note that placed.

He opened the gift and it seemed to be a cloak, Harry placed it on and Lillian and Ron gasped. Seeing that his body had disappeared and only leaving his head. Harry looked down at his body and his eyes widened.

"Woah!" Ron said.

"My body's gone!" Harry yells.

"I know what that is, it's an invisibility cloak." Ron comes a little closer to examine it.

"I'm invisible?" Harry asked looking at himself.

"I've read that their really rare, I wonder who gave it to you?" Lillian wondered and grabbed the card and looked at it.

"There was no name, just use it well." Harry said looking at the card in Lillian's hand.

"i can't believe you got an invisibility cloak. Can I borrow that sometime?" She asked. "I wanna scare the pants of if Fred and George."

"Sure Lily." Harry said laughing and looked down at a poorly wrapped present and looked at Lillian with a confused look.

"I did my best!" She said and crossed her arms. "Hagrid helped me with this one."

Harry opened the present and smiled at the gift he got from his sister. It was her and Harry when they were babies, both holding onto each other and someone, probably their father waving a toy in the face to get them to focus. It was an enchanted picture so you could see the picture move.

"I love it Lillian." He said and hugged her tightly.

It was later in the evening and Lillian was having supper with some of the other Gryffindor and wearing the sweater Mrs.Weasley made for her. Jewel had decided to join the table and sat on Lillian's shoulder while playing with a shiny spoon. Newt was on the other shoulder getting a piece of cake every so often.

She was sitting next to Fred and across from Ron glancing at Harry now and again.

After opening presents Harry had decided to go around and use his invisibility cloak. After going out he must of seen something because Lillian could see his mood change. He kept staring into the fire, ever since he came down to dinner and it worried Lillian a little bit.

"Ron what's going on with Harry?" Lillian Asked. "Did he tell you anything?"

"No he hasn't told me a thing all I know is he saw something and he just hasn't been the same." He responds. "I'll be right back." Ron then goes over to talk to Harry.

"Fred I still haven't given you or your brothers your presents." Lillian told them.

Percy, Fred, and George looked at her confused when she said that. Wondering why she had done that for them.

"You got us presents?" Percy asked confused.

"Of course I did, I love giving gifts. Besides your mom made me this awesome sweater. I brought them down here if you'd like to open them now." Lillian said and grabbed the gifts from her bag.  The boys nod and Lillian gives Percy his gift, as well as George and Fred.

Percy opened up his first and saw that it was a journal and new set of inks but a special ink that only he could see.

"Thanks Lillian, I really needed something that would not be touched by those two." Percy glares at the two boys.

The twins open their presents and see that it's new prank items to use. They even got the biting tea cups they wanted, George laughed and went over to hug Lillian.

Fred glared at George out of jealousy, but when Lillian was about to give him a hug, the glare faded and turned into a smile.

"My present for you is upstairs Lily I can give it to you after dinner." Fred told her.

Lillian nodded and continued to eat supper with her friend until she went back to the common room.

"I also should get something for your mum." Lillian added. "Anything your mum would like?"

"Maybe more yarn, or a new dress." Fred suggested. "She loves to look nice, and a new dress would be nice for mum."

"Or maybe a new bag." George said and Lillian nodded at their thoughts. "Either way mum will be grateful for whatever you get her."

Lillian nodded and continued to eat while glancing at her brother with a worried look.

It was after dinner and as promised Fred had gotten his present from his dorm and came back down the stairs near the fire.

Lillian was sitting on the couch still a little chilly and looked up and saw that Fred had gotten the present. She smiled excitedly as he came forward and sat on the couch.

"Here you go, it wasn't much I saved some money to get it." He said rubbing the back of his neck.

He gave the tiny box to her and as she opened it she gasped and held it in her hand. It was a simple bracelet with a badger in the middle of the chain. Jewel almost grabbed it, but Lillian was faster and the Niffler missed.

"No Jewel , why don't you go up to the dorm? I do believe that someone got you a shiny coin." She told her and Jewel ran up the stairs and heard a help from Ron.

"That bloody Niffler is gonna get it Lillian!" Ron yelled.

Fred and Lillian laughed and Lillian handed the bracelet to him and Fred took the bracelet and put it on Lillian's wrist and made sure it was on. She lifted her arm and looked at the bracelet with excitement.

"I love it Fred it's simple and beautiful." Lillian said looking at him. "I'll never take it off."

Lillian looked at the bracelet and got up from the couch, she looked up and saw mistletoe floating above her and she blushed and she then placed a kiss on Fred's cheek and Fred's face turned pink.

Lillian went upstairs, quickly before he could say anything. He touched his cheek gently to where she kissed it and stared at nothing, having careless day dreams about Lillian.l
