IT WAS CHRISTMAS TIME and mostly everyone was going home because of the accidents. After sending letters to Miss Peregrine, Lillian was advised to come home, so this Christmas she was going home. She had all of her things ready and she was going to the train. But not before giving her gifts.

"I'm sorry I can't stay." Lillian said and hugging Hermione.

"We know, your guardian only wants you to be safe." Hermione says.

"Well that and I also promised Bronwyn and Claire I'd come home. They've told me in their letters how they would give anything for me to come home." She said and She grabbed her bag and handed Hermione, Ron, and Harry their gift.

"Don't open them til Christmas, okay?" she said and then turned to Hermione. "Is the potion ready?"

"Yes, everything's set. We just need a bit of who you're changing into." Hermione said and Lillian nodded.

"Crabbe And Goyle." Harry said.

"We also need to make sure that the real Crabbe And Goyle can't burst in on us while we're interrogating Malfoy." Hermione told them.

"How?" Ron asked.

"I've got it all worked out. I filled these cupcakes with a simple sleeping draught. Thank Lillian for creating it, it's very powerful. Now once they're asleep, hide them in the broomstick cupboard and pull out a few of their hairs and put in their uniforms." Hermione explained.

Harry and Ron look at each other thinking that it was an insane idea.

"Who's hair are you ripping out, then?" Ron asked.

"I've already got mine. Millicent Bulstrode. Slytherin. I got this off her robes. I'm going to check on the Polyjuice potion. Make sure Crabbe And Goyle find these." Hermione said.

Lillian saw Cedric and Hannah as well and looked at the three of them.

"Then it's my cue to go, I'll have to be home before supper." Lillian said and hugged them all once more.

Lillian went over to Cedric and Hannah and hugged them as well.

"You guys going home?" Lillian asked as she adjusted her bag as she grabbed their gifts and handed it to them. Hannah gave Lillian her present in return and groaned at the mention of home.

"Yeah, my mum wants me to see the cousins." Hannah says with a huff.

"You don't seem to happy about it, it couldn't be any worse than your aunt." Lillian said as Hannah pouted.

"How would you like to hear them talk about how I should be like my cousin Marissa. She's such a prick." Hannah said and Lillian and Cedric laughed. Lillian turned to Cedric.

"What about you, Ced?" She asked.

"My parents are taking me to France, we have some family there on my mum's side." He said and gave her a present in return.  "My dad also asked if you wanted to visit during the summer? I told him about how you are a quidditch legend."

It was true during the season, Lillian Potter was an excellent chaser. Of course when she had her first game she did get a couple of bruises but everyone was astonished at her flying skills.

She had already helped the Hufflepuffs gain 3 wins so far and were head to head with Gryffindor. She loved the game and knew that soon once they get back from Christmas break they had a match with the Ravenclaws.

"Of course, let me know more when we get back." Lillian said. "Though I hope you don't mind if the gang comes along."

Lillian then pointed to Newt in her pocket and Jewel and Icarus in their cages.

"Of course, I heard where we live there are some other creatures." Cedric said and Lillian beamed with excitement.

"Alright I'm hooked, but I'll send letters to you guys. See you after Christmas!" She said and they had a group hug and waved goodbye as Lillian walked over to the Professor's table.

She stopped by the table where all the teachers ate and she gave one to Dumbledore, McGonagall, Sprout, and Snape. Lockhart looked offended that he didn't get one.

"Have a nice holiday professor's."  She said kindly.

"Miss Potter do you need me to take you?" McGonagall Asked.

"Yes, please. I already have my stuff." She said pointing to her bags.

She nodded and walked with her until they were out of Hogwarts and toward Wales.

They had apparated to Wales and it was a safe distance so Professor McGonagall couldn't see the loop.

Even though she trusted Professor McGonagall she didn't think it was wise, even Miss Peregrine would think it's unwise. If they're loop were to be discovered it would be bad. Lillian thanked the professor for bringing her home and picked up her things.

"Have a wonderful Christmas Miss Potter." Professor McGonagall told her:

"You too." Lillian said and watched as Professor McGonagall apparated and disappeared in an instance. Lillian immediately let Icarus out of the cage and he chirped, he began to fly but not too far away, Lillian looked at Newt and Jewel.

"Do mind if sit in the cage, and I'll fly us home?" She asked.

Jewel and Newt shook their head and got into the cage. She walked with them into the Loop and watched as the climate and weather changed. She smiled and placed the items down and whistled to Icarus.

"You take these bags and I'll take the cage. I'll fly us home." Lillian told Icarus.

Icarus nodded and she looked around incase anyone was watching. She opened her arms and transformed into her bird. She landed next to cage and hooted to Newt and Jewel. She hooted at Icarus and carefully picked up the cage and flew carefully. Icarus began to follow her with her items and all of them began to fly home.

They soared above the clouds and Icarus was having no problem with carrying the items. After all Dumbledore said Phoenixes can carry heavy loads. She saw the house in view and could see the children playing in the backyard. It was 5:20 and usually the children would be in the backyard playing before supper. She screeched and flew down and all the children looked up.

"It's Lillian!" Horace said.

"Lillian!" Everyone shouted.

Soon everyone began to run over and say hello to Lillian. She transformed back and landed safely with Newt and Jewel still in the cage. She took them out before she could say hello to everyone. Jewel crawled up into Lillian's arms, Newt jumped into her robes and climbed up to her shoulder, and Icarus placed her bags gently on the ground and went next to them.

"Lillian!" Emma yelled, running and hugging her tightly.

Miss Peregrine came out and saw Lillian, she looked at her watched and nodded.

"Right on time." Miss Peregrine said and walked over to the group of children and went over to Lillian.

"Welcome home dear. Enoch why don't you take Lily's things upstairs, we're about to have supper in 15 minutes. Perhaps Jewel and Icarus should go as well." Miss Peregrine said.

Lillian glanced at Enoch and looked away, still not talking to him after over hearing what he said before she left.

She forgave Emma cause she knew that she didn't say any words and knew that Lillian would never leave her. But Emma tried to get Lillian to forgive Enoch but Lillian would give in so easily.

"I think Icarus would like to stay up in the tree, he doesn't really like the cage." Lillian said and Jewel jumped into one of her bags and Icarus flew up to the tree and rested.

Enoch took her suitcases full of clothes and presents and went inside the house.

"Come on Lily! We have so much to talk about." Bronwyn said and grabbed Lillian's left hand and began to drag Lillian with her. Claire came into Lillian's right side and held her hand.

"Children how about after supper? Lillian must be tired from her flight here." Miss Peregrine told them and the girls had frown and mumbled "Yes ma'am"

Every began to surround Lillian as they wanted to know all about her second year so far. It seemed that Miss Peregrine hadn't told them about the accidents.

She hoped it would remain that way for now, she was hoping while she was at home to forget all about it. Lillian gave them short answers saying "it's good." And "studies have been easy."

She followed the children into the dining room and all sat down. Miss Peregrine rang the bell and it was time for supper. Mostly everyone was already there but Enoch came up and finally everyone could eat. Enoch glanced at Lillian once more and Olive looked at Lillian with a faint smile, knowing of the situation between her and Enoch.

They were eating Lillian's favorite; mash potatoes, chicken and rice, and for desert chocolate pudding.
They were all served a plate of the main course and when everyone received their meals they all ate.

"So have you been transforming at school?" Miss Peregrine Asked.

"Not much really, I only ever do if it's really late a night but even then it's not often. It's only on a bad day and I need to clear my head." She told Miss Peregrine.

Everyone was talking at the table among themselves, Lillian talking to Olive and Emma since they were right next to her.

"Have you met any cute boys?" Olive asked.

Lillian blushed and her face turned red, thinking about a certain redhead boy and tried to still her racing heart.

"No." She denied and both Emma and Olive look at each other both not believing her but not pushing her. Everything was going smoothly at supper until Millard asked.

"So Lily, is it true that there's been accidents at Hogwarts?" Millard asked.

Everyone was silent, Lillian looked a little shocked.

"How did you hear that Millard?" She asked.

"Miss Peregrine was sending you a letter, we all wanted you to come home." Millard told her.

"It's not Hollows is it?" Emma asked Lillian concerned.

"I don't know, kids are ending up petrified." Lillian said.

"Petrified?" Enoch asked and Lillian looked at him for a brief second and looked back down at her plate.

"They are frozen, with only a shocked expression on their face. They can't move, breathe, or eat. They're basically a statue. They're working on a cure right now but so far it's only been 2 students but teachers are worried. They don't who or what is doing it." Lillian explained.

Everyone looked uneasy, seeing that Lillian was in a place that was unsafe and Miss Peregrine broke the silence.

"The good thing is, is that Lillian is home safe. Let's eat the pudding before it gets warm." Miss Peregrine says and goes into the kitchen and brings out the tray of chocolate pudding in glasses for everybody at the table. She handed it to everyone and just like dinner they ate.

"After this we'll be doing movie time." She told the children.

Everyone nodded and ate their pudding, Lillian smiled happy that Miss Peregrine's famous pudding was just as good as she remembered.

"I also got you all presents, since it's Christmas right now. I'll hand them to you after movie time." Lillian told them.

All the children smiled and began to eat their pudding quickly so they could receive the present earlier.

"Done!" Fiona, Hugh, Claire, Bronwyn, and Millard said placing their spoons down.

Lillian laughed and took one more bite of her pudding and placing it down. Then the phone rang and everyone knew what that meant Abe was calling.

Abe Portman was once part of Miss Peregrine's loop but he wanted to join the army and help kill all the Hollows that were raiding other loops. His peculiarity was that he could see the monsters, he could see the Hollows.

For Hollows we're invisible creatures, you couldn't see them coming and in an instance you could be taken without even seeing it. Abe would always call at 7:00 pm loop time and talk to everyone.

"Why don't you all get ready for movie time and Lillian and I will answer that." Miss Peregrine

They all nodded, knowing not to question Miss Peregrine and all went into the entertainment room. Lillian followed Miss Peregrine into the parlor and picked up the phone.

They could hear the sirens in the background, and heard a man's voice.

"Hello, this is Abe. How is everyone?"

"Hello Abe, Everyone is fine. I actually have Lillian here with me."

She handed the phone to Lillian and Lillian placed the phone to her ear.

"Abe?" She answered.

"Ah Lillian, how are you? Have your studies been good?" He asked and Lillian smiled.

"Great, I'm on break right now and I decided to come back to the loop for the holidays." She told him.

"Good, tell everyone I'm fine and enjoy movie time." He said.

"Okay, by Abe." She said and handed the phone back to Miss Peregrine and knew that she was to join all the others in the entertainment room. She sat down next to Emma on the couch and looked at the screen that was brought down to let Horace project his dreams.

"What did Abe say Lillian?" Fiona asked.

"He said he's fine and wanted everyone to enjoy movie time." She said to them.

Enoch rolled his eyes, Lillian knew that Enoch was jealous of Abe. Because Abe and Emma use to be in love, yes love. At the time though even before Lillian was born Enoch liked Emma as well, and when Abe and Emma began to date it made Enoch envious and jealous. When Abe left the loop, he left Emma heart broken. She wouldn't talk for weeks, she wouldn't step one foot into Abe's room, and she only came down for supper. She was told by Enoch that she swore never to love again.

Emma looked uncomfortable at the situation but Miss Peregrine came in and Horace took out a piece to place into his eyes and project his dreams. As usual you watched as he dreamt about clothes. He was in a shop and being tailored for a new suit.

"Fantastic, I'll take it." Horace's dreams self said.

It then changed to Lillian arriving by bird form and everyone greeting her. Until Lillian's face drain when she saw Horace's dream at Hogwarts. He was in the hospital wing and behind the curtain was Harry and Ron upset. Fred was there too with George all worried, Horace didn't show what was behind the curtain but she could tell that it was another petrified victim. But who?

"I should of been there with her." Fred said.

You could see dream Fred touch the girl's hand and before you could see the victim, Miss Peregrine turned on the light. Everyone was silent and Miss Peregrine sighed, knowing that Lillian was even more scared than before.

"Everyone outside its time for the reset." She said.

Everyone nodded silently and got up, Lillian and Emma were the last ones to leave the room. Emma looked at Lily and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Horace must of had a bad dream, ever since we heard about the accidents we've all been worried about you." Emma said assuring to her.

Lillian nodded but she could help but think, was it a dream or the future?

It was after the reset and everyone went inside and Lillian decided to go in last. As she walked in, she felt her hand get pulled and she was pulled to the side and greeted by Enoch.

"Lillian we need to talk." He said and Lillian shook her head.

"No we don't." She said and tried to leave but Enoch stopped her.

"Lillian- please?" He begged and Lillian turned around and saw that Enoch's face as full of sadness and had never seen him like this.

"Alright, but you have five minutes." She said and crossed her arms.

"I wanted to apologize for- for what I said. I didn't mean it." He said and Lillian scoffed.

"Yes you did Enoch, you meant every word." She said and began to get upset. "I get it, I've been gone going to school, going to visit friends and such. But do you think I would ever leave you?"

"Lillian-" He was then cut off by Lillian.

"Don't you think it breaks my heart when I can't come home and lay with Emma or watch you make your dolls?" Lillian asked. "I would never leave you all, you are family. I'm not Abe, and even then Abe made a choice. Mine's not the same."

Enoch stayed silent and Lillian began to cry and Enoch came over and hugged Lillian tight.

"I'm so scared." Lillian sobbed and Enoch held her tight. "I don't want to lose any of you."

Enoch kept hugging her and Lillian hugged Enoch back.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." Enoch said and Lillian hugged him tighter.

"I forgive you, I forgive you Enoch." She said and Enoch nodded.

They stayed there for a while and didn't say a word as they finally had made up.

A brother and sister bond had been mended.

It was the end of Christmas break and Lillian was being picked up by Professor McGonagall. Everyone was saying goodbye and decided to go to the outside of the loop and they all waited for McGonagall.

"I'll miss you Snow." Olive says to her, hugging her one last time.

"I'll be back in a couple of weeks, don't worry about me. I'll be fine." Lillian assured her.

"I still think you shouldn't go back to Hogwarts, it's not safe." Emma tells her. "You can stay home for a couple more days."

"I'll be fine, I'll come home completely fine. Plus I'm going to try and spend more time with my family in the summer." She said.

"Just stay safe, okay?" Emma says.

"I will." Lillian told Emma.

All the children went over to Miss Peregrine and saw Professor McGonagall appear. All of them looked in awe as she appeared from thin air. Miss Peregrine came over to Lillian and stood behind her.

"Hello Miss Peregrine." Professor McGonagall greeted.

"Hello Professor, nice to see you." Miss Peregrine said back.

"You as well, you ready Miss Potter?" Professor McGonagall asked.

Lillian nodded and grabbed her things and waved goodbye to the children. Miss Peregrine hugged Lillian tightly and kissed her head.

"Be safe." She said to her, her voice a bit strained.

Miss Peregrine walked back to the children and made their way back to the loop. Just like that, Lillian watched as they disappeared and she apparated with Professor McGonagall.
