•Ch. 6•

IT HAD BEEN A COUPLE DAYS after the date and Lillian was happy with the outcome. Fred has been a gentlemen and treating her like a princess. Though they would see the cheering squad that consisted of George, Hannah, and Lee every time they hung out, everything was content.

The black dog that Lillian had befriended was sweet to her. Over the past couple of days she would try and go out and say hello to her dog friend. She decided to come once again and give the dog a couple of biscuits with peanut butter and a piece of chicken.

She given these things by the lovely elf cooks in the kitchen. All of them had knew Lillian from Dobby and was quite the friend to all of them.

Newt was in Lillian's pocket as she walked outside and felt the nice breeze from the day. She held the food in her bag and as she went toward the tree, she sat down and waited for her friend.

As she waited she took out her book and began to read, as she read Newt climbed onto her shoulder and sat there as she read silently to herself.

As she read to herself, all of sudden she heard barking and when she looked up she saw the dog. She smiled and opened her arms out and which the dog came running toward her and went right into her arms.

"Hello again." She said and scratched behind the dogs ears and it's tail wagged. "You know I still don't have a name for you. Would you like one?"

The dog barked and Lillian laughed at his enthusiasm.

"What about, Baewolf?" She asked. "After the great warrior."

The dog shook his head and barked and she laughed.

"Alright what about, snuffles?" She asked and the dog barked in protest but Lillian shook her head.

"It's settled snuffles." She said tauntingly and laughed. The dog growled but Lillian held up her hands as she tried to quiet her laughter. "Okay, well to make up for offending you, here's some biscuits and chicken. As always."

The dog drooled at the sight of food and began to eat it immediately and scarfed down every little bit.

"Alright, now let's hear the story of Alice in Wonderland." Lillian said and held the book in her hand and the dog came up beside her and listened to her read as they enjoyed the sunny day.

•••••••••••

After her reading with snuffles as she called the dog with much distaste from the dog she was going up the stairs with Hermione, Ron, and Harry to the dorm. She was gonna go and see Fred for studying.

Newt was sitting in Lillian's pocket and peeling his head out so often to look out. Lillian was walking beside her brother while Ron began to talk about Hogsmeade. But as he Lillian looked up and saw a huge crowd forming at the top of the entrance.

"What's going on?" Lillian asked.

"Probably Neville forgot the password again." Ron suggested with a laugh.

"Hey!" A voice exclaimed and when the four of them turned around, there stood Neville.

Lillian looked confused and saw above them was Ron's brother trying to get through.

"Let me through, please! I'm the head boy." Percy exclaims trying to get through. "No one is to enter this dormitory until it's been searched."

All the paintings around the Fat Lady's portrait were gasping and in shock as looked at her painting. Ginny ran down the steps and ran over to the four in fear.

"The fat lady! She's gone." Someone said.

"Serves her right." Ron said. "She was a terrible singer."

"Ron that's not funny, Elizabeth is in serious danger." Lillian said smacking his head.

"Move the headmaster is here!" Percy shouts and all the students turned and see Dumbledore coming through with Filch.

Dumbledore started at the painting in shock and touched it gently seeing that there were slashes on the painting.

"Mr.Filch, round up the ghosts. Tell them to search every painting in the castle to find the Fat Lady." Dumbledore said.

"There's no need for ghosts, Professor." Filch said. "The fat lady is there." Filch pointed up and everyone gasped.

Lillian rushed first passing through all the students and tried to rush over to her. All the students followed Lillian and Percy shouted at all of them. Dumbledore passed through all of them too and Lillian came up to a painting where pigs where scattered around.

"Oh Elizabeth." Lillian said in worry as she saw the Fat Lady in terror, crying.

"Oh Lillian, it's horrible." She said sobbing harder.

Dumbledore came Behind Lillian as other students surrounded as well.

"Dear lady, who did this to you?" Dumbledore asked.

"Eyes like the devil, he's got. And a soul as dark as his name. It's him, headmaster. The one they all talk about. He's here! Somewhere in the castle. Sirius Black!" She said scared and hid behind the pig once more.

Everyone was in shock and whispered among themselves, Lillian and Harry looked at each other and knew why he was in the castle.

"Secure the castle, Mr.Filch" Dumbledore said and then looked at the students around him. "The rest of you, to the Great Hall!"

Everyone began to disperse, Lillian kept staring at the painting the Fat Lady was in and looked in worry.

"Oh Lillian, please be careful." The Fat Lady sobbed. "He wants you both."

Lillian looked away and followed the rest of the students down to the Great Hall. She went over to her brother and held his hand tightly. He squeezed back and gave her the best smile he could.

••••••••••

Because of the events that happened to the Fat Lady, all of the students were to sleep in the Great Hall. Lillian had brought Jewel and Newt since they were frightened as well. Jewel was tucked in her sleeping bag while Newt was sleeping on Lillian's head. Sadly Icarus had to sleep in the Owlery that night, and he wasn't very fond of it. Lillian was sleeping beside Hannah and Cedric since she had to stay with Hufflepuff.

Lillian was awake as Cedric slept beside her, his wand close to his side, as he slept soundly.

Lillian heard footsteps and began to hear voices, she quickly closed her eyes and pretended to sleep.

"I've searched the Astronomy Tower and the Owlery. There's nothing there." Filch said.

"Thank you." Dumbledore says grateful.

"The third floor's cleat too, sir." Professor Flitwick said as well.

"I've done the dungeons. No sign of Black, not anywhere else in the castle." Professor Snape adds.

"I didn't really expect him to linger." Dumbledore says walking closer to the twins.

"Remarkable feet, don't you think to enter Hogwarts on one's own, completely undetected?" Snape asks.

"Quite remarkable, yes." Dumbledore responds.

"Any theories on how he managed it?" Snape asks.

"Many, each as unlikely as the next." Dumbledore tells Snape.

"You may recall prior to the start of term I expressed my concerns about your appointment of Professor-" Dumbledore then cut off Snape quickly.

"Not a single professor inside this castle would help Sirius Black enter it. I'm quite convinced the castle is safe and I'm more than willing to send the students to their houses." He said to hun sternly.

"What about the Potters? Should they be warned? Especially Ms.Potter? She does have certain abilities that Black might be interested in?" Snape questioned as he looked down at Lillian.

"Perhaps, but for now, we let them sleep. If this does get to that point I will send a letter to Lillian's guardian. But for in dreams, we enter a world that's entirely our own. Let them swim in the deepest ocean or glide over the highest cloud." Dumbledore said.

The Professor dispersed and Lillian looked over at Harry and saw that his eyes were shut. She did the same and let her eyes close. Letting herself sleep soundly trying to forget the worries.

•••••••••••

It was the next day and Lillian was sitting at the front desk in the class of Defense of the Dark Arts. They were all waiting for Professor Lupin as class began, Lillian was once again a TA and Hagrid let her be Lupin for the time being with the fiasco with Buckbeak settled down and Lillian decided to be a TA for her godfather.

Newt was sitting in her pocket once again like always and was looking around at all the students.

Lillian was looking out of the windows seeing the cloudy sky give light to the classroom. But it was soon gone as Professor Snape came in and closed all of the windows with a flick of his wand and came to the front of the classroom. He placed a screen down and turned to all of the students and glared at them.

"Turn to page 394." He said and all of them did as he said.

Lillian grabbed be book and saw the topic of page 394, she was confused as to why they jumped so far ahead.

"Excuse me, sir. Where's Professor Lupin?" Harry asked.

"That's really not your concern, is it, Potter?" He said. "Suffice it to say your professor finds himself incapable of teaching at the present time. Turn to page 394."

Professor Snape then looked at Ron and saw that he didn't have the right pages and turned it for him. Ron read it out loud in confusion.

"Werewolves?"  Ron asked.

Hermione then appeared behind Harry's table and turned around, looking at Professor Snape in confusion as well.

"Sir, we just learned about red caps and hinkypunks. We aren't meant to start that for weeks." Hermione said.

"Quiet!" He said to Hermione. "Now, which one of you can tell me the difference between animagus and a werewolf?"

Hermione places their hand up in the air immediately. Professor Snape had his back to her and didn't see it.

"No one? How disappointing." He said.

"Please sir." Hermione said. "An animagus is a wizard who elects to turn into an animal. A werewolf has no choice. With each full moon he transforms, he no longer remembers who he is. He'd kill his best friend. The werewolf only responds to the call of it's own kind."

Draco then howls and Lillian scowls at him, seeing that he's making fun of them.

"Thank you Mr.Malfoy. That's the second time you've spoken out of term Ms.Granger. Are you incapable of restraining yourself or do you take pride of being an insufferable know-it-all? Five points from Gryffindor." Snape said and Lillian began to feel angry. Lillian looked at Hermione in sadness as Hermione looked embarrassed and looked at Professor Snape.

"She had her hand raised sir, she was only responding to the question. Your back was turned so she answered when you were disappointed that no one knew it." Lillian said with attitude not liking how Snape was acting toward her friend.

Ron had his mouth opened in shock, mostly everyone in the room was shocked that she talked back to him.

"I see Ms.Potter, an additional five points from Hufflepuff for sass back. And because of you and Ms.Granger on my desk by Monday morning, two rolls of parchment on the werewolf with emphasis on recognizing it."

Draco then flew a piece of parchment to Harry's desk as everyone groaned in annoyance. Harry grabbed it and watched as Draco and his goons laughed.  Lillian got up from the desk and have Harry the book for the class and grabbed the note that Draco had given him.

"But it's quidditch tomorrow." Harry said and Professor Snape came over and glared.

"Then I suggest you take extra care, Mr.Potter. Loss of limb will not excuse you."

Lillian opened the note and saw an enchanted drawing of Harry getting hit by lightning and a quaffle she crumbled the paper, and glared at the boys and made sure to do something special to the boys.
