IT WAS SEPTEMBER 1st, she was sad to leave her loop family but her third year of school was beginning. After Thor had hatched Lillian was so ecstatic to have another baby to the family. However with taking care of a baby, she wasn't able to leave him.

She was smuggling him into school, as he was still only a baby and she needed to take care of him. She didn't want to leave him in the loop so it was only necessary to take him with.

She had planned to keep him safe and secure while she took him to school. Nobody knows that she's bringing him so while at Hogwarts she has to be careful. But she was going to ask for a certain someone's help.

Lillian was in a local inn called the Leaky Cauldron, she was staying with Hermione for the time being. She arrived late last night and Hermione insisted she stay with her and her new cat Crookshanks.

Crookshanks was an odd cat to Lillian, she was a mild
mannered and kept to herself. She even sat with Lillian in her lap.

She was staying with Hermione's because this time she wasn't going to be able to have someone take her to the train station on September 1st so she was staying at the Leaky cauldron.

As Lillian received her letter for her 3rd year and saw her requirements she was very excited, she was taking Care of Magical Creatures and the best part was Hagrid was the teacher. She had known before hand and for Hagrid told her about his promotion to being a teacher after the teacher for that class retired.

She had gotten a book called "the Monster Book of Monsters." For the class and the book was very strange as it moved and growled. The book had calmed down since Lillian had owned it for a couple of weeks and when Lillian had seen Ron's and Hermione's book, it was very vicious towards them, Lillian found that by stroking the spine of the book it would open the book.

It was early in the morning and Lillian was in her room reading spell charms. For her birthday Miss Peregrine had gotten Lillian a carpet bag as a present. She was very excited and when Lillian heard about Newt Scamander she heard about his case and had the same idea as his.

Using the undetectable expansion charm, she was reading it trying to figure out the charm. It was a very difficult charm to do and she was trying her best not to mess it up. She believed by using the charm it would be easier to take care of her friends and perhaps rescue creatures just like Thor's mother. She was reading the incantation when she heard the door knock.

"Come in." Lillian said, closing the book and putting on the desk in the room.

When the door opened Fred came in and Lillian got up excitedly and hugged him.

"Hermione told me you guys were here, I got in late last night so I couldn't say hello to you, I did get to see Ron though he was getting a midnight snack." Lillian said and Fred gave her a hurt expression.

"Well, I'm hurt. You could always say hello." Fred said and held his hand over his heart and fell onto her bed.

Lillian snorted and rolled her eyes and took a look at him and saw his hair was longer now since 2nd year for her. Seeing he grew it out over the summer.

"Your hair is longer now. I could braid it." She joked. "Better be careful, Jewel started to grab onto hair now."

He laughed along with her and moved his hair dramatically.

"Well Jewel won't, my hair can woo her, my hair can woo anyone." Fred told her.

"Yeah, the girls will come crawling." Lillian says going over to her suitcase and placing her books on top.

Fred looked at her longing and knew that this year he was going to do it, he was going to ask Lillian to Hogsmede.

He knew that this was the perfect opportunity and knew that after countless teasing from George and Lee, as well from Ron too he finally was going to do it.

"Let's go downstairs, I've heard Hermione and Ron fighting about her cat and Scabbers." Lillian said and grabbed her backpack and placed Newt in the pocket. "Though he shouldn't be so mean about her cat, no offense but that rat is on his last leg, I'm not surprised if Crookshanks put him out of his misery."

"I know, Ron didn't even care until now." Fred said and opened the door for Lillian, and followed behind her. George came up behind the two, and placed his arm around his brother and Lillian.

"Why if it isn't our little firebird." George says and ruffles Lillian's hair.She glared and the three of them went downstairs to see Hermione, Ron, and Harry.

"Harry!" Lillian exclaimed.

Lillian ran down the stairs and over to her brother and hugged him tightly, he hugged her back and sat beside him.

"I've missed you." Lillian said and Newt gave Harry a thumbs up.

"Me too, Ron was just telling me about his trip to Egypt." He said pointing to Ron.

"I heard about that from Fred, I got some pictures from him as well." Lillian said. "My favorite is Percy getting locked in the tomb."

"Your not flashing that thing again are you Ron?" Fred Asked as he came beside Lillian.

"I haven't shown anyone." Ron says annoyed as the twins grabbed the article showing their family going to Egypt.

"Yeah, right." George says.

"Not a soul." Fred adds.

"Unless you count the day maid, night maid, the cook, the plumber, and that wizard from Belgium." George list off.

"Oh hello dears." Mrs.Weasley says greeting the twins.

"Mrs.Weasley." Harry And Lillian said and was engulfed in one of her motherly hugs.

"Good to see you both, now you both have everything you need for today? Books, quills, clothes, everything?" She asked and the two nodded.

"Yes, all of it." Harry answered.

"You as well, dear?" Mrs.Weasley Asked Lillian.

"Yes, I have everything packed up." She said confidently, and Molly smiled.

"Good children, now Arthur and I will be taking you to the train station, get ready soon." Mrs.Weasley went off and Mr.Weasley came over to the twins.

"Harry, Lillian may I have a word with you both?" Mr.Weasley asked them both.

"Of course sir." Lillian answered and he took them both to a corner of the room.

Lillian looked at the wall and saw a moving wanted poster saying "HAVE YOU SEEN THIS WIZARD?" She looked as he screamed and yelled and honestly put a little fear into her.

"So you both excited for a new term?" He asked.

"Yeah it should be great." Harry said to him.

"I'm very excited especially for Care of Magical Creatures." Lillian spoke. Mr.Weasley looked at the two in concern as he looked around.

"Lillian, Harry, the people in the ministry would strongly discourage divulging what I'm about to reveal to you both..... but the thing you need to know is you both are in danger. Grave danger." He implied.

"Had this anything to do with Sirius Black? Harry Asked and Lillian scrunched her eyebrows in confusion.

"Sirius Black? Who's that?" Lillian asked but Mr.Weasley sighed and looked at Harry.

"Harry, what do you know of Sirius Black?" He asked him.

"Knowing he escaped Azkaban." Harry answered.

"Do you know why?" Mr.Weasley asked him Harry shook his head.

"You need to know this, 13 years ago when you-know-Who was stopped-" Mr.Weasley spoke but Harry cut him off.

"Voldemort." Harry said.

"Don't say his name." He said sternly.

"Sorry." Harry apologized.

"When you two stopped you-know-who Black lost everything, he still remains a faithful servant. In his mind you two are both the only thing that stops you-know- who from coming into power. So he has escaped from Azkaban. To find you two." Mr.Weasley told the twins.

"And kill us." Lillian adds and Mr.Weasley looks at her uneasily.

"Look I need you both to promise me that whatever you might hear, you won't go looking for Black." He told them.

"Mr.Weasley, why would we go after a man that's trying to kill us?" Harry asked.

"Promise me?" He asked them.

"We promise, Mr.Weasley." Harry said to them.

He nodded and Lillian looked at the wanted sign, seeing Black yell and scream. Yet Lillian could something in his eyes held sadness and guilt.

When they arrived to the train station Lillian had to separate from the group so she could find a compartment before they would be full.

Mrs.Weasley gave her a kiss on her cheek and told her to write to her as much as she could. Telling her that she was welcomed to ask for anything.

As she went to go place her luggage away in the crowd she saw a very tall man that was struggling to grab his case. Even though Lillian had her cart she pushed her cart and  went over to him through the crowd and helped him.

"Excuse me, sir. Do you need help?" She asked and the man looked up at Lillian and almost gasped.

"Why yes, thank you. I haven't been feeling my best these days." He told her and she got a closer look at the man and around his face were small scars, he had bags under his eyes as if he hadn't slept for days, and looked pale.

"You seem like it, please let me help you." Lillian said and grabbed his case and placed it atop of her items in her cart.

"You must be our new Defense of the Dark arts teacher." She said and he looked impressed.

"How did you know?" He asked.

"It was that or your way too old to be a student." She joked and he laughed.

"I don't think I'm too old? Is it my hair?" he joked and she laughed with him. "But yes, I am the new professor. Professor Lupin, And you must be Lillian Potter.

Lillian went behind her cart and began to push as he walked beside her.

"Let me guess, you know me because of the scar?" She asked.

"Well actually I was best friends with your dad and mum." He said.

"Really?" She asked and her eyes held excitement and Remus could see every bit of her mother in her.

Lillian got onto the train as her stuff was placed inside the train and Remus followed Lillian to a compartment. She went inside one of the them and placed her cage on one of the cushions and Jewel sat next to the cage, Newt was still in Lillian's pocket and Thor was now asleep in Lillian's bag.

"How close were you to them?" She asked as she placed her stuff up top.

"I met your dad at Hogwarts first year." Remus began."We met actually here on this train. I met your mother first year as well but she wasn't very fond of your father..... actually wasn't fond aren't the right words, she hated your father."

Lillian laughed at Remus's statement as she imagined her mother despising her father.

"She really hated him?" She asked.

"Oh yes, she couldn't stand him because ever since first year he was head over heels for your mother. Every year he would ask your mother to date him which ended her calling him an "arrogant toe rag"." He told her.

"That bad?" Lillian questions.

"Yep, I was the only one in our group of friends that she could tolerate but as time went by your mother actually gave him a chance 7th year. When she said yes, your father was a nervous wreck. He never expected Lily Evans, Gryffindor prefect to go out with James Potter. So when he was about to go on the date, he couldn't speak and was so nervous to mess it up." Remus explained. "But years later after they began dating, they married, and had you and Harry. You actually look so much like your mother." He explained and Lillian listened to every word.

"What happened to you.... after the events?" Lillian asked with hesitation and Remus sighed and looked at her with sadness.

"After the events with your parents.... it was hard. Not only for me.... but for others as well. I was suppose to take custody of you, because your mother actually made me your godfather but for circumstances you were given to someone else. But it was for the best, I can see you were well taken care of." Remus said.

Lillian smiled and went over and hugged him tightly, she saw that he was more pale.

"Thank you, I hope I can know my godfather more. But you should take a nap, I can wake you up when we get to Hogwarts." She told him.

"I think that's a wise decision." He began to sit comfortably and placed his jacket over his head.

Lillian looked out the window and saw Hermione, Ron, and Harry. She waved and Hermione immediately came in.

"Saved us a compartment." Lillian said to them and they came in an sat down.

"Who is that?" Ron asked.

"Professor R. J Lupin." Hermione said Before Lillian could answer.

"You know everything. How is it she knows everything?" Ron asks.

"It's on his suitcase Ronald.." Hermione points out.

"Is he asleep?" Harry asked.

"Yeah, he's taking a nap. Why?" Lillian asked.

"I have to tell you all something." Harry goes up and closes the compartment door.

Harry explains what Ron's dad told them, Ron paled a bit and Hermione looked concerned for them both.

"Let me get this straight, Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban to come after you two." Ron asked and Harry and Lillian nodded.

"But they'll catch Black won't they? I mean everyone is looking for him." Hermione asks.

"Sure, except no one has ever escaped Azkaban before and he's a murderous raving lunatic." Ron told Hermione.

"Thanks Ron." Lillian says.

Then all of a sudden the train came to halt and Lillian leaned back in the chair as it stopped.

"Why are we stopping?" Hermione Asked. "We can't be there yet."

Lillian got up and looked out the compartment seeing everyone was doing the same thing. The train came to halt again and knocked Lillian back in her seat. Harry held onto his sister and she gripped his hand tightly.

"Maybe we broken down." Harry suggests.

The lights then go off and Lillian grew nervous, Ron looked out the window.

"Something's moving out there." Ron says shakily.

The lights turn off again and all four of them could see their breath. Then the window began to be covered in ice, slowly it creeped over the entire window. It began to grow very cold in the compartment and as seconds went by it kept getting colder and colder.

The train jerked and Ron got spooked.

"Bloody hell, what's happening?" Ron asked.

Then next to the compartment door a black shadow creeped next to it. Lillian's heart stopped and let out a shakily breath.

"Harry..." She said and she gripped his hand tighter.

Harry put himself in front of Lillian to protect her. The thing opened the door, it's long boney fingers clutched the side of the door and began to move forward. It looked like it was covered in a black sheet and it's black sheet floated and moved.

Newt hid in Lillian's pocket even further, Icarus screeched at it, and Jewel crawled into Lillian's bag with Thor. As it moved further into the compartment Crookshanks hissed. But the thing never focused on Hermione or Ron, it focused on Harry and Lillian. It began to do something to both of them, as if it were sucking the life out of them.

Remus opened his eyes, got up immediately, and took out his wand. He pointed his wand at the creature and a bright light emitted from the wand casting the creature away. But as he did Lillian heard a woman screaming, and faded into blackness.
