It's surely painful to lose your soulmate. This short story clearly shows that true love is never forgotten. Xian is so much in love with his soulmate, that he dreams of meeting him. Surely, the souls are immortal, and one cannot stop the union of two souls. The love, the pain, and the longing to meet your loved one is beautifully portrayed in this short story.

The poem in the end adds beauty to this one shot. Love surely gives us the power to peep through the soul of our lover and the union of souls is always beautiful.
