Ahhh, sorry! Not a chapter :P

I know it's annoying to wait and wait for promised chapters and please trust me when I say I'm working on it! This applies to my other books.

The thing is, I've kind of fell out of love with Steven Universe. I still like it and it's definitely in my top 10 shows but I don't feel the same sparkle that I used to.

It may be that the more recent episodes have different atmospheres, or I've grown tired of the first seasons or maybe my taste has changed with age - I'm not sure.

However! I WILL continue this book and the chapters will be less (?) delayed BUT at a lower standard.

I always take ages on new chapters because I try to make them the best I can. As I'm not really into SU as much as before, it is harder for me to become inspired and write something worthwhile, meaning chapter releases are not frequent.

Despite this, I am purposely going to rush the next chapters and then eventually go back and edit them. They won't be the same and I apologise for that but I can't get any out unless they're of a lower standard.

Likewise, as you may know, I've made slight tweaks with previous chapters. Mostly spelling issues (although there are still many), sentence structure and replacing cringey jokes with more creative ones. But, I am keeping in some of the clichés, since many of you reacted positively.

Also, with each new chapter release, I will edit the previous chapters to upgrade them so of you're interested in that aspect of writing, please check with each update. I will put a notice at the top of each chapter if I have changed much in the last ones to ensure you don't miss anything out.

Please do not comment encouraging or discouraging words! I appreciate ANY feedback immensely and I love you for doing any of it but this is the kind of chapter where I'd prefer suggestions for upcoming chapters or requests for a specific scene. Here are some examples I've already received:

• Pearl confesses love of (Y/N) to Steven
• The gang hanging out on the beach and other relationship-building activities.
• Pearl trying to be in a group with (Y/N) separate to the others
• Fusion between Steven and (Y/N), who then fuses with Pearl so the couple experience fusion together - Steven acting like a conductor
