Screaming and gasps came from outside. Panick and curiosity, filling the thoughts of the innocent citizens. What... was THAT .

Well, that was everyone else. You, however, were listening to music; unable to hear the chaos in Beach City. Until something through your window caught your attention. A massive spherical object in the sky.

Not the moon, not the Sun. Something never seen before. It looked as if it was glowing, like magic. You had no idea what it was but with good reasoning, you knew that Pearl would have something to do with this situation.

As quickly as you could, you ran to Steven's house. Him and the Gems were already staring at the orb from the beach, their facial expressions showing worry.

Garnet threw Amethyst at the mysterious item in the clouds with her extreme strength. Amethyst hit it and plunged into the ocean shortly after. Even a powerful attack did nothing. Pearl saw you jogging up to them, still keeping an eye on the sky.

"(Y/N)! Please, be careful." She always said that. At least she cares.

"What is that THING!?" You asked the Crystal Gems, feeling a little bit threatened by this new creature in the distance.

"It's a gem. Well, almost. Someone got a bunch of shattered Rubies and forced them to fuse together to make this... monstrosity." Garnet explained, her voice quivering. You knew that she was a fusion of Ruby and Sapphire so this must have been hard for her. Perhaps, too hard.

She fell apart. This was the first time you saw the duo separately. Garnet, being the strongest of the team, was needed for this mission. However, no matter how hard they tried, Ruby and Sapphire couldn't fuse back together because of the traumatic moment for a certain red Gem.

Understandably, everyone was upset at what this anonymous person had done, but it must have been more hurtful for Ruby. Seeing her own Gem type, forced into fusion. And especially when something like that is personal to her.

Without Garnet, the Gems were left with no choice. Pearl and Amethyst had to fuse. When they discussed their plans, Steven got VERY excited. He started chanting "Giant Woman!!"

"Giant woman?" You asked him, no knowing what he could possible mean by that.

"When two Gems fuse, they get bigger! Pearl and Amethyst will be Opal! And turn into a giant woman!" Steven hugged you with glee. He was obviously fond of either Opal or the fact that he'd see a "Giant Woman". The details weren't necessary. The important part was that the plan would work.

Pearl and Amethyst started dancing. It didn't come across to you that it was a suitable time to practise routines, but none the less you trusted what they were doing.

Although their preferred dance styles are different, both patterns were surprisingly organised. It became sychronised and they glowed a bright white. Was this how they fused?

Steven sure was right when he stated they'd transform into a giant woman. She was HUGE. From the little information you had, you guessed that this was Opal. The Gem that formed when Pearl and Amethyst fused.

She did look like both of them at the same time, which was expected. (I mean, who else would be shocked if Opal looked like a giant Onion. I'd be pretty scared, personally.)

Amethyst's whip and Pearl's spear combined into a bow and arrow. She pulled her arm back, and released the arrow. It shot through the air, light and glitter surrounding it as it edged closer to group of broken Rubies.

It hit and the fusion was instantly demolished. A huge explosion was the result and a few shards could be seen splashing into the water below. Done! The mission was a success!

Pearl and Amethyst came apart straight after. By the looks on their faces, they weren't too glad that they had to fuse but at least it was worth it.

"Well done! You completed the objective!" You hugged Pearl and Amethyst at the same time.

"AND WE GOT TO SEE A GIANT WOMAN!" Steven shouted, joining in on the hug. Then, Garnet embraced us. She had reformed into the way she liked it, knowing that she'll never have to see the forced fusion of the Rubies.

Yet still, she wanted to catch the person who made that happen. We all wanted to. Revenge.
