Today is the day . The selection for who will carry the pearl or child like i'd like to call it. It happens every 3 years , five girls at the age of 17 are chosen to be a candidate to take care of the sacred pearl.

Well , today is the day . And just like you guessed i'm gonna be one of those candidates . Although my disaproval my family had earned the title for three generations and well family os sacred right ? . And that's how i'm being here today standing with the four other girls next to me waiting for the event to begin .

Oh that's me , i swim to the stage and hear all the cheers coming from the crowd and particularly from my very big family . Needless to say the pressure is strong. Oh and maybe i forgot to tell you but i'm a mermaid .
