taehyung was so happy that he could feel his heart jumping up and down inside his ribcage.

laying by her side on their bed, he rubs her round belly with slow feather touches, it's like if he puts any more pressure it's going to crack between his fingers.

"babe," she laughs softly, amused by his overprotective behavior.

"what!" he whines, nuzzling his head deeper in her chest, never stopping his movements.

she just continues to laugh and brings her hand on top of his, putting a little bit more pressure on her bump.

"i don't think i'll ever get used to this." he chuckles softly, feeling the warmth of both her hand and her belly sending rush to his heart, causing it to beat faster in his chest.

"get used to what exactly?" she asks, now her hands are between his locks, playing with his hair and occasionally massaging his scalp.

he hums in response and rubs on her soft flesh with his nose, sniffing on her peachy scent.

"how you're carrying a whole baby inside your tummy. and how it's getting bigger with each passing day." he looks up at her with a bright smile and big doe eyes.

"well, i'm not going to stay like this forever..so that's okay if you don't get used to it." she leans in closer and pecks his lips.

just as she was about to pull away, he sneaks his hand around her neck and pulls her face closer to his.

"thank you for being able to bless me with a child." his words come out as a whisper, causing her heart to flutter and her lips to curl up in a shy smile.

she's still affected by his words and actions, smiling shyly. just like the good old times.

"i couldn't have done it without you babe." she breathes out and he felt his lips tingling.

he closes the little space between them by pressing a soft kiss on her mouth, lips moving in sync.

he gently tugs on her lower lip biting it softly before pulling out completely and standing up.

"where are you going?" she asks in the cutest way possible and taehyung couldn't help but melt.

"to the kitchen." he responds smiling and exiting the room.

after some time he came back with a bowl of freshly cut fruits. her eyes shot up excitedly. she was craving something sweet and munching on some fruits wasn't a bad idea.

"i thought you could eat something healthy." he makes his way beside her and places the bowl on his lap.

she just keeps looking lovingly at him, wondering how lucky she was to have someone as sweet and caring as taehyung in her life.

"let me feed you. pretty please?" he asks with a pout, knowing she wouldn't resist his cute face.

"you know i can't say no to that face tae.." she whines pinching his cheeks.

he shoots her a boxy grin and begins placing the little cubes of fruit between her lips.

"thank you," she mutters.

"you've got something on your face." he smiles softly as she places her hand on her face, trying to get it off but failing miserably.

he laughs at her cuteness before talking.

"wait, let me help you," he takes both her hands in his warm ones and leans in closer to her face.

her heart never fails to skip beats every time he's this close to her. and with the pregnancy's hormones dancing in her whole system, it was too hard to avoid the strong feeling she had shaking her whole body with goosebumps.

he puts his lips on the juicy stain sitting in the corner of her mouth, sucking lightly on the spot to taste the sweetness of the peach juice.

he drags his lips on top of hers and kisses her passionately, caressing her cheek with his thumb. she brings her hand behind his head, playing with his soft jet black hair.

after their little make out session they both lay in each others arms, enjoying the warmth that was radiating from both of their bodies.

"tae..there's one thing i probably don't know about you.." she states out of the blue, making him shoot his head up and looking straight at her eyes.

"what is it?

"what's your favorite fruit?" she asks, looking up at him and gently stroking his cheek, as if his face was made of porcelain.

"peaches." he answers softly, nuzzling his head in the crook of her neck causing a cute giggle to slip out of her pink lips. "because you always smell like them."
