When they were walking out of the shrine, it was raining.

Momo was getting the rooms back to their normal while humming a song.
Tomoe was still there looking at her. The urge of protecting her was there again.
She took some blankets from the rooms then come back to her room to place them on the closet because that's where she usualy puts them. Momo took a chair and while she was on top of it trying to put the blankets on the closet the chair fell down.

Akura looked up at the sky. He saw that it had began to rain but he didn't care. He just kept walking. Walking back to his place, but somehow he felt weird. It seemed like he didn't really want to leave the woman, but he also didn't want to stay because she didn't want him to be there. He didn't understand why he felt that way. Then, dismissing his thoughts, he turned back to look at Tomoe but he was nowhere to be found. "Huh? Where did you go brother?" -Ugh, did he stay back there- He started walking back for Tomoe.

Tomoe quickly caught her but the blankets fell on them. "Be carefull."
"I'll try. Thanks" Momo smiled in gratitude.

Tomoe knew Akura wanted her so he couldn't make himself to grab her and take her.

"You can put me down now. I didn't get hurt so I can walk." The girl smiled at tomoe as she took the blankets off.

Tomoe put her down and walked outside.
Momo took the blankets and just decided to place them somewhere in the other room so she wouldn't get in danger again.

Akura walked back into the shrine. "Tomoe?! Are you still here?!"

"Don't yell into my ear." Tomoe stood in front of Akura. "I was on my way."

"Oh sorry, brother. Well, come on then, let's go, or do you want to stay here? She doesn't seem like she wants us though, but you can still do whatever you want."

Tomoe looked over his shoulder at Momo.

"Hm? I never said I don't want you guys to stay here. From where did you get that idea? Ugh, don't answer. Sorry for kicking you." She said as she was passing by them while going to the kitchen.

"So, you want us to stay then?" Akura raised an eyebrow.

"Yes. It's dark and raining."

"Oh.. Fine... I guess we can stay then for now." Akura answered with a bit of annoyance in his voice which was actually kinda forced without him even realizing it.

"Would you mind helping me re-make your rooms?" Momo laughed nervously. "Sorry, I kind of want you guys to help me too much".

"Don't bother, I can sleep in your be- Or never mind I can sleep wherever, you don't need to bother though, I can sleep the way the room is." -What is going on with me? Why am I being nice to her? I should just do whatever I please and that would mean sleeping with her, but why do I feel like respecting her wishes? Ugh, this is annoying me- Akura wasn't pleased about how he was starting to act.

Tomoe remade the rooms.

"Pfft" Tomoe let out this sound that could have been mistaken for a hint of annoyance.

"Oh, thanks Tomoe, but wait... why are you pissed off? Did the hammer not work? Oh no! The hammer!! I have to give it back!!" She ran to get the hammer.

"Calm down. "It worked." He reasured the woman.

"Then?"

"Here" Akura picked up the hammer and handed it to her.

"Thanks. I will go and give it back, you two should try and get some sleep. I will be back in a moment." Momo said as she took an umbrella and started to walk away.

"I am not pissed off." He glanced over at Akura. "I just noticed something."

"Alright." Momo just simply shrugged as she walked out.

Akura went to his room and layed in the bed. He was looking at the ceiling and thinking to himself

After a while Momo come back in total silence to make sure she doesn't wake them up if they were sleeping. She then went to the kitchen to make herself some tea and after finishing it she went to her room.

Akura heard her come back but didn't move a muscle. "Ugh.."He wasn't in the greatest mood because he couldn't understand himself at the moment. What was going on in his mind? Why has he suddenly started acting like that? Did he actually ended up caring about that woman?

Tomoe sat next to Akura and whispered so she couldn't hear it. "Akura."

"Hm?" He turned to Tomoe

-Should I check on the boys? I mean they are not kids anymore but... still. Ill go and check- Momo slolwy walked to their room and took a small peek inside -I can't see a thing... Well, I'm going back to my room- But as she was about to go back she heard Tomoe's voice so she stopped herself from going back.

"You seem like you fallen for her." Tomoe stated his thought with a straight face.

"Hm? Pufft, haha! Don't be ridiculous, brother, I couldn't have possibly fallen for her! It's impossible! I don't believe in love and you know that. A demon lord falling in love and with a god?! How funny!" Even though he said that but somehow he didn't felt so sure about his own words.

-He is right. Why would he fall for me? It's just... ridicolous.- Momo thought as she walked to her room after overhearing their conversation.

"I don't fully believe you brother. But alright."

"Believe what you will." Akura turned on his side "I'm going to sleep now"

As Momo got to her room she layed on the bed and fall asleep.

Akura also drifted off to sleep not minding if Tomoe has left him or not.

In the morning Momo was still sleeping not wanting to wake up and leave her warm bed.

Akura was also still in bed tossing and turning.

-I wish I could feel warm even after leaving my bed- Momo thought as she finally got up and went to the kitchen to make herself some breakfast.

But Akura was still in bed and it looked like he was having a bad dream since there was sweat on his forehead.

-I wonder if the boys woke up- The goddess thought to herself as she walked to their room and got close to Akura. She softly started to shake him. "Wake up. Hey, wake up." She said softly so she wouldn't wake up tomoe.

Akura grabbed her and pulled her down on him. Then he wrapped his arms around the woman's waist while still sleeping. After she was in his arms he started to calm down, probably because his bad dream had gone away.

She sighed a little and just waited for him to wake up.

Akura finally started to wake up when he noticed that he is holding something. The red haired demon looked to see what it was and saw Momo in his arms. "Eh?! Woman, why are you here? Did you sleep with me all night? You know if you wanted me to sleep with you, you should have asked, I wouldn't have minded."

"You had a bad dream and while I tried to wake you up, you pulled me like this. I've been sitting here waiting for you to wake for two hours. Your sleep is just so deep"

"Oh." He scratched his head "Sorry about that... And yes I am a bit of a heavy sleeper at least that's what Tomoe always tells me.

"Well, you are. Also, don't worry about it, I don't mind. It helped you to not have a nightmare." She smiled at him.

"Oh.. Thanks, I guess" He slightly blushed and turned his face away from her.

"You know, when you blush your blush pretty much blends with your hair." She said looking at him.

"What?! I'm not blushing! You just imagined that! That probably was my hair!" He got a bit flustered.

She chuckled "Maybe. Anyways, are you hungry?"

"Not really, unless you are talking about canned peaches then yeah"

"How about just peaches? I have lots of them since I have many peach trees". She said as she kept looking at him.

"I guess that will do too"

"Then, lets go to my garden. Umm... can you let go of me?"

"Oh, sorry, I forgot." He quickly let go of her. "Okay, let's just go."

Momo stood up and started to walk to her garden as Akura followed her. As soon as she got to the garden she took a peach from the tree and handed to the oni. "Here"

He took the peach out of her hand. "Thanks"

"Do you want me to leave you here with the peaches?"

"No. Stay. I rather you stay here." Then he whispered, because he wasn't sure if he wants her to hear this or not "Because you are the best peach out here..."

"What do you think of peaches? Are they cute or something? Why do you like them?" She said while looking away.

"I like how they taste once you put them in your mouth. Sweet, yet juicy and a bit slippery just like women. He smirked "I'm just kidding."

"Let me ask you something else. What kind of girls do you like?" She said while looking at him.

Tomoe was watching them unnoticed for quite some time now. He kept quiet to see where the conversation went.

"What kind of girls I like? Hm, I guess I like a bit of a feisty woman, the ones who wouldn't be afraid to look me in the eye and say what she thinks and do what she pleases. Though, I guess I still would like her to submit to me. Well that's what I can come up with right now, since I never have given a big though to that"

"Do you want another peach?" She said as she compeltly ignored his answer and turned around to the peach tree.

"Sure" He answered not caring or realizing that she ignored his answer.

"You get to choose what peach do you want. I'm going to make my breakfast because I still didn't ate anything."

"Okay." He takes few peaches. "Here, I have picked up some. We can go inside now and you can make something to eat for yourself."

"Sure." She said as she started to walk when she suddenly stopped.

"Oi, woman, why did you stop so suddenly?" Akura almost bumped into her.

"I just realize. I still don't know your name"

"Oh? I thought you knew it already, because of Tomoe, but then again maybe he didn't say my name. So, if that's the case then I'll tell you my name. It's Akura-Ou. I'm pretty sure you have heard of it before. I am well known as the Demon King.

"Nope. This is the first time hearing it. And stop saying that you are popular, let other people appreciate you" She said as she smiled and started walking again.

"I didn't say it before to you that I'm popular or anything. At least not that I can remember"

"You did just now." She said as she looked at him and started to walk backwards and she bumped into Tomoe.

Tomoe looked down at her.

"Just now, but you said it like I do that often". Akura noticed Tomoe. "Oh, Tomoe, good morning"

"Oh, sorry Tomoe. I wasn't looking." She smiled at him hoping she didn't get him angry before turning to Akura. "But you sounded like you do that often."

"I was here the whole time. You both were talking so you did not notice." Tomoe chuckled.

"Whatever" Akura rolled his eyes before expressing his surprise at Tomoe. "Oh? You were? You should have said something, brother"

"No. It was interesting to see you two talking."

"Are you hungry? I was about to go and cook something" Momo asked Tomoe.

"I'm not hungry" Akura thought that she asked him.

"I was asking Tomoe, you already ate."

"Yes, I was about to say that I still have the peaches."

"I'm not hungry either." Tomoe simply answered.

"Seems like I'm the only one who's hungry."

"Yes, it seems so."

"That just means more food for me!" She giggled then she went to the kitchen and started to make herself a meal.

Akura followed her into the kitchen and sat at the table. Then he started to eat his peaches that he still had.

"Why are you following me?" She said while cooking.

"Hm? Can't I go here to eat? You said you are going to the kitchen and I thought I could just eat here while I wait for you to finish cooking for yourself"

Tomoe decided to sit in the main room.

"Sure then." After a while she finished her cooking and she started eating while time to time sipping her tea.

"When are you going to finish that?" Akura was a bit annoyed because of boredom.

"Do you want me to eat faster?"

"Yes, woman, you should eat faster, because I'm dying of boredom here" He said in an annoyed voice.

"I have a name. Please use it and stop calling me woman" She said before she started to eat faster.

"Fine, Peachy. I'll call you that then"

Tomoe was sipping sake in the main room. Like always, bored.

"That's better!" She smiled at him after finishing her meal.

"Good, finally you are done" He grabbed her by the arm putting his arm around hers and started dragging the woman outside. "Let's go somewhere, Peachy."

"Eh?" Momo said a bit confuse as she was dragged away.
