He remembered my number...

POV: Emma. Play the song! 😘

I was completely overwhelmed with Tucker invading my every thought process that I had completely forgotten about my ballet tryouts with the Dallas Ballet Company after school.

I've been dancing since I was two. My mother pushed me into every dance studio across London to learn from the best of the best in the ballet world. I've even met with Mikhail Baryshnikov and George Balanchine to study. Mikhail was amazing and told me I had a natural talent. George however, was an arrogant dictator who told me to lose more weight then one day I'd be a famous ballerina.

Mum wanted me to continue my art that I had lived, breathed, slept, and ate practically my entire life. But honestly I was burned out and ready for a change. And I think I had just recently met my change and it's name was Tucker Knox.

I rushed home to change into my black leotard and pink tights while picking up my point shoes and dance bag and headed out the door to the studio.

The tryouts were extremely rigorous and perhaps the hardest I've ever been apart of. There were thirty girls and only three spots to fill. After everything was said and done I sat on the floor taking my point shoes off, along with my tape around my toes and wool off to stick back into the bottom of my point shoes. I looked at the clock and it was already 9:00 pm while pulling on my street shoes.

"Emma Watson. Congratulations." I heard my name and the claps echoing around the room. I couldn't believe I had been picked for one of the three opened spots. I thanked everyone and also met with the director. I didn't really pay attention to names because all I could think about was getting home to see if Tucker called me.

I was finally home. I parked my car in front of my usual spot and I rushed up the sidewalk to open my front door wishing he had called me.

I found my parents sitting in the living room watching "Bonanza."

"I'm home Mum and Dad!" I yelled behind them turning around wanting to go check the message pad by the phone where my mum kept for phone calls we happened to miss that she kept record of for us.

"Oh Emma come tell us what happened!" My mum called for me to come back and I begrudgingly moaned walking back into the living room.

"I made the company! I'm in the core so now I just have to work my way up to soloist." I tried to sound excited.

My parents both jumped up to hug me and congratulate me. "Oh Emma we are so proud of you! Are you hungry darling? I'll heat you up a TV dinner." My Mum told me and we walked into the kitchen and I sat down to eat. Mum wasn't the best cook. Her speciality in the kitchen was making her many varieties of signature mixed drinks for the evening before bed every other night.

"Emma darling you had a phone call earlier. From a boy named Tucker Knox?" My mum sounded suspicious.

I dropped my fork and it fell off the table and hit the floor. I quickly picked it back up and I looked up at my mum still staring at me.

"Do you know who that is Emma?" She asked me.

"Uh, yes. It's just a boy I met at school today mum." I tried to sound innocent and as if it was no big deal. When it actually was. He really called me. I couldn't believe he remembered my number too?

"And he's calling you already Emma?" Mum questioned me again with an odd look on her face.

"He's just a friend mum. It's fine. But mum, he did ask me to go see him play in an American football game this Friday and to go with him to the party afterwards. Please. Please. Mum can I go?" I was going to beg her until I couldn't talk anymore.

My mum suddenly got an extremely worried look on her face that read "oh no it's starting."

"Alright Emma, but we are going to want to meet this boy. And you have to be back before midnight." She warned me while pointing.

"He's going to pick you up here, correct?" She asked and I wasn't sure.

"I'll find out for sure mum." I finished my over cooked TV dinner and rushed to the phone to see his message to me. Tucker's phone number was staring at me and causing anxiety.

"Don't call him back Emma. Guys like to chase girls, not the other way around. If he wants to talk to you he will call again. Only hussies call boys." I heard my mum from behind me with her clinking glass of vodka and tonic singing. I took her advice and went upstairs to shower and go to bed.

I swear I thought I heard the phone ringing downstairs at around midnight. But I didn't get up.

I pulled into the school parking lot and saw Tucker pull in within seconds behind me. He was driving a silver Harley motorcycle. Tucker was wearing sunglasses aviators, jeans, a white t-shirt, black boots, with his school bag wrapped around his body. I also noticed he was not wearing a helmet.

He turned off his engine stood up and lit a cigarette. He walked to the front of the school and hung out by the entrance door. Maybe he was waiting for me?

I looked in the mirror to see if I looked alright and grabbed my belongings to walk inside. The closer I got I looked up at him and he noticed me. He smiled and I could see his eyes staring at me even behind those aviator sunglasses. I was soon right by him in his sexy presence once more.

"Well thanks for calling me back last night Emma." Tucker teased me leaning against the brick wall smoking his cigarette.

"Oh Tucker I'm so sorry. I got home late from my tryouts at the ballet company." I explained.

"Ballet? You're a ballet dancer?" He asked me with a smile.

"Yes," I blushed and grinned back at him.

"Well that's neat. I like dancers." Tucker sexily stated taking another drag of his cigarette.

"You still could've called me back though Emma. I waited for you. I'll always wait for you." He raised his eyebrows smiling then put his cigarette out on the brick wall and threw it.

"Well Tucker, it looks as if you'll be waiting a long time for me to call you back because I don't call boys. If you want to talk to me you'll just have to keep ringing for me." I finished and started to walk off and he grabbed my hand to turn me back into him pulling me into his body leaning against the wall wrapping his arms around my waist resting his hands on my lower back.

"Is that so?" He seductively whispered into my mouth while looking into my eyes. I could see his beautiful sexy eyes piercing into mine even behind those dark sunglasses. And I was practically laying on top of him with him leaning against the brick wall. He began to speak to me again and I was sure he could feel my heart beating out of my chest onto his muscular chest.

"I was going to tell you last night that after the game I'll pick you up at your home at 10:30pm. After I shower and change."

"That sounds good." I told him smiling.

"Where do you live Emma?" He looked at me so sensually I couldn't barely concentrate.

"In Lakehills." I finally answered after pausing for at least a minute.

His smile lessened and he raised his right eyebrow.

"A rich daddy's girl right?" He asked me and I started to get aggravated. I was hot for him and aggravated all in one. A pretty good mixture of chemistry if I say so. He kept asking me more questions.

"What kind of car do you drive?" He questioned me.

"A 1967 Camaro." I told him not bragging.

"Shiiit." He sexily drawled out in his southern accent.

"Well if you're going to make fun of me I'll just be on my way to class now." I pushed off his chest and he pulled me back down on top of him encircling his arms around my waist holding onto me tighter not letting me go.

"I'm just playing with you baby." He sweetly admitted with sorrow in his tone making me forgive him.

"Tucker what do you drive?" I asked him pretending I didn't know that he drove a motorcycle.

"A Harley." He smiled and asked me "Will your parents let you ride on my Harley with me?"

"Maybe, well just have to wait and see won't we?" I flirted back at him and I didn't know where this confidence was coming from. He brought it out of me.

Tucker looked at me licking his lips and biting his lower lip. Then spoke making me melt all over again.

"I'm dying to kiss you Emma." He pleaded with me and I felt his hand start to rub my lower back almost touching my bum.

"And yet another example of something you'll just have to wait for Tucker Knox." I smiled and winked at him.

The bell rang and he slid his hands to touch my hips and helped me up while I pressed my hands against his chest to stand.

He took my hand and we walked hand in hand to our history class.

Tucker called me every night at 8:00 o'clock in the evening that week. We talked for hours until my mum would make me get off the phone. My mum asked me if I had practice this week and I lied to her and told her ballet didn't start until next week so that way I could stay at home and talk with Tucker. I called the studio to tell them I was sick and I'd be in the following week.

"Emma get off the phone dear, your father needs to use it!" Mum yelled.

"You heard her." He joked at me but stopped me from hanging up the phone just yet.

"Emma, will you go steady with me?" Tucker asked and I pulled the phone down holding the receiver end with my hand to cover it and scream a bit. I came back after gaining my composure.

"Emma did you just scream?" He laughed and told me I was so cute and adorable.

"Yes." I embarrassingly laughed back. "And Tucker of course I will be your steady girlfriend."

We said goodnight and I couldn't wait for daylight to hurry to rise so I could see my Tucker again.

Awwww!! He asked her to go steady! Lol! That's what they used to say when addressing who was dating someone exclusively. 😂💕😘 so frigging cute! Stay tuned y'all!!!!! 😍😍😍
