The Culprit Isn't The Victim
The Culprit Isn't The Victim
Dear Athena,
I have a question for you. Why did you blame Medusa for something she never wanted in the first place? Why did you curse her and not Poseidon? Why did you choose to harm someone who was innocent and allow the real perpetrator to go free, committing the same crime again and again? Why would you inflict such cruelty when you, as a woman, should understand the pain of being wronged—when you know how deeply it hurts to have something taken from you, leaving you forever changed?
Stop blaming Medusa. It's not her fault, and it never will be. The blame lies with Poseidon, whose greed ignited this tragedy.
Wake up, Athena. See the true culprit, not the victim. Stop condoning victim-blaming.
The Culprit Isn't the Victim.
Sincerely,
Modern Medusa
