Aaron and Melissa fought the entire ride to school. I just sat in the back seat hoping they'd stop or that we'd get to school soon. Thankfully we arrived at school before it got too bad. When we arrived I told Melissa bye then Aaron and I walked towards the school. I was halfway to the school when I realized I'd left my backpack in the car. I went back hoping she was there but I was too late.

Aaron's POV
I wasn't in the mood to deal with people when we got to school so as soon as Melissa parked the car I rushed out. Y/n was so excited she left her backpack and had to go back for it when we were halfway to the school. I was lost in thought when I ran into some freshman she was in the middle of a selfie.

"Watch where you're going" I growled and walked away. I heard her mumbling something as I walked away.

Aphmau's POV
It was my first day of High school I was so excited and so nervous. I decided to take a selfie so I'd remember this day. As I was taking my selfie some jerk ran me over. He didn't even stop to help me he just complained and left. Ugh not how I was hoping this would go. I bend over to pick up my books when I'm run into again this time by some girl.

"I'm so so sorry." She practically whispered she seemed really nervous

"It's fine. " I said while picking up my books.
When I had picked up all my books she was gone.

Y/n's POV
I was walking with my head down when I ran into a girl she dropped her books and her raven hair fell in her face. She looked a little upset. I was really nervous so I just apologized and left. I walked around looking for Aaron I needed to see a familiar face. I couldn't find him. By the time I thought I'd found him I was shoved inside the school by the large crowd gathered outside the school. I looked around for Aaron but he must've gotten lost in the crowd. I looked at my schedule and saw my homeroom was room 202. I walked by a couple of other freshmen and heard them saying how glad they were that they'd received a packet over the summer. Great. I was homeschooled last year. Just great. I'm going to be late. I was wondering around the school trying to find my homeroom when I finally came across room 202 the bell rang five minutes ago. I walked in the class and the teacher adressed me when I walked.

"What is your name?"

"Y/n Lycan, sir."

"Oh another Lycan."

"Y-yes , sir."

"Why are you late? All the freshmen from the middle school were given packets over the summer so you would be aware of where your classes are. You should be glad this is the first day."

"I was homeschooled last year."

"Very well. Go find a seat."

"Yes sir."

Five minutes later

Y/n's POV
While the teacher explained the way today would work I saw the girl from earlier she ran in the classroom clutching her books.

Aphmau's POV
The bell had rung ten minutes ago and I have no idea where to go my schedule says I have room 202 for homeroom. I give up. I sighed in defeat. Suddenly I heard a voice and saw someone standing in front of me.

"You ok?" The stranger asked

"No. I'm not I'm lost in these halls and I have no idea where to go."

"Freshmen right?"

"Yeah."

"Didn't you get a school packet in the mail during the summer? They were sent out to all the local middle school kids coming into High school."

"I was homeschooled."

"Oh. Well then here let see your schedule."

*sigh* "Sure. Here I-" I looked up and saw one of the most handsome boys I'd ever seen. His brown hair, his beautiful pale blue eyes.

"Is something wrong...?"

"S-s-sorry here."

Heh "Please don't tell me you're falling for my good looks."

"No!" I jumped up. "N-n-n-no no no t-that's not it" heh OMG I'm so awkward I even laugh awkwardly

"No need to lie have that effect on most girls in this school. Don't let these looks take advantage of you."

"I-i-i I won't."

"Ah your class is nearby. Here I'll walk you there."

We walked in silence down the stairs and around the corner to my class.

"Here we are."

"Thank you so much! I'm so sorry, I probably made you late for your class"

Heh "Nah no worries I'm actually setting up at the club social for all the freshmen so I'll probably see you there."

Mmm

" I guess I will then. Oh hey bye the way that uniform looks good on you."

Ahha I squealed as he walked away. "He said I was cute OMG!" I took a deep breath and quickly let it out.
"Uh calm down, he's probably got a girlfriend... or something" ugh. "That's right I gotta get to class." I walked in while the teacher was explaining something.

*sigh* "Stop wait let me guess."

" I'm so sorry I don't know this place very well and I-"

"The cliche I'm late because I'm new excuse right? You're lucky today is the first day and that you're a freshmen. The school sent out orientation packets during the summer and-"

"I was homeschooled." I blurted out not thinking.

"Oh! I see well then I won't give you flak for that. What's your name?"

"It's Aphmau-"

"Ah I see your name. Very unique. Now take a seat we're just about to start explaining how the day's going to work."

I went and sat in the back next to that girl from earlier and a white haired boy. I don't want to think about being new too much I'm going to talk to whoever I turn to.

Y/n's POV
After the teacher had given her a speech similar to the one I was given he vaguely explained how today would work. After he explained he said we were free to mingle but I don't know anyone here and I'm not much of a talker.

"Hey I'm Aphmau."

The girl from earlier is talking to me is she mad at me... should I respond... what should I do... I turned to face her I was going to respond but no words came out. After a while I was finally able to say "Hello."

"What's your name?"

"I'm Y/n..." I hope she heard me I can't get much louder than that...

Hey guys thank you for reading my fanfic this is where I'll leave it I'm going to try and come up with a posting schedule but as of now I'm going to post as I finish each chapter next chapter is going to introduce the characters I've added since the intro
