"I think I'm falling for you" - Raffle entry

Queen Blizzard and King Penguin were setting up for a party in the Royal castle.

"It must be simply perfect! I don't even want to imagine it not being perfect! Flurry deserves a perfect party!" Queen Blizzard said.

"I know." said King Penguin. "I've already contacted the chefs to make the food. They said they'd be done in about an hour."

"An hour?! We can't wait an hour!"

"Well, there must be something else we can do to make the party even perfect-we while we're waiting for the food!"

"Hm, you're right. Maybe we could have a giant ice statue! Isn't there a professional ice sculptor in this kingdom?"

"Yes... yes there is. But first we need to see if Flurry likes the idea."

As if on cue, Flurry appeared instantly. "These tables look lovely, but where is all the food? A party isn't a party without any food!"

Penguin sighed. "The food will be ready soon, but me and your mother have been talking, and we think a giant ice sculpture would look nice!"

"Hm, I agree... but on one condition. I get to pick what the statue is of!"

"Alright, there's a professional ice sculptor that lives past the hills of the village. Go over to her hut, and see if she can help you sculpt something."

Flurry nodded, and then strutted outside the castle, heading towards the village and over the hills. Surely enough, there was a medium-sized dark greenish-blue tent set up. She walked over to it, and walked in.

Inside was a pale green IceWing, scraping ice shavings off of a wooden table with her claws. She saw Flurry out of the corner of her eye, and turned over to see her more.

"Princess Flurry, correct?" the pale IceWing said. "Nice to meet you. I'm Slushie."

Flurry nodded. "My parents are hosting a party, and we want an ice sculpture for the centerpiece. We thought maybe you could help us...?"

"Indeed I can! Do you have any ideas what you want this sculpture to be of and how big you want it to be?"

"Yes! I would like it to be of me, and I want it as big as you can manage."

"Hmmm, what about pose?"

Flurry stood up tall, lifted up one leg, and curled her tail slightly at the tip.

"Something like this?"

"Yeah, I can do that! However, since you want the biggest size, we'll have to carve outside."

Flurry followed Slushie outside eagerly. A pile of ice blocks of varying sizes was there, and Slushie used what looked like a pair of tongs to pull out the largest one.

Flurry held the pose again, so that Slushie could model it better.

Slushie pulled out a series of sharp tools, and began chipping away at the ice. First, she carved the head, then the neck, then the front legs, and so on.

Soon enough, she was done, and it looked impressive as ever.

"Oh wow!" Flurry said. "It looks great! Can you help me carry it back to the castle?"

Slushie nodded, and picked up one end very gently, while Flurry handled the other. Both of the dragons' cheeks turned a pale pink while they were walking.

When they were almost at the castle, Flurry said, "Hey, why don't you attend the party too? As my special guest?"

Slushie nodded. "I'd love that."

The two dragons walked into the castle and set the statue on it's designated platform.

"That ice sculptor sure did a good job!" Penguin said.

"Yep!" Flurry said, casting a gaze at Slushie.

The table had been set with food while they were gone, and they took their seats near the front of the tables.

However, they couldn't eat all that much because of all the loving gazes they casted at each other.
