Then, she put her paw on my paw and looked at me. I looked into her beautiful magenta eyes. I blushed and gave her a smiled. She smiled back and we got closer, and closer, and closer. And...

Chase's POV
Me and Skye started to come closer and closer. I don't exactly know why she and I are doing it. Am I about kiss her?! This is it! The moment of truth. I closed my eyes and slowly opened my mouth as we were about to kiss. We came closer and closer, and close, until.... "Ummm Chase, Skye. What are you doing?" Marshall interrupted us. I opened my eyes, and I saw me and Skye's muzzles very close to each other. "Oh ummm n-nothing." Skye said nervously. "Y-yeah. W-we were just...ummm...hugging." I said sweating. "Y-yeah." Skye said as she hugged me. I hugged her back. "Okay?" Ryder said confused.

Me and Skye pulled back from the hugged and tried not to look at each other. Why was she trying to kisses me? Does she like me? I mean, we looked directly into our eyes. I need to know why she was trying to kiss me. "Chase!" Rocky and Rubble came in. "Hey guys!" I said. "How are you buddy?" Rubble asked. "Kinda good." I gave a smile. "Where is Zuma?" I added. "He is grounded for attacking you. For about a week." Rubble said. "Oh." I said surprised. Ryder would never ground or punish a pup. Man he was serious about this.

"Alright pups. Let's go eat breakfast. We will be right back Chase." Ryder said. "See ya later Chase." Skye said walking out of the room. "Umm Ryder. Can I stay here with Chase?" He said with a wink. "Sure. I'll bring you the food." Ryder said walking out side.

Marshall's POV
"Alright Chase." I started to talk. "Okay. Okay. I was trying to kiss her." He said trying to look away from me. "Ha! I knew it." I said sitting next to him. "Ummm Marshall." Chase said. "Yeah? What is it?" I said while turning on the TV in the room. "D-do you think Skye was trying to kiss me as well?" He said blushing a bit. "What do you mean?" I asked. "When I opened my eyes, her eyes were closed and she was about to kiss me. Does this mean Skye likes me?" Chase asked. "Hmmm. The way she was about to kiss you, maybe." I said. "Marshall is right. Skye might like you. I mean, I saw her movements when you and Skye were about to kiss. You and Skye's paws were always touching. And the changes that came to her expression of her face." Ryder added, while giving me a bowl of pup food. "I saw it too." I said.

Man. I wish the same thing would happen to me and Everest. I mean, I really love her and I really want to be with her. "Ryder. Who's is gonna take care of my job? You probably need a police pup during rescues." Chase asked Ryder. "Speaking of rescues, did you guys notice that we haven't gone on the mission for a while." I said munching. "Yeah. I think Mayor Humdinger decided to take a break." Chase said with a chuckle. "Hey. We can bring over Everest." Ryder said. I started to chock a bit. "E-Everest?!" I said as I started chocking. "Marshall you okay?" Ryder said patting on my back. "Y-yeah I'm fine." I said. "Why did you suddenly start to chock when Ryder mentioned Everest?" Chase asked curiously. "Chase. It's obvious. Marshall likes Everest." Ryder said setting on the bed next to Chase. "N-no I don't." I said getting nervous. Oh no! They can't know that I like Everest! "Marshall we know that you like Everest. Me and Ryder sometimes talk about it when you are not around." Chase said. Aaand he knows. Great. Just peachy! "Guys. Please don't tell anyone. Please. Don't." I begged them. "Alright calm down. We won't." Ryder said.

Zuma's POV
To be honest. Feels pawsome to be grounded. I can sleep all day! But the worse pawt of being grounded is that I have to be all alone.

I'm looking at this magazine of hot sexy girl pups. Man this magazines gets me hard easily! Suddenly I here someone knocking on my door. "It's Ryder. I'm here with your food." He said. Gweat. Now I have to waste my time eating food, rather than looking at these sexy pups. I opened the door and Wyder was waiting for me. He put down the bowl of food. "What are you reading?" He asked. "It's a magazine." I said trying to putting it way. But he grabbed and gave a sigh. "Zuma. I told you this morning. No dirty things. How many more do you have?" He said. "A-a few mowe." I said feelings newvous. I gave him all of my magazines. "You are never getting these back." Wyder said as he walked away with my magazines.

Gweat! Now how am I gonna jerk off? Maybe I should just eat and go back to sleep. I actually feel bad for Chase. But seriously, Skye will be mine one day! And Rocky. "Is this a new flavow?" I asked myself. I have to say. This pup food taste bettew than the last time I ate.

Back at the Lookout...

Skye's POV
I'm so glad Chase is okay. The Paw Patrol would have never existed, if it was it for Chase. Speaking of Chase, I really need to who wrote "Chase x Skye forever" on that picture I found last night. I'm hoping it to be Chase. But I feel like Marshall did it.

"Skye. You okay?" Rocky asked. "W-what? Yeah I'm fine. Just a little worried about Chase." I said. "Why?" He looked at me. "It's just...what if Zuma is planning something again?" I looked at him. "Chase will be okay. He has us to defend him. And Ryder grounded him. Which means Zuma is learning is lesson. Maybe." Rocky told him. "I hope." I looked at him. He gave me a cute smile. Which made me feel warm inside me. Wait...this is so wrong! Why do I have feelings on Rocky!? But he is just so sweet and kind.

Meanwhile...

"Ryder, are you sure it's a good idea to bring over Everest?" Marshall asked Ryder. "What do you mean Marshall?" Ryder asked. "It's just...I don't know. What if she messes things up?" Marshall looked at him. "Everest wouldn't mess things up. She is certified member of the Paw Patrol." Chase said. "Chase is right. Everest and Chase has a similar job. So she can take Chase's job for now." Ryder said. "Alright you have a point." Marshall agreed. "Plus, this is your chance to let Everest you love her." Chase said. "Pppfffffff! No, I don't love her." Marshall said nervously. Chase and Ryder looked at him feeling suspicious. "Fine! I love her." Marshall looked away blushing. "Ha! I knew it." Ryder said. "I'll help you Marshall. Everest will be yours one day." Chase looked at him and gave a fine. "It's fine. Right now, I need you and Skye to be together. And then you can help me." Marshall said. "Okay, if you say so." Chase said. "I'll call Everest later today." Ryder said. "Ummm. C-can I call her? Please?" Marshall asked Ryder with puppy eyes. "Sure thing Marshall." Ryder said with a chuckle. "And try not to freak out." Chase added, as we started to laugh. "I won't. Hehe." Marshall said.

Afternoon as struck in Adventure Bay. Things are going pretty good so far. Marshall, Rubble and Rocky were playing outside, meanwhile Ryder was tuning his ATV.

In the medical room, Chase and Skye were hanging out, alone. There were watching Impractical Jokers season 9 on TV in the room. "Wow! I never knew this was that funny." Skye said giving out a laugh. "I know! I watch this everyday." Chase said looking at her. They both laughed along to the scenes.

After the two episodes were over, they tuned of the TV so they can catch their breath. "Chase, when the show is on tonight, please tell me. I want to watch it more." Skye said. "Sure thing Skye. I will let you know 10 minutes before the show begins." Chase said putting down the remote. "So, about missions, who is gonna be the police officer?" Skye asked Chase. "Everest will. Marshall will be calling her and asking her if she can be here until I'm fine." Chase said. "Marshall will call her? Awwwww. That's cute." Skye said sitting down next to Chase. "I know right." Chase looked at her.

Meanwhile...

Marshall's POV
Me, Rocky and Rubble were playing at the front yard. "I got it! I got!" I said running towards the ball, until I ran faster than it and tripped over it. "Woah!" I said as I tripped. "Marshall! Are you okay?" Rocky came over to help me. "Yea I'm fine." I said getting up. Suddenly, I remembered something very important. I forgot to call Everest! Oh no no no no! It's almost 4:30. I better call her. But first, I need to make up an excuse. "Hey ummm, I'll be right back guys." Started to walk away. "Where are you going?" Rubble asked. "Ummm it's something a little personal. Hehe." I said and walked away.

I walked behind my pup house, and looked around to see if anyone is around. "Ruff! Call Everest." I whispered over to my pup-tag. And now, I wait.

Meanwhile at Jake's Cabin...

No POV
Everest was cleaning the treads of her Snow Cat. Then, her pup-tag starts to ring. "Hello, Everest here." He said over. "Heyyy Everest." Marshall said over the pup-tag. "Oh hi Marshall! How are you?" She asked while cleaning her Snow Cat. "I'm good. How about you?" He asked. "I'm good as well. Thanks for asking." She said. "Anyways, Ryder wants to ask you something." He said over the pup-tag. "Sure. What's up?" Everest asked. "We need your help. Chase is injured and we could use you for the missions until he feels better." Marshall said. "Oh no what happened to Chase? Is he okay?" She asked worriedly. "Well...

After a few minutes of explaining...

"Oh no. That's terrible." Everest got a frown on her face. "Yeah. I know." Marshall said. "Why would Zuma do such thing?" Everest asked. "I have no idea." Marshall said in a sad tone. He didn't mention about the reason why Zuma attacked Zuma. If he did, Chase's secret would be exposed. "So what do you say, can you be Chase's backup?" He asked. "Sure thing! Anything to help you the Paw Patrol. I'll be there by 6 pm." Everest said. "Great! I'll see you then." Marshall said happily. "See ya later Marshall. Bye!" Everest said as they ended the call.

Back at the Lookout...

Marshall's POV
"Wow. That wasn't that bad." I said to myself. I can't wait! I'm finally gonna meet Everest after a long time. I better not be annoying when she arrives. "Whatcha doing?" I heard a voice behind. "GAH!!" I stalled as I turned around. It was Ryder! "Ryder! Don't do that!" I told him. "Sorry. Sorry." He said and laughed a bit. "By the way, was that Everest?" He asked. "Yeah. She said she will be here by evening." I told him. "Oh, okay. Try not to freeze. Bud." Ryder said as he walked away. "I won't free- oh now it makes sense." I said.

Meanwhile at the medical room...

Chase and Skye has been chatting about random stuff ever since 'Impractical Jokers' stopped showing from the TV. "So that is how you drive my truck." Chase told Skye. "Ooh now I get it." She said. Chase was telling a small lesson on how to drive a land-vehicle. Since she never drove truck. "So, as soon as you feel better, what are you gonna do?" Skye asked Chase. "I will get up my furry butt and I will...to be honest I don't know what to do." Chase said. Skye gave a laugh. "Furry butt. That just lose me. I mean, you do have a cute little furry butt." Skye said looking away. "I'm sorry what?" Chase asked feeling confused. "N-nothing." She said blushing a bit. "Okay?" He said.

"Paw Patrol, to the Lookout!" Skye's pup-tag rang. "Ryder needs us!" She said. "Aww do you have to go?" Chase said in a sad voice. "Sorry Chase, but duty calls. I'll be back if I don't have to go. Bye!" Skye said running out of the medical room. "Okay, good luck!" Chase said.

The other pups rushed into the elevator and waited for Marshall of course. "Where is Marshall?" Rocky asked. "I'm coming! I'm- woah!" He tripped and rammed into others. "Damn I missed these wipeouts!" Marshall said. As the others laughed. The elevator door closed and went up, stopped on the Paw Patrol symbol and went up again. The elevator stopped at the top floor and the door opened. The pups lined up in front of Ryder. "Paw Patrol, ready for action Ryder sir!" Skye said. "Thanks for rushing over pups." He said as he clicked on this pup-pad. The screen lowered down behind him. "As we know, it has been more than 2 weeks that we haven't had a rescue." Ryder said. "Are we going on a Ultimate Rescue?" Marshall said waggling his tail. "Are we going on a Air Rescue?" Skye said excitedly. "Sadly pups, no. We have to find chickaletta." Ryder said. "Again?!" The pups said at the same time. "That's right. So on this mission I need Marshall and Skye. As you two should know what to do, since we have done this repeatedly." Ryder said. "We know what to do." Skye and Marshall said at the same time. "Alright. Paw Patrol is on a roll!" Ryder said as he ran across the room and down the fire pole. While Skye and Marshall went down the slide and into there vehicles. As Ryder hopped onto his ATV and they are off to the rescue!

Meanwhile...

Chase's POV
I'm still in the medical room reading a magazine, waiting for Skye. Until Rocky and Rubble walked in. "Hey Chase." Rocky said. "Hey guys. Where is Skye?" I asked. "Oh she and Marshall went on a mission. And we decided to hang out here with you." He said sitting down. "Dang it." I whispered. "What?" Rocky asked. "Nothing." He said as I continued to read the magazine.

"Hey Chase, mind if I put the TV in Food Network?" Rubble asked. "Sure Rubble." I said while reading the magazine. Rubble changed the channel to Food Network. Damn he is so into food. I bet someday he will be on a show that's about food. "Chase, why did you ask where Skye is? Do you like her or something?" Rocky asked. "N-no. I don't like her. But I like her as friend. Me and Skye were having a conversation about something." I said. "About what?" He asked. "Do you have to know everything?" I looked at him. "Good point." Rocky said and watched TV with Rubble. "Wait, aren't you suppose to check if Zuma is okay?" Rubble ask Rocky. "Oh yeah. I'll be right back guys." He said walking outside.

Rocky's POV
I walked outside and went over to Zuma's pup house. "Zuma? You okay?" I knocked. "Zuma?" I asked and knocked once again. He didn't answer. I hope he is doing fine. I think he is taking a nap, I better not bother him. I remember when I slept with him last night, he looked so cute! I wish I can sleep with him again. But Ryder told me no.

I went back to the medical room. "Is Zuma doing okay?" Chase asked me. "I think. He didn't answer me." I said. "What if he is not in there?" Rubble asked. "He might have ran off somewhere!" I said worriedly.

Meanwhile at the rescue...

No POV
Marshall, Skye and Ryder were done with the rescue. They found Chikalatta on a near by tree. "If you ever need finding Chickelatta, just yelp for help." Ryder said his famous catchphrase. "And please be more responsible with her." Marshall told Mayor Goodway. "I will pups. Buh bye!" She said. "Bye Mayor Goodway!" Ryder said as the he and pups drove off.

Suddenly, Ryder got a call. "Hey Rocky. We are just coming back to the Lookout." He said while driving. "We have a problem." Rocky said worriedly. "What's going on?" Ryder asked. "You better come fast and see it by your self." Rocky said, as the call ended.

Ryder and the other pups arrived at the Lookout, Rocky and Rubble were waiting them. "What's going on?" Ryder asked hopping off his ATV. "It's Zuma. He is not answering. I really hope he is okay in there." Rocky said with a sad look on his face. Ryder took out his pup-pad and pressed a button that appeared on the screen. Zuma's pup house door opened. But he is not there. "Where did he go?" Rocky asked worriedly. "I don't know. Let me check where he is." Ryder said as he opened the tracking device app. The app showed that Zuma is near the shore. "It looks like he is at the beach." Ryder said. "But why?" Rubble asked. "I don't know. I'll be right back pups." He said hopping onto his ATV, put on his helmet and drove off to the beach.

Ryder's POV
I don't why Zuma is at the beach. But I better not find him mating with a female pup. I followed the GSP tracker of his pup tag. I finally arrived and Zuma is...just starring at the water?

"Zuma? What are you doing out here?" I asked in a stubborn voice. "Why can't you just leave me alone for one minute." He said and went back to stare at the horizon. I set down next to him, he didn't even bother to look at me. I believe he is mad at me. "Why are you mad at me?" I asked. "Why am I mad at you? Why am I mad at you?! You grounded me for one week in my pups. With no TV. No social intewaction. No nothing. Do you know how that feels?!" He shouted at me. Wow. None of my pups ever shouted at me. "Zuma, understand how you feel. But you have to stop threatening Chase. He doesn't deserve any of those." I told him. He stood silent and didn't say anything. "Okay. Today is your last day of being grounded. Is that okay?" I asked. "I guess that's fine." He turned and gave a smile. "Now, let's head back to the Lookout. It's almost evening." I said as we got up. Zuma hopped onto my ATV, as we drove of the Lookout.

Later that day, 5:42 pm

No POV
It's almost sundown in Adventure Bay. Ryder is preparing dinner for the pups. Zuma is still in his pup house, since today is his last day of being grounded.

Meanwhile Chase, Marshall and Skye were in the medical room with Chase. "Can you try walking?" Marshall asked. "I'll try." Chase said getting off the bed. But he didn't touch the floor with his left paw. "Try putting your paw on the floor." Skye said. "No. No. It might hurt." Chase said shocking his head. "C'mon Chase. You can do it." Skye tried to encourage him. Chase slowly put his left paw on the floor. "Nnnngggg!!" He said in pain. He quickly took his paw of the floor. "I see it still hurts." Marshall said. "Ahh! Yeah it does!" Chase said.

Then, Ryder came into the medical room. "Guys! Come outside!" He said. "What's going on?" Skye said, as she and Marshall followed Ryder out. "Ummm hello?" Chase stood there, no one was in the room. He gave a sigh and got in the bed. "What now?" He asked himself.

Marshall's POV
I don't know what's happening, but I think Everest is coming. Oh my dog! This is it! I'm so excited! Okay. Okay. Okay. Play it cool. Play it cool Marshall.

We lined up on the front of the entrance. "What's going on?" Rocky asked me. "I have no idea Rocky. But this better be good." I said with a smile. I can hear a little roar of Everest's Snow Cat. Then, Ryder turned to me and gave a smile. I think I know what it means. It's definitely Everest! "Wait, I know that engine roar anywhere!" Skye said excitedly. "Help is on the way guys." Ryder said.
