Skye's POV

''Don't just turn your head away from me mister!'' I shouted at him

Chase's head slightly turned to me ''You want me to stare at you so, I can fall into your stupid love spell?''

''What? no!''

''Really? It looks like it. But I can't blame you for wanting to see my handsome face,'' He winked at me while shoving his brown hair back

I felt my cheeks getting red ''S-shut up!'' I spat out in force

''Looks like someone's blushing,'' Chase snickered

''As if,'' I rolled my eyes

''Enough talking class,'' Katie clapped her hands

Everyone looked her way. There were still mutters around the classroom. About me...

''Before we start our English lesson. Let's welcome our new student Miss Quill,''

Mrs Katie started clapping and a few more did so too

''Why don't you come in the front of the class and introduce yourself?'' Katie suggested

''Umm, sure,'' I got out of my seat and fell to the ground. I looked behind and saw Chase's leg. I could hear snickers everywhere

''DETENTION MR GUNN!'' Katie shot

''Urgh,'' He groaned and put his head on the table

I felt a hand picking me up.

''Oh thank you,'' I said

I felt the boy whispering something in my ear ''Shush, I'm only doing this to get extra credit, so don't think I'm trying to help you,'' He hissed at me

I gave him a stern look and headed to the front of the class

''Extra credit Rocky!'' Katie smiled

My face opened in shock. I heard a ''Yes!'' From the so called Rocky

''But, but, but,'' I couldn't talk as I saw a death glare from Rocky.

''Yes Miss Quill?'' Katie tilted her head

''Nothing...'' I sighed

''Very well then. Why don't you tell the class about yourself?'' She proposed

''Oh yes. Well. Hi I'm Skye Quill.'' I felt my words turning awkward

There were coughs and giggles in the backround

''And umm...'' My face got red

Chase kept distracting me with his charming glare, I knew he was doing that on purpose but I couldn't stop myself from blushing

''Errr...''

''Well why don't you tell the class what you like?'' The teacher said

''I like,'' Chase was looking at me ''I like Cha-'' I quickly covered my mouth

''You like Charcoal?'' A student asked

''Challenges?''

''Chase?'' Chase winked

I started sweating like crazy. I think I was about to pass out

''Are you alright Skye?'' Katie worried

Laughs and giggles filled the room. Girls chanting ''Skase!'' and ''Skye likes Chasey!''

''Why don't you sit back down Skye?'' The teacher was looking at me

I nodded and walked to my seat while looking at the floor. I was highly embarrassed

''Don't worry pinky,'' A soft whisper came to my ear ''I'll make sure you don't die on your first day, even though you gave me detention,'' He teased

''Shut up,'' I breathed heavily

''Settle down students!'' The teacher snapped and all was quiet ''Ahm, Why don't I tell you your homework assignment?'' Katie said In a devilish grin

Everyone gasped, I looked in confusion but still joined in

''I want you all to work in pairs for this,'' Katie's voice became high pitch

''You must make a book roughly about 100 to 500 pages about anything you want. You and your partner must do it together to show me how good our teamwork is. So let me pair you up!'' Katie smiled

''Tundra and Rocky,'' I heard the girl named 'Tundra' squeal in excitement, I guess she likes that toad

''Gasket and Zuma,'' Gasket scoffed while Zuma screamed, I heard the boy's sigh in disappointed, Because Gasket one of the most popular girl in school, so I am told

''Tuck and Sylvia,'' The pair were crying. They must not like each other

''Arby and Ella,'' The pair screamed ''No please NO!'' 

Mrs Katie said the others...

''Everest and Marshall,'' 

''Oh my god, oh my god, Is this a dream?'' It looked like Everest was about to faint

Marshall was wheezing heavily ''I'm paired up with Everest?!''

The teacher nodded

''I can't take it-'' He dropped to the floor

Chase got out of his chair and started pushing his hands on Marshall's chest ''Breath buddy, breath,'' He continued

Marshall dizzily got up ''I had this CRAZY dream that. I was. Paired up with.'' He looked at the girl who was right next to him ''EVEREST?!'' He screamed and once again fell to the floor

''Ah well then, now for the last pair

''Chase and Skye!''

''Wait what?!'' Chase shook his head ''This can't be happening!''

''Me- paired up with- Cha- Chase?'' I couldn't breath

''Yes,''

''AHH, no, no, no-!'' I dropped to the ground

''Ahh, Miss as we're doing a assessment TOGETHER I might need some medicine,''

''Why?'' She asked

''Because, Skylar, Skye? Whatever her name is. Can't stand my handsome face,'' He crossed his arms
