Imagine #32: Catch Me If You Can (Part 4)

You didn't expect that you'd miss Patrick and Declan so much. The both of them stopped seeing you since that day, and that was almost a month ago. There were times that you almost visited them, but always backing up halfway. You think that maybe things had been patched up again with them and Elisa.
  
"I should just be happy about them." You said to yourself.

Today is Declan's Birthday and you're arguing with yourself again. Your present to Declan was already at your side on the passenger seat. It was a violin, Declan told you he always wanted that instrument.

"But maybe just for Declan.." You convinced yourself and drive towards their house.

You pulled over near their house and you immediately noticed that there's really a party inside. You climbed out and took the gift, taking a deep breath before going inside of their house.

You were greeted by Pete and Meagan, you've became friends with them too.

"{Y/N}! It's been a while. Patrick and Declan has been dying too see y--

"Yeah." You interrupted, not wanting to hear it. "Um, where's the birthday kid? I just want to hand him my present." You said while smiling sadly.

The two noticed your mood, but just respected it. Theh knew your relationship with Patrick before and now that this happened, they might understand your situation.

"Come here, he's in the garden with his friends." Meagan volunteered.

You're honestly wishing that you won't see Patrick in there but it seems impossible. You walked to the garden and the moment Declan saw you, the kid lighten up.

"{Y/N}!" He called out excitedly and run to you.

"Kid!" You caught him with a hug and he tightly hugged you back. You really missed him so much. "Happy birthday, Declan! I miss you so much." You added.

"Me too! Me too! I don't understand why dad doesn't want me to see you. I miss you so much." He said and you sadly smiled at him.

"Um...look, I have a surprise for you!" You said, handing the gift.

Declan slowly opened his present as some of his friends closed in. His eyes widened when he saw what was inside.

"A violin?!" He said in amazement. "Thank you!!" He said.

"Wow, that's cool, Declan!"
"Wow, that's amazing."
"It's beautiful."

The kids around him said and you find yourself smiling.

"Everyone! She's the cool girl I'm talking about. She's a cop, she saved me and dad and everything about her is cool." Declan said that made you blush. The kids went in to you, asking many things and you're suddenly worry-less.

Time goes on and you're enjoying entertaining these kids. You're amazed that you haven't seen Patrick there. The kids disappeared one by one, already going home until Declan was the only one left with his presents.

"Did you have a great day, Declan?" You asked him.

"Yes, you made it more special!" He said, but he seems very tired now.

"Aaaww. Love you, kid." You said, kissing him on the head.

You both stayed inside his bedroom until Declan fall asleep. You fixed him so he would be comfortable with his rest and after that, you just left the room.

The moment you walked out, you saw Patrick outside and he looked at you with longing eyes.

"{Y/N}." He said, it seems he really wants to hug you.

"Sorry for barging in, I just helped Declan go to sleep." You explained, not engaging an eye contact with him.

"I know, I was watching you the whole time...I mean, really, thank you for loving my kid like that." He explained.

"The moment I saved that kid, I felt a special connection with him. Thank you for letting me express that to him too." You answered.

"I hope you also feel the same way towards me." He said, suddenly guiding your chin to look at him. "{Y/N}, I swear you changed my and my son's life when you came. Not just because you saved us, but because you...you completed us again." He said. All the sincerity was in his eyes and you appreciated all that.

"But what about Elisa?" You asked.

"What you saw that day...it meant nothing. I also realized that moment that I don't have feelings for her anymore, that we're definitely done." He explained. "I didn't...I didn't push my luck to hard because I'm thinking that if I kept on bothering you, you would push us away more, but now you're here...I'n going to tell these all to you." He said.

"You know...I really didn't expect this from happening. I missed you so much." You said, finally giving in to your feelings.

You hugged Patrick there and he responded with a hug too. He kissed your head and after that he pulled back. Patrick held your cheeks, guiding you to kiss him. Your lips met and they passionately moved in rhythm, getting deeper and deeper with each movement.

Patrick pinned you on the wall and picked you up after, walking inside his bedroom. He's already kissing you down to your neck which makes you moan softly.

"See what I'm talking about? Now this kiss...is definitely worth waiting for." Patrick said softly in your ears that made you shiver in so much pleasure.

You're both already on the bed, helping each other to removes the clothes in your skin.

"Are you really sure about this, Patrick?" You asked, still thinking about him and Elisa.

"Oh hell yes, {Y/N}. You're the one that would make my and Declan's life better." He said. "How about you?" He asked.

"Yes, because I know you and Declan will make me feel complete again" you said.

Your lips have met again and its goes deeper as the night goes the same way. Your activity continued in there and you really feel that what you're doing is the right thing. Love has once again ignited within you and you promised that you won't let anything get in the day this time...

This time...you will be able to save them no matter what.

You woke up to your phone that's been ringing and you immediately became full alert. You felt that Patrick was next to you while hugging you. You moved to pick up your phone, it was your office phone, that's why you know it's urgent.

"Agent {y/l/n}, they are at large again...and this time they are taking ladies." One officer reported and you became fully awake.

"Last location?" You asked seriously. You're already pulling all of your clothes and getting into them again.

"{Random location}. Units have already been sent, I just wanted you to know this...but be careful with your actions, revenge is never a good drive to attack someone." The person on the other line said. "Be careful, they are after girls now and you being an officer will not change that. The last reported that was taken was Elisa Stump, former wife of Patrick Stump." He said and you dropped the phone.

Patrick was already awake while looking at you. You're shocked with what he reported, you looked at Patrick, not knowing what to say.

"W-what happened?" Patrick asked.

"P-Patrick...E-Elisa has been kidnapped." You said and Patrick look at you in shock.

"N-no...y-you're...

"I-I know those people, but I promise you, I'll get Elisa safe and sound. I'm not letting them hurt her, I'm not letting them hurt anyone again." You said and you didn't realize that you were shaking in anger.

Those people...finally...you'll be able to get justice for the death of your former husband.
