Imagine #163: The Overcast Chronicles (Part 1)

{READ THIS FIRST: Okay, some of you MIGHT be familiar with this already. It's another fanfic book that is uploaded here in my account but I haven't updated it for months! So I decided to bring it here instead, somehow, I feel motivated when the story is here. I'll be uploading the 4 parts here today and continue on, updating here and on that separate book. But in here, I'm going to make YOU as the protagonist and on the separate book, it'll be a new character (just with a different name but same story).

 So, this will have a different approach for it will contain some science-fiction/magical aspects. To be honest, this is really my most favorite genre. So, just a little sneak peak, the boys, and the main character will have a certain 'power' here. Are you guys anime fans? So I came up with this idea after watching 'CHARLOTTE' it's a cool anime and that's where I'll be basing this story, but of course, not everything is based on it. So, that's that!

*Patrick's P.O.V*

A falling meteor or falling stars are supposed to be beautiful to watch...well, maybe except when it's falling just meters away from you.

We have no idea that this meteor will fall right here, right now. There were no warnings from everywhere...it just appeared, ready to hit us. Well, we're far from it, but I know that the impact will still hit us hard.

"Everyone! In the bus...NOW!" Our stage manager shouted at us.

Unfortunately, the place where the meteor will hit is just meters away from the place where we're having this music festival and sadly, this place is packed. There are thousands of people in here and not all of them will have enough time to escape. Everyone is panicking and the media is not even helping at all with all the alarms and panicked voices over the radios and TV stations, everything is a mess in here. People are trying to find cover, some are trying to run away as far as they could, and some are already hitting each other. I'm really not prepared to see this kind of scene in my life and I can't believe that I'm witnessing all these now.

"Patrick! Come on, buddy!" Pete shouted at me then dragged me towards the bus. I saw Pete's expression, I know he's just trying to look okay too, but deep inside he's very much worried about all these people.

"Are we really..." I started to say, but couldn't even finish thinking about what I was going to say.

"Y/N's missing! She's not in any of the bus!" Andy and Joe suddenly came running to us and that's when my I got full out alert.

"Where is she?!" I asked them as I eagerly looked around to see my best friend, but I know I won't see her that easily.

"We don't know! She should be on our bus, but she's not!" Joe shouted we all have our worried expression in our faces now. Y/N's been our friend since the Fall Out Boy started and she's very close to all of us, and now that we're in a freaking serious situation, we're losing her!

"You know her, that girl will fucking help anyone she can. Come on, let's find her!" Pete said, but before we can agree with him...we already found our girl.

"EVERYBODY CALM THE FUCK DOWN!!!" the speakers from all over the place boomed with her voice and I'm shocked that everyone stopped moving, I almost thought that that voice could even stop the meteor to hit. "Hitting each other will not fucking stop the falling meteor!! EVERYONE WHO THINKS WHO HAVE A MATURE ENOUGH MIND, lead the others to run as far away as you can from this place...NOW! The meteor will not hesitate to hit meters from here and I swear the crater will eat us all if we don't fucking move. SO MOVE YOUR ASSES RIGHT NOW!" she said like a mom and again, I'm amazed that he made everyone listen to her.

Y/N's a part of the team that made this music festival to happen and maybe she felt responsible, that's why she gladly volunteered to do that, but the problem is...she's the one who'll be left out if we don't get her right now.

"Tell the staff to gather as many people as they can and go now! We won't leave Y/N behind! Let's go!" Joe shouted at our stage manager. He looked like he wanted to argue, but we're already running away from them.

As we run towards the stage, we're also pointing people on where to go and helping them on their feet to run from the scene. The meteor is now visible from where we are and I can't believe I'm seeing this with my bare eyes. I looked behind and thankfully almost everyone has run far, maybe except us who's still running towards the stage.

"What are you idiots doing here?!!! You should be on the bus right now?!" Y/N saw us and instantly panicked. She jumped off the stage and reunite with us.

"And you should be in there too!! You fucking had us worried. Come on!!!" Pete said and we're still running, this time away from there now. We're helping the other people who got left out too as we ran.

Our surrounding begins to get hotter and hotter and we can feel that the meteor will hit any moment now.

"We can't make it!" Andy shouted as we ran like we've never run before.

"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!" Joe kept on cursing as he was leading some other teenagers out of the danger, but he knows he can't.

I took the time to look back as I ran with Y/N side by side and I swear, I almost collapsed when I saw the meteor.

"EVERYONE! TAKE COVER!!!" I heard Y/N shouted and she held my hand and I involuntarily hugged her and covered her as the meteor hit.

Moments later after the impact, all of us were thrown by the strong wind the collision caused. I gripped on Y/N's hand, but we still lost each other. I tried to open my eyes to see Pete and the others too, but the wind just kept on blinding my eyes. I can also feel some rocks hitting all over my body and I'm afraid that soon enough, my head will be hit. I pushed myself to cover my head with my hands just to protect it and wish that this will be over and that no one will be seriously hurt.

I was feeling that the wind is getting weaker and weaker so I decided to slowly open my eyes, but suddenly, a single small rock hit my eye. I always experience this happening, but it had never been this painful before. The rock was burning hot and my eyes can feel it. I swear I'm keeping it to myself but I just involuntarily shouted in pain. After that, I felt that my whole was burning hot and I couldn't even think straight because of that. I have no idea what had happened to me, but I know that the rock may be the cause. I tried to control the pain, but the more I try...the more pain I feel. I was already gripping the ground, I tried shouting for help...but it seems like I can't.

Everything around me began to black out, but the pain was still as worse as before. Fortunately, my body began to shut down and finally, I can't feel anymore.

*Y/N's P.O.V.*

I felt that Patrick quickly hugged me to protect me from the impact that the meteor will cause, but I'm sure that won't be much of a help later on.

We're so close from where the meteor will hit and I know it will cause us much trouble. I gripped on to Patrick's hands as I felt the meteor crashed onto the earth's soil. Moments after the wind hit us and as I have foreseen, it's already throwing us around.

My body had been rolling around the hard ground and things had hit it so hard that I'm glad I'm still not bleeding to death. Rocks kept on colliding with my head and body and I'm trying so hard not to shout in pain. suddenly, I heard someone yelling and I'm sure that that was Patrick's distressed and pained voice. I instantly looked at the way where I heard the voice and I saw him there. It's like he's having a seizure in the ground.

"Patrick!" I shouted and tried to ran to him, but it was no use. Out surrounding is still not stable and the wind is still against me. I collapsed on the floor and then I tried to cover my eyes with my hands. It was a great protection, but suddenly, I felt a burning hot rock hit my hands and I know it did make its way inside my skin. It was too small, yet the pain it brought was like out of this world. From the small pain in my hand, it scattered over my arms and through my whole body in no time and I had no idea why. I was already shouting in pain too and everything is already going black. I somehow caught a glimpse of Pete, Joe, and Andy too and it seems like they are having the same problems with what I am experiencing. I have no idea on what is happening, but I just want the pain to stop...thankfully my body granted my wish and it just involuntarily shut down.
