Imagine #101: I love you...

"Patrick...I need to tell you something." you told him. The guy you just became close to these past few months. The guy that you've been looking up to for years. The guy that inspired you ever since you knew him.

You don't actually know what you both have right now. It's like you're dating, but not. Maybe just friends..., but not that either. There's this unlabeled things between you and him, but then again, you don't want to expect too much. Besides, you have to remember that you're just a fan...But you know the events last few months is affecting you both so much. You and he are becoming closer and closer. You thought that you already gave him the highest kind of love when you fangirl about him, but boy...you're so wrong. Now that you're close like this...it's way more than that. A lot way more that it really makes you fall for the guy.

"I-I really don't know how to say this. Heck! I don't even know i-if I should say this. I know it's only been some months, and really the opportunity you gave me to be your friend...to be close to you is really really golden and I can never thank you enough for that. B-but at the same time, that opportunity, it made me feel something. I really tried to stop myself, but I can't. I don't want to ruin whatever this is you gave to me...but I have to be honest with you and with myself." you started and you can't believe that you're already stuttering so much. Patrick was just as patient as ever and just looking and listening at you attentively.

"I'm really not expecting you to reply from this. I don't want you to feel that you should reply from this. It's just that I want to say it...to you...directly." you continued as you feel your face burning. You couldn't even look at him in the eyes. "God, I'll sound so desperate in here!" you said to yourself with a quiet laugh. "Here goes nothing...Patrick, I-I...

"Y/N...I love you too." he suddenly said, holding your chin and gently leading you to look at him and right that moment, you literally stopped responding. It's like your brain encountered so many errors that time and you just stood there...looking at him...dumbfounded.

He said it. You weren't even sure at first if he really does something for you. He really wasn't giving you any hint, it's just him being as nice as ever...but here he is, being the one who says it first.

"Y-you said it." you finally spoke. Patrick gave a genuine smile.

"At first I didn't know what I was really feeling. I thought it was just another feeling where I was just excited to have meet someone new, someone interesting. I really have no idea what was this...what we have. But then I came to realize that maybe I don't need any more explanation, maybe it's just supposed to happen and I think the only reason for that is...I am in love with you, Y/N." he explained which made you shake a little.

You really didn't expect this to happen. You were just thinking to telling him your true feelings tonight, not expecting anything back from him...but now you're the one who's speechless.

"You really have gotten me speechless, Patrick. A-and you're rude for cutting me off." you said while giggling and he playfully hugged you and messed your hair a little. "But I have three words for you." you continued as you look at him. "I love you..." 

"I know...and I believed I already replied to that too." he whispered and you know that that's all you want to hear.
